  • A little bit of a deeper dive into one of our longest held products. As the title suggests, if you haven't got the means for a professional applied ceramic coating this is the next best thing with high ease of use, slickness and gloss. With a little back story to this product this is an eye opening episode.

    This is awesome, used it on my sons Red Fiesta and it make the car look fantastic even on my White Kuga is makes the car sparkle, I use this a drying aid on my tyres weekly. It may sound excessive but I do 1000 miles plus per week on motorways and it helps minimise the wheel cleaning process as it prevents lots of the normal fallout from sticking.
    Will alternate between Yum detailer and Yum ceramic over the coming months to build up protection ready for the winter months.

    Works for me!
    Been using this product along with yum wash & their detail spray on 4 family vehicles. Ive been a detailing as a weekend warrior for a longggggg time lol. Used alot of products over the years! Heard alot about Yum so, they are local to me so called into their store couple of months ago and left very impressed.
    These guys are not "box shifters" and share the same enthusiasm for detailing as i do. I was looking for a new product to test as i had just run out of gtechniq c2(another great product).
    Yum ceramic is the perfect product for me as i tend to apply a base layer then use it diluted 1:1 as a drying aid during every wash. Then follow up with their excellent detail spray the day after (weather permitting). I can honestly say the results for me are outstanding.
    Its not the most durable, but i dont want it to be. I usually wash my cars at least once a fortnight so just topping it up as a drying aid works for me.
    Absolute breeze to use! Even the bottle it comes in is quality.
    Looking forward to trying more from Yum nice to see a local company on the up!

    I just tried Yum Ceramic on my alloys today for the first time. Holy $h!t 😲😲😢 Why didn't anybody tell me to try it on alloys ages ago? 😳 They're as shiny as hell now. 😍

    I'm a real fan of this. I have two Yum Ceramics. I have a quarter-full bottle of Yum Ceramic, and I still have an empty bottle that used to contain YUM CERAMIC BOOST (its original name) with the old yellow Y-branding, from 2019 (I'll keep that bottle as a rare collector's piece). I keep wondering how I used to manage without this phenomenal LSP. It works quick, and adds tons of gloss and protection. I'll soon order a new bottle since I'm nearly out of my 2nd bottle.

    I am currently using the yum ceramic on both my cars and think it’s awesome, easy to use and great slickness and gloss. People are to hung up on the whole longevity of products, where in reality we all put some sort of protection down after every wash!
    Great products, now purchasing the v2 dress and a pressol bottle 👍

    I love Yum Ceramic, now I have a doubt, after applying a ceramic coating and a top coat, would you advise me to apply the Yum Ceramic, to protect more the layer I have and then also every so often give Yum Wax, best regards from Spain.

    • @YumCars
      @YumCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      we recommend to use this product as a coating topper 100%, also if you have a ceramic coating we would suggest not to use wax on your car

    Hi Nick, Will you be releasing a 5Ltr version of the ceramic sealant, I see everything else is available as 5Ltr but not the ceramic.

    Please could you deep-dive review Yum Glass and Yum Glass+ next? Nobody has done those yet, and they're the best glass cleaners I've used.

    Hi Nick. I am confused and a bit misled. I have both Yum Wax and Yum Ceramic. I have read you comment below where you say don’t use wax and ceramic together, so does it mean my Yum wax is now redundant and I can’t use it . ?

    • @YumCars
      @YumCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are referencing a professionally applied resin delivered coating system, in that case yes do not use a wax as this will give no benefit, however on a ceramic spray sealant which is a different product absolutely top it with a wax.

    For me it often leaves lines, you must first use detailer or you should not use it in the sun

    • @YumCars
      @YumCars  หลายเดือนก่อน

      if you are using in the sun of course you will run into issues
      do not use detail spray before hand as you are effecting the surface tension
