One critique Swap papyrus costing 500 exp should not be a complaint, he is intended for new players, whenever i made him i tried to tailor him towards newer players, and at the end of the day no matter how much he costs people will have him. Also to answer the bugs, 99% of them just didn't happen in test place, im not sure if its something about lag, random chance, or roblox just hating us but if you really think we would see things like last breath just stalling the entire match and not fix it, something might be wrong... Other then that some points i can agree with, disbelief is still pretty powerful, though he will get a nerf soon enough
underswap papyrus costs is way to cheap for a charecter as strong as max killer or max lb sans, if they kept it 800 i wouldn't mind but they changed it to 500 which u can max him out in 12 games or less (Its nice they nerfed classic pretty hard but its deserved, and am waiting for the revenge/disbilief papyrus nerfs to come)
@@snowy_flakey5404 i think part of the issue is that killer and LB sans obide by OLD ULC balance and game design the new devs are kinda trying to change a ton of aspects of ulc and one of the big aspects i think people just...don't like is the grind to max characters. so i think they're making exp costs lower for their reworks as a result.
fun fact: on release, ALL hits with DT equipped gave you meter. that included coffin and snow ring, and even morphs. and multi-hit attacks gave 8 per hit. i got 6 revives in one match against disbelief phase 3 using koffin hat. this update was really cool

my greatest gripe is that the new sans feels like it's trying really hard to be UFS, between the visuals, dialogue (we have hardtale sans for a reason), and general gameplay style

Disbelief was even more broken before the rework, yall obv haven't been up against the old phase 3, cuz if u saw the 2 now. You would see that new phase 3 is alot better to fight. I never really got why people complain about new phase 3 so much lol.
tbh, sins of the past is the second biggest update, due to the fact that Empty Promises was a bigger Update due to the fact it literally changed the UI buffed some characters to be usable, changed and reworked characters. hell, the update created the most fun character that is hardtale.
the classic sans rework was so unnecessary bro. i didn't think he was TOO bad before, and there were other characters who needed reworks more than him. This was supposed to be sort of a 'Papyrus update 2', so why not rework FSE or TS!Paps?! the rework is really cool but i would rather it come later, to allow characters who desperately need reworks to come first.
Going back on the update I recommend using bone zone for classic sans as a offensive attack since it comes out fast it could be used as a offensive tool due to the fact it deals the most KR.
The problem is that it wasn't a nerf it just made it so there was a req for lives but you had theoretically inf lives especially with true knife and gloves
Heres my analysis to this update. Reworked characters: Sans: Sans is now a really complex character having a new mechanic and its really hard to master. He has some pretty unfair and busted moves like his counters and grabs that force you to take heavy dmg. Hes also the ultimate runner. Like bro has way too much movement. Bone crush, teleport, time dilation, force grab and every time he gets hit, he goes fast for a couple of seconds. It makes it a really long and ardious battle. Underswap Papyrus: Busted. I understand hes a starter character but its not fun starting the game to get absolutely DUNKED on because someone got 500 Exp and 30 wins. Thats so easy it took me 25 minutes to get Underswap phase 2. It has a lot of knockback moves that are really annoying and make me want to shoot myself. His counters really annoying. He has high defence, decent movement and annoying ass rage meter that melts your hp in seconds. Revenge: Very strong but isnt exactly unfair. His meter is very hard to get up and its easy to bait Revenges counter. I dont think he needs a nerf at all. Especially with that they did to my bois stamina regen. I think revenge is slightly unfair. Just slightly. As a pesron with 9K exp on revenge. Ive met my fair share of losses by skileld people knowing how to use my moves against me. Ill give you guys a few tips hoe to beat revenge: Bait his counter, attack when he throws his bone as he cant counter, keep him moving as he cant regen stamina at all when moving. In second phase, just survive. Revenge has 0 Stamina regen in phase 2 and can only get stamina by hitting his counter. So just survive until hes low and then go for the kill. (His counter costs no stamina so ne careful. He may be low but not out of options. Disbelief Papyrus: Broken as hell. Insane dmg. Hard to dodge attacks, cheap exp upgrades for what he is and is way too overused. His phase 1s blasters are literally so annoying and hitting them can give him and upgrade??? WHY? Its obvious hes gonna hit someone with his godzilla aromic breath blasters as they cover 50% OF THE DAMN CORRIDOR. Phase 1 also has the bone shield thats just annoying and makes the entire point of hitting the sans team impossible without losing yohr entire HP bar. Phase 2 is relatively fine except for 2 things. 1. His teleport. Bro is not goku, why can he teleport like every 10 seconds. Seriously Its not running simulator. Running from one end of the corridor to the other just for him to teleport again. 2. The blue blaster attacks that one shots yoy for moving a milimeter. Its dmg output is so high ive seen my HP go into the negative hundreds as i die. Like bro is too powerful. Except for that. Phase 2 isnt that bad. Phase 3 i think is pretty fun. A full heal, high hp as well. And cool and fun attacks. The ping pong section could do with a little work but thats it. I think there should be heals that spawn around the map every 30 seconds that heal for 25. Just cause His dmg output is insane. Also the undyne phase is... goofy. phase 4 actually might need a buff. Relatively easy to dodge and win against. Determination rework: Ass. Literal ass. Never cook again. Weapons reworks: Unpopular opinion but i loved it when weapons were simple and fun to use. Like spear and cleaver. Now spear is a literal exam of attacks and complicated stuff that i just cant use it anymore. Its fun to have complicated weapons too but with no simple weapons left. it gets hard to focus on attacking the sans instead of focusing on the 6 different mechanics on your weapon.
Honestly the new dt has 2 things i like about it. 1. You cant farm afk players and get double exp for the second life since they have to yknow PLAY THE GAME. 2. You have to actually work for the second life, and be a lot more careful when choosing when its the right time to attack instead of rushing like how it used to be before the rework...
also phase 4 is the one that needs global, as people literally do bone rows + bone colored wall and let me most of the time the jump glitches meaning you dont get the jump boost for the bone rows instead u are stuck with the normal one which means, you can't dodge, I just hope phase 4 is the one that gets a nerf, cuz literally disbelief phase 3 is actually balanced, just rush with DT and get a ranged weapon, like maybe killer knife or real knife cuz both literally make disbelief a joke.
The only thing i like about the Classic rework is final attack change It seem more fair And i like pre rework attack, their attack were like Canon UT sans attack pattern
fighting the new classic its way more fun than the old one honestly and atleast my hp doesnt get deleted because of the horrible battle mode (not complaining about the attacks being "hard", but that slower devices made your soul move AWFULLY slow and, well, it was just not fun at all)
Honestly I think most of this video was just you being overdramatic. Underswap papyrus is completely fine imo and I think you were just hating on him because you were hating on him. Me as a chara and max sans main, it is really not that hard to kill sans. Seriously his attacks are able to be dodged so easily. Disbelief papyrus cutscenes aren’t even 25 seconds long and his attacks are just blasters and not standing right in front of him. know i’m saying “not hard to dodge” too many times but seriously, I don’t understand what the issue is? Revenge papyrus has very predictable attacks too. There is literally white boxes to indicate where the attacks are going. Use your eyes. Determination is… interesting, to say the least. I don’t really understand what you were trying to say about it though. Personally I have never experienced any of the bugs you and your friends had in the uh.. 50 hours I have in the new update.
am bothered cause every server i join there is a 99% chance of a disbilief classic or underswap user in the server, revenge has his bone throw which is ez to aim and his color bones when reaching above 15% is really strong, and his counter automatically give u 10% so add it ontop, disbilief cutscenes are way longer, 1 minute with all the phases THAT U CANT SKIP, and about the determination is a cool rework, but they didt nerf/balancd the already strong charecters,, so its confirmed IMPOSSIBLE to win against, (lowtierfell used to be beatable now its borderline impossible, hardmode insanity, and the list goes on) and the bugs i listed were fixed pretty quick so thats a good thing

in hindsight i think the disbelief rework was rushed just to shut people up- i mean he even still uses the old blasters- and his attacks are mostly just...stronger versions of old attacks he used to have phase 4 and the mini phases for phase 3 are the only really fully new parts of it- i also think his big blasters in phase 1 is supposed to reference the phase 2 transition in the animation where he has 2 big blasters near him.
Another funny thing with the new blaster you need a graphics quality somehow around 3 or so Anything below that will make it so you can’t even see the blaster’s beam but they still can hit you
i like most of the points in this video but i have a few problems: 1. revenge isn't that good. it might just be your playstyle or the friend group you play with or your lack of knowledge on it since it is a new character but revenge is actually pretty dummy weak. dunno if this was just a problem that came out after this video was posted but problem no. 1 with revenge: stamina. even playing the most stamina efficient i can i always run out of stamina long long before i exhaust much of my hp. with normal stamina regen and some of the most stamina costing moves i have seen. you practically entirely rely on your counter in order to have stamina, yet even if you land every single one you're still going to run dry really fast. and the phase 2: since you didn't get to play with it much you don't seem to of realized it's problem. it's a defensive character with some of the worst stamina efficiency in the game that has 0 stamina regeneration other than the counter in it's 2nd phase. and again even if you land every counter this problem isn't gonna subside. if your opponent is playing at least somewhat careful, you just run outta stamina and die. and onto the bar, yes it has really strong attacks. but if you play against a chara team who is playing even somewhat carefully and not 0 braincell bum rushing you, you are not going to ever get that bar. and even against said careful slow team, hard focusing your stamina, you are still going to run out far too fast. even hitting the counter consistently you just aren't going to be able to maintain your bar unless someone eats an entire faceful of one of your bombs. and without your bar the character is pretty much useless against competent players, as someone who played the new revenge from upgrade 0 to max i can confidently say that placed in a lobby of a group of my friends or just people in general with the same skill level as me, i will be consistently be mollywhopped each round i play sans team even if they are using weapons they haven't before of which aren't any of the questionably balanced ones. i literally had someone who LOSES AS LOW TIER FELL CONSISTANTLY using dull knife solo me when i was playing revenge upgrade 2. and if you just say this is just a mattter of or lack of skill of me i openly welcome any session of gameage to prove i am indeed someone of atleast decent skill, (not in comparison to the average roblox/svc player because if i was decent by those standards i would be TRASH) anyways what else did i disaggree withhhh oh yeah i personally think swap aint that bad consistantly killable to me but that just might be my playstyle or choice of weaponry although the fading bone protect still doing dmg/launching even when it's practically invisible in phase 1 sucks i aggree and as for the tankiness of its phase 2: it isn't actually that tanky that's just the rage gimmick it gives him DR and rapidly drains over time he dies real fast when he runs out never really understood how it works or if you can get it back in any way but as soon as you learn that it aint that bad, like i executed one one time with killer knife at the start of its phase 2 and it barely did anything and that's when i learned for sure it was tied to the rage lol I personally like DT soul cause it somewhat counters people just ranging and lettign 2nd life carry then definitely feels like you earn it now. (although nerf it in combination with real knife holy moly) also more characters being usable is a better thing and i think that's just about everything i disagreed with, honestly classic sans rework shoulda been a hardmode rework and it woulda been fine like seriously why did they give NORMAL SANS like 2 mellee's and a high mobility moveset like holy moley it feels like they ripped him outta a fighting game why replace the character that actually felt like classic sans with some weird crap anyways as you can tell i like typing essays in youtube comment sections :3 but uh yeah that is my personal opinions and stuff, i like talking to people with differing opinions to mine so it will be very nice if you respond and stuff.

I mean, i enjoyed the update? Revebge got a fun rework and us paps got a fun rework, they are fun to play (hence the rework being fun), perserverance rework is fun, so i had fun. Yay.
also if you want a disbelief nerf, then nerf his phase 1 not 2 or 3 or 4, but maybe add a gobal cooldown for 4 but the point is, phase 1 is actually the strongest phase and phase 3 is the second strongest, im not kidding phase 4 is rushable, if people hit you, they will end your survival timer.
the dt nerf made it so that you can win as low wins characters but it also made it so things like lowtier are impossible to kill without dulls or spy knives unless they straight up throw. on one hand i actually think the dt nerf might be better for the game since it allows characters that wouldn't win otherwise to actually win. which gives new players a better experience. but they really needed to nerf some of the stronger characters to compensate- hopefully these issues get addressed with reworks and rebalances in the future. Edit: i think the reworks were balanced around OLD DT hence why they're so darn strong. still not a good look though since that means that they just didn't nerf the reworks when they decided to nerf dt-

Honestly, when I first played the update because the determination no one could get their second live. I thought I was back in the old time of ulc where dt players were hard to find
tbh, if disbelief gets the new blasters, he would be good enough but not busted, so let me tell you, NEVER NERF DISBELIEF, if he gets nerfed and then gets the new blasters he will become trash, his main damage dealer is his blasters.
Honestly, classic sans is kinda balanced, for a 0 upgrade character, he is worth his win count but not kuch, you barely will reach phase 2 as upgrade 0 undertale sans, and even then the upgrades cost a lot in terms of wins, like hell hard mode sans is 500 wins instead of 300 wins but now his upgrade 3 is literally 300 wins.
Us paps was pretty good but it felt like they could’ve done more with the alternate orange soul moves especially for phase 2 disbelief Literally can cause a timeout with just his first upgrade because there’s no block limit that how op he is revenge was just okay he’s the character I played the least or see bad time was just pretty cool I liked all the weapon rework (except for toy knife)
I believe that revege deserves a nerf in its damage but an improvement in its moveset, it depends a lot on its % because it is pure, even with upgrade 3 it is weak, its counter is fast so it is easy to launch a revege and it has no counter, And as I said, his attacks are predictable despite the high damage, they are predictable and his difficulty in gathering % is what makes it more difficult, I still never managed to go above 75% and I only got it for his 2 phase account, what makes it good is his % that makes it expand your predictable movements.. that's why every buff Joey mentioned on discord makes sense, and I'm valid for it in exchange for damage and being able to survive longer in the game, not to mention that its movements are expensive in terms of stamina, especially in the second phase as you don't regenerate stamina without a counter, it makes it balanced in this aspect

@@lozadae1 they can restrict but are easy to deal with, they end up never causing damage, the most damaging ones are bone thow and controlled bone attacks, with a new anti rush from papyrus coming and improvement in the way of acquiring the percentage would already help a lot
why's no one talking about chara? she has a small rework too, like it's almost nothing but it was also there, the dt soul now is always equipped for chara, and 3 slashes on second life
wasn't UT Chara always locked to dt soul anyways? most of the frisk morphs have been locked into DT SOUL on their final upgrades (excluding fell frisk and help_tale chara)
im pretty sure TSUS was legitimately buffed in the update, the blocks dont seem to take any stamina anymore (unless thats just me not realizing it takes stamina because im doing block combos) buff was deserved ngl

Note: Dunk is a melee and not a counter, revenge is near impossible to fill his bar now that people know how to fight him(he has no good range), killer and fse were always very strong, and everyone wanted a classic sans rework because stupid box attacks that are 50% of the fight.
yea dunk is a counter and not a meelee attack, revenge is still strong with his counter giving 10%, killer sans and fse AND ALL OTHER SANSES got stronger since the dt rework, and about box attack they could have just reworked it instead of reworking the whole charecter which surely took alot of effort not needed (ts papyrus deserves better🙏🙏🙏)

I think devs should keep two options for DT, like call old Dt as Weak Dt and new Dt as Strong Dt, first one allowing to come back at any time but just once and with same anim as 100% Dt and second one allowing to revive indefinitely as long as you fill up bar
i honestly think phase 3 disbelief needs the big bone zone nerf and phase 2 needs a buff so it isn't just an extra phase that mostly doesn't even last 30 seconds with all upgrades
ULC actually listened and nerfed disbelief and let me tell you, he is weak now, he can't even gain blocks back by using bone dash So it's sad since disbelief could've been balanced if they changed just the blasters.

Swap papyrus isn't overpowered imo. The bonerang tech is really strong but you get used to avoiding it while melee baiting isn't that hard if another person is left alive.
As someone who has played on low servers, they’re basically unplayable because it’s all swap pap or disbeef, the latter being basically impossible to kill in a low wins server
@@trevorragan2464 doesnt really matter since they are fucking themselves over playing already overpowered characters in low win servers instead of the weaker characters that basically rely on low win servers to get exp on consistantly early
There was one bug I had where I just turned lobby models off ONCE and when I tried to turn them on nothing happened. I also fell of the map in Genocide Sans’ map too, my only 2 complaints on the game.
tbh i got a bug while fighting a classic sans and my dt phase got activated, i did FREAKIN tp to another map and got flinged out of the map and died💀💀💀
the reason classic got a rework is because his battlebox attack is unbeatable if you're laggy (just classic sans btw) so it made it stupid hard for the even slightly laggy players to win against him
Let's remember how overpowered was Swap Papyrus before the rework at max and his max upgrade still didn't cost so much. The skins also would make you even more unkillable that you was if think so. + ofc never rush characters in ulc or every single other game. It won't end good for you. Talkin bout classic sans I feel like he's surely became way better than he was since the old one literally was getting carried by his box at😢tacks and the special mostly cuz of ppl lagging and stuff. Plus he feels way more fun to play than just average waiting till someone dies in box attack. Disbelief Papaya kinda understandable since if ppl knew your only tactic to win as old p1 you would be probably been dead. For now phase 1 surely became way more good char to play as. If disbeef user have max upgrade it's doesn't mean he will be overpowered. Since if you manage to beat p1 phase 2 will be skipped as fast as possible cuz stamina don't regen. Phase 3 well we beated it as Fell Frisk and Chara- ik ppl might have bad aim but let's just be honest. And the phase 4 probably very easy to dodge if think about it. So the Revenge Paps yea I would say that's he's one of the most if literally not the strongest character in the update but he's still beatable afterall. He's not something impossible let's agree with it. He got the rework he deserved and I'm happy for it. Dt rework maybe would case people to play as other souls too? And well the dt working thing probably would be made for people that can use it right and get 100% at the battle without dying before it. At least dt is not just free second life right? Gotta be honest I'm waited for that update so long and the fact is finally here I'm really happy now. Because the good char reworks which is mostly papyruses is surely what I'm wanted in ulc. Ik I'm can't argue with people opinion but I guess I'm just wasted someone's time for reading this lol. For me it's still will be the best ulc update besides every others updates that was released before. Man, I love ulc. tbh, revenge ain't busted, his 0 upgrade version is literally unable to actually get 1 singular kill, so if you have him maxed, then good job preparing for the update because nobody is gonna love getting EXP at revenge due to the fact, he is a literal hell to max. and the fact he is more boring, makes him mid.
Tbh the ulc updates are like part by part such as the 20 mil visits update we got 2 or 3 wepon reworks. They just give us the updates like it's a lego set. Ngl tho I'm fine with it
My only (main) disagreement with you is about Revenge, you're points really only matter when playing maxed Revenge, unupgraded Revenge is pretty bad, however, maxed Revenge does need a nerf, but besides that, good vid. (Oh, also quick edit) There probably was a vote to nerf/rework DT on the ADWS discord server, but tbh, the devs really shouldn't use ADWS to determine major balance changes as (from what i've seen) a whole lot of bad (or at least mediocre and unnecessary) balance changes get a majority ruling

The reason swap paps is tanky in second phase is because the rage bar gives dmg reduction so its best to attack a lot while the phase starts if you are paps and to wait if you'are chara
I mean nobody did ask for the classic sans rework but i think its great and fun. Glad they changed the final attack because even though i liked the box attack it just had problems that annoyed me so im glad its changed.

its a good update yeah, but bro's right. empty promises update was legit HYPE. It was so refreshing seeing so much new things and mechanics, along with a silly lil event boss fight that turned to a horror game. Absolute perfection, i haven't felt that happy ever since i played sans multiversal battles.
So many skins removed, DT made unviable, GOLDEN CLASSIC being removed, this update is so horrendous that I’m literally gonna start playing UFS, that’s when you KNOW the ulc devs messed up with an update. (also, they didn’t rework every Papyrus which doesn’t make sense?)
9:19 to be fair giving disbelief globals pre-rework really killed the character as you basically couldn’t attack after breathing once. I think nerfing it would be fine but if we have to resort to globals then they should be shorter than the preworks ones (seriously those had like a 15 second gcd)
Prework Disbelief only had global CDs on phase 3 bone zone and platform, which are reasonable, since you simply have minimal space amount, while getting obliterated with blaster spam

Removing (mostly) 2nd lives makes it so much more balenced. I too at first thought it would absolutely break the balancing. But instead fixed it. It allows the sans to actually win without going thru SIX lives (I know some character are broken and make it too ez to win. But that will prob be fixed later). I still win most of my games without the dt now. And dt being changed and others being buffed actually makes you want to use other souls than just dt.
Us Papyrus isn't tanky in phase two, he only has 680 hp and his defense comes from his rage and to counter that is quite literally just being patient, just stand around for about a minute and there ya go, he is easily killable.
Also how you gonna call The J more brain dead than having your screen flipped several times while being barraged with attacks that would otherwise be weaksauce only to STILL be hit with a bullet box that, on top of carrying the jank the bullet boxes already have, ALSO flip around your screen. I have certified no life and even with two lives and snow ring cheese I ain’t never catch a fully upgraded last breath lackin meanwhile I’m over here turning The J into the KYS and Disbeliefs into Disbandeds. I’ll take that 4 phase slog of a fight any day over having to block once more
I actually like that dt got reworked. The issue with it wasn't just that it was far better than the other souls, but it also just required no input from the player. You just had a second life. It's why I hope they rework other souls like bravery and integrity into more than just a stat change. Think of the perseverance rework. It went from a mediocre soul that gave some more s to a really interesting soul that actually required at least a little bit of input
Classic might be a little bit more fun to use, but they could’ve at least at least tried on the final attack like they did not need to buff it, but they do need to put more stuff into it instead of making it look like it was rushed almost as lazy as ufs
Disbelief is broken as hell bro. Especially since he can literally INFINITELY REGENERATE STAMINA purely by using blocks and sitting still. Cause he can OUTGEN the stamina drain. Plus you can do a special block called repel which can regenerate 12 STAMINA. The devs were on something when making Disbelief I swear
I personally liked the update, however the DT rework wasn't planned very well, it makes campier characters impossible to get lives off (Outer Sans, HM Insanity, etc). Which most players struggle to get 10 hits off (because the Sans USUALLY dies before it), and getting it with weapons like Asgore Trident and Glitched Pan is literally impossible (attack speed, and if you hit the Sans over 10 times with Glitched Pan your OBVIOUSLY doing something wrong). And Swap Paps really needs a price buff, he easily sweeps practically every team you can imagine (same with DB, but hes prob getting nerfed)
Me personally,stick rework is basically pre-rework real knife,which,I don't like a lot,sure old stick could be OVERPOWERED AS HELL,but,wasn't it easier to just nerf it,instead of turning it into something that isn't a stick?

Swap papyrus costing 500 exp should not be a complaint, he is intended for new players, whenever i made him i tried to tailor him towards newer players, and at the end of the day no matter how much he costs people will have him.
Also to answer the bugs, 99% of them just didn't happen in test place, im not sure if its something about lag, random chance, or roblox just hating us but if you really think we would see things like last breath just stalling the entire match and not fix it, something might be wrong...
Other then that some points i can agree with, disbelief is still pretty powerful, though he will get a nerf soon enough

tbh, sins of the past is the second biggest update, due to the fact that Empty Promises was a bigger Update due to the fact it literally changed the UI buffed some characters to be usable, changed and reworked characters.

the classic sans rework was so unnecessary bro. i didn't think he was TOO bad before, and there were other characters who needed reworks more than him. This was supposed to be sort of a 'Papyrus update 2', so why not rework FSE or TS!Paps?!
the rework is really cool but i would rather it come later, to allow characters who desperately need reworks to come first.
Classic 100% needed a rework, but other characters deserved it more.

Going back on the update I recommend using bone zone for classic sans as a offensive attack since it comes out fast it could be used as a offensive tool due to the fact it deals the most KR.
Honestly the dt nerf was needed, I want options with the souls not just one that is the best.
The problem is that it wasn't a nerf it just made it so there was a req for lives but you had theoretically inf lives especially with true knife and gloves

Heres my analysis to this update.
Reworked characters:
Sans: Sans is now a really complex character having a new mechanic and its really hard to master. He has some pretty unfair and busted moves like his counters and grabs that force you to take heavy dmg.
Hes also the ultimate runner. Like bro has way too much movement. Bone crush, teleport, time dilation, force grab and every time he gets hit, he goes fast for a couple of seconds. It makes it a really long and ardious battle.
Underswap Papyrus: Busted. I understand hes a starter character but its not fun starting the game to get absolutely DUNKED on because someone got 500 Exp and 30 wins. Thats so easy it took me 25 minutes to get Underswap phase 2.
It has a lot of knockback moves that are really annoying and make me want to shoot myself. His counters really annoying. He has high defence, decent movement and annoying ass rage meter that melts your hp in seconds.
Revenge: Very strong but isnt exactly unfair. His meter is very hard to get up and its easy to bait Revenges counter. I dont think he needs a nerf at all. Especially with that they did to my bois stamina regen.
I think revenge is slightly unfair. Just slightly. As a pesron with 9K exp on revenge. Ive met my fair share of losses by skileld people knowing how to use my moves against me. Ill give you guys a few tips hoe to beat revenge: Bait his counter, attack when he throws his bone as he cant counter, keep him moving as he cant regen stamina at all when moving.
In second phase, just survive. Revenge has 0 Stamina regen in phase 2 and can only get stamina by hitting his counter. So just survive until hes low and then go for the kill. (His counter costs no stamina so ne careful. He may be low but not out of options.
Disbelief Papyrus: Broken as hell. Insane dmg. Hard to dodge attacks, cheap exp upgrades for what he is and is way too overused.
His phase 1s blasters are literally so annoying and hitting them can give him and upgrade??? WHY? Its obvious hes gonna hit someone with his godzilla aromic breath blasters as they cover 50% OF THE DAMN CORRIDOR. Phase 1 also has the bone shield thats just annoying and makes the entire point of hitting the sans team impossible without losing yohr entire HP bar.
Phase 2 is relatively fine except for 2 things. 1. His teleport. Bro is not goku, why can he teleport like every 10 seconds. Seriously Its not running simulator. Running from one end of the corridor to the other just for him to teleport again. 2. The blue blaster attacks that one shots yoy for moving a milimeter. Its dmg output is so high ive seen my HP go into the negative hundreds as i die. Like bro is too powerful. Except for that. Phase 2 isnt that bad.
Phase 3 i think is pretty fun. A full heal, high hp as well. And cool and fun attacks. The ping pong section could do with a little work but thats it. I think there should be heals that spawn around the map every 30 seconds that heal for 25. Just cause His dmg output is insane.
Also the undyne phase is... goofy.
phase 4 actually might need a buff. Relatively easy to dodge and win against.
Determination rework: Ass. Literal ass. Never cook again.
Weapons reworks: Unpopular opinion but i loved it when weapons were simple and fun to use. Like spear and cleaver. Now spear is a literal exam of attacks and complicated stuff that i just cant use it anymore.
Its fun to have complicated weapons too but with no simple weapons left. it gets hard to focus on attacking the sans instead of focusing on the 6 different mechanics on your weapon.
About Stamina on p1.5 of revenge is, you can't regen stamina, and only can get it via counter, which gives 8± stamina

Wanna know something FUN? Phase 1 paps (without phase 2) can block infinitely with no CD. If ur good at stamina management, youre invincible.
Honestly the new dt has 2 things i like about it.
1. You cant farm afk players and get double exp for the second life since they have to yknow PLAY THE GAME.
2. You have to actually work for the second life, and be a lot more careful when choosing when its the right time to attack instead of rushing like how it used to be before the rework...
eeeeh on the other hand the dt bar filling up on encourages weapons like real knife that can do rapid M1s to rush.

am bothered cause every server i join there is a 99% chance of a disbilief classic or underswap user in the server, revenge has his bone throw which is ez to aim and his color bones when reaching above 15% is really strong, and his counter automatically give u 10% so add it ontop, disbilief cutscenes are way longer, 1 minute with all the phases THAT U CANT SKIP, and about the determination is a cool rework, but they didt nerf/balancd the already strong charecters,, so its confirmed IMPOSSIBLE to win against, (lowtierfell used to be beatable now its borderline impossible, hardmode insanity, and the list goes on) and the bugs i listed were fixed pretty quick so thats a good thing

in hindsight i think the disbelief rework was rushed just to shut people up-
i mean he even still uses the old blasters-
and his attacks are mostly just...stronger versions of old attacks he used to have
phase 4 and the mini phases for phase 3 are the only really fully new parts of it-
i also think his big blasters in phase 1 is supposed to reference the phase 2 transition in the animation where he has 2 big blasters near him.
Another funny thing with the new blaster you need a graphics quality somehow around 3 or so
Anything below that will make it so you can’t even see the blaster’s beam but they still can hit you
i like most of the points in this video but i have a few problems:
1. revenge isn't that good.
it might just be your playstyle or the friend group you play with or your lack of knowledge on it since it is a new character but revenge is actually pretty dummy weak. dunno if this was just a problem that came out after this video was posted but problem no. 1 with revenge: stamina. even playing the most stamina efficient i can i always run out of stamina long long before i exhaust much of my hp. with normal stamina regen and some of the most stamina costing moves i have seen. you practically entirely rely on your counter in order to have stamina, yet even if you land every single one you're still going to run dry really fast. and the phase 2: since you didn't get to play with it much you don't seem to of realized it's problem. it's a defensive character with some of the worst stamina efficiency in the game that has 0 stamina regeneration other than the counter in it's 2nd phase. and again even if you land every counter this problem isn't gonna subside. if your opponent is playing at least somewhat careful, you just run outta stamina and die. and onto the bar, yes it has really strong attacks. but if you play against a chara team who is playing even somewhat carefully and not 0 braincell bum rushing you, you are not going to ever get that bar. and even against said careful slow team, hard focusing your stamina, you are still going to run out far too fast. even hitting the counter consistently you just aren't going to be able to maintain your bar unless someone eats an entire faceful of one of your bombs. and without your bar the character is pretty much useless against competent players, as someone who played the new revenge from upgrade 0 to max i can confidently say that placed in a lobby of a group of my friends or just people in general with the same skill level as me, i will be consistently be mollywhopped each round i play sans team even if they are using weapons they haven't before of which aren't any of the questionably balanced ones. i literally had someone who LOSES AS LOW TIER FELL CONSISTANTLY using dull knife solo me when i was playing revenge upgrade 2.
and if you just say this is just a mattter of or lack of skill of me i openly welcome any session of gameage to prove i am indeed someone of atleast decent skill, (not in comparison to the average roblox/svc player because if i was decent by those standards i would be TRASH)

oh yeah i personally think swap aint that bad consistantly killable to me but that just might be my playstyle or choice of weaponry although the fading bone protect still doing dmg/launching even when it's practically invisible in phase 1 sucks i aggree and as for the tankiness of its phase 2: it isn't actually that tanky that's just the rage gimmick it gives him DR and rapidly drains over time he dies real fast when he runs out never really understood how it works or if you can get it back in any way but as soon as you learn that it aint that bad, like i executed one one time with killer knife at the start of its phase 2 and it barely did anything and that's when i learned for sure it was tied to the rage lol
I personally like DT soul cause it somewhat counters people just ranging and lettign 2nd life carry then definitely feels like you earn it now. (although nerf it in combination with real knife holy moly)
also more characters being usable is a better thing
and i think that's just about everything i disagreed with, honestly classic sans rework shoulda been a hardmode rework and it woulda been fine like seriously why did they give NORMAL SANS like 2 mellee's and a high mobility moveset like holy moley it feels like they ripped him outta a fighting game why replace the character that actually felt like classic sans with some weird crap
anyways as you can tell i like typing essays in youtube comment sections :3 but uh yeah that is my personal opinions and stuff, i like talking to people with differing opinions to mine so it will be very nice if you respond and stuff.

I mean, i enjoyed the update? Revebge got a fun rework and us paps got a fun rework, they are fun to play (hence the rework being fun), perserverance rework is fun, so i had fun. Yay.
also if you want a disbelief nerf, then nerf his phase 1 not 2 or 3 or 4, but maybe add a gobal cooldown for 4 but the point is, phase 1 is actually the strongest phase and phase 3 is the second strongest, im not kidding phase 4 is rushable, if people hit you, they will end your survival timer.
the dt nerf made it so that you can win as low wins characters
but it also made it so things like lowtier are impossible to kill without dulls or spy knives unless they straight up throw.
on one hand i actually think the dt nerf might be better for the game since it allows characters that wouldn't win otherwise to actually win. which gives new players a better experience.
but they really needed to nerf some of the stronger characters to compensate-
hopefully these issues get addressed with reworks and rebalances in the future.
Edit: i think the reworks were balanced around OLD DT hence why they're so darn strong.
still not a good look though since that means that they just didn't nerf the reworks when they decided to nerf dt-

Honestly, classic sans is kinda balanced, for a 0 upgrade character, he is worth his win count but not kuch, you barely will reach phase 2 as upgrade 0 undertale sans, and even then the upgrades cost a lot in terms of wins, like hell hard mode sans is 500 wins instead of 300 wins but now his upgrade 3 is literally 300 wins.
I swear the classic sans bug (in which he becomes budget flash) happened to me once in a server.
Us paps was pretty good but it felt like they could’ve done more with the alternate orange soul moves especially for phase 2 disbelief Literally can cause a timeout with just his first upgrade because there’s no block limit that how op he is revenge was just okay he’s the character I played the least or see bad time was just pretty cool I liked all the weapon rework (except for toy knife)
I believe that revege deserves a nerf in its damage but an improvement in its moveset, it depends a lot on its % because it is pure, even with upgrade 3 it is weak, its counter is fast so it is easy to launch a revege and it has no counter,
And as I said, his attacks are predictable despite the high damage, they are predictable and his difficulty in gathering % is what makes it more difficult, I still never managed to go above 75% and I only got it for his 2 phase account, what makes it good is his % that makes it expand your predictable movements.. that's why every buff Joey mentioned on discord makes sense,
and I'm valid for it in exchange for damage and being able to survive longer in the game, not to mention that its movements are expensive in terms of stamina, especially in the second phase as you don't regenerate stamina without a counter, it makes it balanced in this aspect

@@lozadae1 they can restrict but are easy to deal with, they end up never causing damage, the most damaging ones are bone thow and controlled bone attacks, with a new anti rush from papyrus coming and improvement in the way of acquiring the percentage would already help a lot

yea dunk is a counter and not a meelee attack, revenge is still strong with his counter giving 10%, killer sans and fse AND ALL OTHER SANSES got stronger since the dt rework, and about box attack they could have just reworked it instead of reworking the whole charecter which surely took alot of effort not needed (ts papyrus deserves better🙏🙏🙏)

I think devs should keep two options for DT, like call old Dt as Weak Dt and new Dt as Strong Dt, first one allowing to come back at any time but just once and with same anim as 100% Dt and second one allowing to revive indefinitely as long as you fill up bar

Swap papyrus isn't overpowered imo. The bonerang tech is really strong but you get used to avoiding it while melee baiting isn't that hard if another person is left alive.

As someone who has played on low servers, they’re basically unplayable because it’s all swap pap or disbeef, the latter being basically impossible to kill in a low wins server

There was one bug I had where I just turned lobby models off ONCE and when I tried to turn them on nothing happened. I also fell of the map in Genocide Sans’ map too, my only 2 complaints on the game.
Dont forget you can also cheese disbelief papyrus while your playing as him😞
tbh i got a bug while fighting a classic sans and my dt phase got activated, i did FREAKIN tp to another map and got flinged out of the map and died💀💀💀
I still dislike how laggy players can walk through my Horror!Sans spike surrounds and take no damage
the reason classic got a rework is because his battlebox attack is unbeatable if you're laggy (just classic sans btw) so it made it stupid hard for the even slightly laggy players to win against him

Talkin bout classic sans I feel like he's surely became way better than he was since the old one literally was getting carried by his box at😢tacks and the special mostly cuz of ppl lagging and stuff. Plus he feels way more fun to play than just average waiting till someone dies in box attack.
Disbelief Papaya kinda understandable since if ppl knew your only tactic to win as old p1 you would be probably been dead. For now phase 1 surely became way more good char to play as. If disbeef user have max upgrade it's doesn't mean he will be overpowered. Since if you manage to beat p1 phase 2 will be skipped as fast as possible cuz stamina don't regen. Phase 3 well we beated it as Fell Frisk and Chara- ik ppl might have bad aim but let's just be honest. And the phase 4 probably very easy to dodge if think about it.
So the Revenge Paps yea I would say that's he's one of the most if literally not the strongest character in the update but he's still beatable afterall. He's not something impossible let's agree with it. He got the rework he deserved and I'm happy for it.
Dt rework maybe would case people to play as other souls too? And well the dt working thing probably would be made for people that can use it right and get 100% at the battle without dying before it. At least dt is not just free second life right?
Gotta be honest I'm waited for that update so long and the fact is finally here I'm really happy now. Because the good char reworks which is mostly papyruses is surely what I'm wanted in ulc. Ik I'm can't argue with people opinion but I guess I'm just wasted someone's time for reading this lol. My only (main) disagreement with you is about Revenge, you're points really only matter when playing maxed Revenge, unupgraded Revenge is pretty bad, however, maxed Revenge does need a nerf, but besides that, good vid.

The reason swap paps is tanky in second phase is because the rage bar gives dmg reduction so its best to attack a lot while the phase starts if you are paps and to wait if you'are chara

its a good update yeah, but bro's right. empty promises update was legit HYPE. It was so refreshing seeing so much new things and mechanics, along with a silly lil event boss fight that turned to a horror game. Absolute perfection, i haven't felt that happy ever since i played sans multiversal battles.
The bugs made it all the more charming aswell, just joining into 3dbb sans's boss fight when there was no max playercount was hilarious

9:19 to be fair giving disbelief globals pre-rework really killed the character as you basically couldn’t attack after breathing once. I think nerfing it would be fine but if we have to resort to globals then they should be shorter than the preworks ones (seriously those had like a 15 second gcd)
Prework Disbelief only had global CDs on phase 3 bone zone and platform, which are reasonable, since you simply have minimal space amount, while getting obliterated with blaster spam

you forgot phase 2 cannot regain stamina (unless you counter) so when you use a move that stamina is permanently gone
Removing (mostly) 2nd lives makes it so much more balenced. I too at first thought it would absolutely break the balancing. But instead fixed it. It allows the sans to actually win without going thru SIX lives (I know some character are broken and make it too ez to win. But that will prob be fixed later). I still win most of my games without the dt now. And dt being changed and others being buffed actually makes you want to use other souls than just dt.
Us Papyrus isn't tanky in phase two, he only has 680 hp and his defense comes from his rage and to counter that is quite literally just being patient, just stand around for about a minute and there ya go, he is easily killable.
Disbelief Papyrus was busted as hell pre rework too tbh, phase 3 feels less agonizingly long in the rework tho
Also how you gonna call The J more brain dead than having your screen flipped several times while being barraged with attacks that would otherwise be weaksauce only to STILL be hit with a bullet box that, on top of carrying the jank the bullet boxes already have, ALSO flip around your screen.

I actually like that dt got reworked. The issue with it wasn't just that it was far better than the other souls, but it also just required no input from the player. You just had a second life. It's why I hope they rework other souls like bravery and integrity into more than just a stat change. Think of the perseverance rework. It went from a mediocre soul that gave some more s to a really interesting soul that actually required at least a little bit of input

Disbelief is broken as hell bro. Especially since he can literally INFINITELY REGENERATE STAMINA purely by using blocks and sitting still. Cause he can OUTGEN the stamina drain. Plus you can do a special block called repel which can regenerate 12 STAMINA. The devs were on something when making Disbelief I swear

I personally liked the update, however the DT rework wasn't planned very well, it makes campier characters impossible to get lives off (Outer Sans, HM Insanity, etc). Which most players struggle to get 10 hits off (because the Sans USUALLY dies before it), and getting it with weapons like Asgore Trident and Glitched Pan is literally impossible (attack speed, and if you hit the Sans over 10 times with Glitched Pan your OBVIOUSLY doing something wrong). And Swap Paps really needs a price buff, he easily sweeps practically every team you can imagine (same with DB, but hes prob getting nerfed)
tbh, UT sans wont be able to combo if there is more than 1 person.
