A garden is a place conjured from the imagination; a place to dream, explore, and allow the realities of life to drift away with each meditative motion through the crumbling soil, and each sympathetic shear. Every garden holds the essence of its creator, and every flower lovingly planted embodies their wistful memories, sadness, joy and aspirations.

✿ Gillian's Baked Oats Recipe:
To make a single portion for a standard ramekin/dish: Add two scoops of porridge oats (30g) into a Nutribullet or any fine blender, then add one egg, half teaspoon of baking powder, twist of pink salt, drizzle of maple syrup (measurement depends on your sweetness preference), and a splash of milk to loosen the texture. Blitz until a batter is formed, and add to your dish. Finally drop in toppings of your choice- blueberries, chocolate chips, raspberries and white choc etc. Bake for 30-35 mins at 170 degrees celsius.

Thank you. When I was 5 yrs old (longer ago than I care to admit), I got a book called the Magic Key. It was about two children who found a key in their garden. They began exploring their garden in the hope of finding the door that fit the key. They found a fairyland of delights in their garden that they hadn't noticed before, even meeting some slight magical winged beings they called fairies. Thank you for sharing this video and your garden. It was a trip down a path reminding me of old friends (books) and new delights. I hope you don't mind that I share the pleasures of your garden and kitties with you. If I do spot a sprite or two, I promise to share.

May be it The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett? I read this book to learn English. this garden could be a beautiful illustration of this book.
It's The Magic key written by Mary Francis, 1953. Google it, you might find it somewhere ❤️

I've been gardening my whole life,I followed my grandma around the garden as a small child and I'm now 57 I was fortunate my grandma lived to 103 and I now have my own business in Garden Matainence and Design, cant live without flowers in my garden,in my life,my garden makes me feel so happy and I know my grandma is with me all the time,I remember that same movie❤🦋🐞🌸🍀

Absolutely stunning garden. So peaceful and beautiful. Even though it is very natural and organic in its perfect cottage appeal, it is very well thought out. The David Austin roses are my favorites, such great choices. Love the kitties. Congratulations on creating a place of serenity. With gratitude for sharing. Your green thumb is a blessing. It would be nice to see in future videos how you clip from your garden and make floral arrangement to bring the outside in. Do you grow anything you dry and use for tea leaves / blend? That would be a nice practical addition. I watch this and just want to have afternoon tea in your garden and paint watercolors. So inspiriting.

And to keep my memories alive I plant flowers that reminds me of my childhood back home. And that makes me feel close to the one’s I left behind. I love wildflowers. The purple ones are my favorites. Oh, how my heart yearns for a beautiful garden and small country cottage. This would be my vision of heaven. Although my years have grown to a time toward the end of my journey I can still dream of my next journey of the sweet smells of Flowers, small streams with water bubbling over pebbles, and soft breezes that is my kind of heaven. @LostForest Thank you. My dad was a very keen gardener like your grandmother was. He could transplant one tree to another successfully. We had a lemon tree that grew mandarins as well. He also loved growing vegetables, especially tomatoes he would grow box loads. I personally love roses and I only grow the ones that have a scent. I feed them with eggshells and sometimes coffee. Your roses are huge and perfect. I love purple flowers too like Salvias and lavender. I also have a small elevated veggie garden. I grow mini tomatoes, Japanese pumpkins, that take over the whole backyard, spinach, herbs and zucchini. I am now in the process of growing a grapevine cutting that was originally from my dads grapevine.❤
