Hi guys, I am Vietnamese and I have traveled around the country extensively. If you’re planning a trip to Vietnam, you’ll find all travel tips about where to stay, best things to do, weather on my website vietnamwherestay.com/where-to-stay-in-vietnam-best-places/
The weather is different between the north, central and south regions of Vietnam. North Vietnam has distinct winter and summer seasons while South and Central Vietnam have warm weather all year round. Tropical storms can occur in central Vietnam during the rainy season.
November is, in my experience, a great time to visit North Vietnam and South Vietnam. North Vietnam is entering a cool/cold month but dry weather is good for exploring. South Vietnam has warm weather and also the start of the dry season so rainfall is minimal. Good month to go to beaches like Phu Quoc in the South. Central Vietnam is still in the rainy season, tropical storms and flooding can occur during this month here, so always keep an eye on the weather forecast. It doesn't mean you shouldn't visit Central Vietnam during this month, you still have some sunny days for exploration, but update the weather forecast in case extreme weather can occur. You can check my article here vietnamwherestay.com/best-time-to-visit-vietnam-weather-by-month/ . I also wrote many articles about specific weather for each city on my website.
