I wish DC's restrictions on guns would be lifted. Because it would be awesome if Mafex added a broken shotgun as an accessory so people can reenact that "These are the weapons of cowards" moment from TDKR.

I would really want to collect MAFEX figures which I can't afford but I still think Bruce Wayne aka Batman from The Dark Knight Returns comic looks so cool especially with those accessories and the horse base he comes despite not as being very articulated, Overall, Fantastic review Brad
I am still happy with the McFarlane build-a-horse wave and (perhaps by some miracle) I have had my horse posed standing (similar to the Mafex horse pose) WITH my McFarlane TDKR Batman figure riding on top of it for years at this point and it has not fallen once. Can't wait to hear a loud crash any day now that I have mentioned it.
I like it but I am disappointed that the horse is a statue I thought McF would make it a statue and Mafex would make it articulated but no it’s the opposite sooooooo I’m sticking with my McF. Great review👍

This is actually the wrong Batman for the horse *and* the battle damaged torso. The right one is the one with the black and grey with black emblem.
Agreed - wonder if the “bloody” torso can fit on the original black & gray batman mafex did

I think the horse is an improvement on the McFarlane Dark Knight Returns build- a-horse. But, I don’t see an improvement in the Mattel version and the McFarlane version of the Dark Knight Returns Batman. If the Dark Knight Returns Batman seems loose in your hands, he might become loose and fragile in our hands.

@@o_oo_o1812, I meant with easier access for Batman and better texture. The McFarlane Dark Knight Returns horse has better articulation, but articulation isn’t everything.
