Doesn’t it seem like they could beef up the metal and just add more cams to make it accommodate a full ton or even 3000lbs maybe? 1 1/2 ton would be awesome. It’s just such a simple design.
Looked like you put the rope in the porta wrap wrong. Just put a bite of rope through the top ring so the rope enters and exits the ring catching the pin, before you wrap the cylinder part.

Did you cut the tree or did you just break it with the jack?
What’s the load capacity of the rope puller?
I believe it’s 1500lbs
