    As always, gentlemen, the reviews are wonderful, but the comedy sketches are on a whole different level. 10/10 fricheks

    THE STAND has so many scary moments. Another one that always stood out to me was when Stu (Gary Senise) is the last living survivor from his community in that lab room and the deranged sick doctor comes in ready to kill him. Horrifying!

    • @FrightfullyForgotten
      @FrightfullyForgotten  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes the lab room scenes especially when he's the only person left with the dad from Alf are great.

    I simply cannot believe you left out the vampire kids scratching at the window from Salem's Lot. No 1 on mine! ;)

    That Misery parody with the VCR. Lmao! Laughed way too hard.
    Awesome list. For some reason I think of that scene in Sleepwalkers where Charles murders his teacher on the side of the road and then eats him in the woods. That whole movie had the strangest, most bizarre feel to it, especially watching it as a very young kid, it was almost like a fever dream. I love when you guys do content like this. I still think you guys should review The TommyKnockers. It's not the best Stephen King film, but it's still campy fun IMO. Catch ya next week, guys!

    I love the dark drive in the snow storm, I don't think I ever saw it quite that way, but going forward I'll always think about how ominous that is! Great video guys!

    The worst part for me was that they used church music in Children of the Corn. I went to Lutheran schools and was exposed to church music 6 days a week! I was having flashbacks every time I heard it, so it took a long long time to get over as a kid. 😳

    • @FrightfullyForgotten

    I saw Salem's Lot when I was pretty young and that movie was terrifying. The scariest part was when the dude was in the hospital and the dead lady was becoming a vampire and he was making a cross with those things doctors stick in your mouth.

    "Zelda" is the scariest SK movie scene to me. Nightmare nuclear fuel that one. Fuck them for making her the same name as my favorite games. And Zelda Fitzgerald, the bastards!

    For me it was the scene where Danny's standing over Wendy with a knife in his hand, chanting "Redrum." Sounds like that should never come out of anyone, let alone a little kid. The first time I watched I was in a dark room with headphones on, and I dropped my laptop in the rush to turn on the light.

    The scene in IT where Stan gets locked in the house. When Pennywise starts slowly plunking down the stairs.
    My dumbass didn't realize he was the Mummy. I thought it was Pennywise, wrapped in dirty bandages. His battle damage from the sewer fight. Coming back to get Stan, as if he was taking one last shot. I didn't comprehend that was before they even went in the sewer. Anyways I still prefer it the way I always interpreted it.

    I find bedroom scene in The Shining creepy as well, but its because of what we didn't see. Most times when Jack talks to the hotel ghosts, a mirror is present in the scene. Kubrick makes sure we see the dresser mirror in that bedroom scene. That, and with how Jack is just sitting up when Danny enters the room always suggested to me that Jack was talking to a ghost and Danny interrupted it. Jacks words become even more haunting when you start to think someone else was just there telling Jack to harm Danny.

    • @FrightfullyForgotten
      @FrightfullyForgotten  หลายเดือนก่อน

      ah nice theory, didn't really think too much about Jack talking to the ghosts when no one was looking, but that makes sense.

    ARGH! A VRBO ad interrupted the hobbling of Adam! Curse you, TH-cam! Awesome video, guys! Yeah, those are all scary-ass moments. If I was going to add one from Kubrick's "The Shining", it would be when the ball rolls into the overhead shot of Danny playing with his cars on the carpet in the hallway. When he looks up and sees that no-one's there and nervously says "Mom?" (Shudder)
