Congrats on picking these up! Both are great figures and I love the gargoyle display - although personally I prefer the blue version because a) it more accurate to Jim Lee's art and b) it includes the Bruce Wayne head :)
Great review. The base is great but I don't think it makes the black Batman set deluxe over the blue, because the blue one comes with the Bruce Wayne headsculpt . Headsculpts are generally more expensive accessories to include because they require the most paint and QA.
That’s all true but I think both have their advantages over one another. Blue having the Bruce Wayne and kryptonite ring while black having the display stand and the traditional Batman color scheme. Honestly I prefer black purely for nostalgia, but I have no issue acknowledging Blue as the better figure overall.
I’m in the minority it seems but I MUCH prefer the black version, it’s my definitive look for the character pretty much. I’ve wanted it for years and I finally got one for a decent price. I’ve been debating getting the blue version but I’m just not into that look as much. Maybe some day tho. Great video, awesome Batman impression and the bits with the storm trooper were hilarious “littering is a crime 😡” 😂 (plus I see you’re also a wrestling fan so extra points) hope your channel gets more attention soon !
Yep. I don't like blue batsuits. Blue doesn't fit for his theme of vengeance and fear. Batman is supposed to represent the creature of night that makes criminals shit their pants. Blue just doesn't fit for this theme. Well i kinda like hush Batman's blue because it is very dark blackish midnight blue but blue Batsuits from 70's, 80's and 90's looked bad imo. My ideal Batman has black and grey colored batsuit.

For me personally, I love blue batman, he feels more heroic, like a true protector of gotham. Plus its accurate to the hush story 😉

Nah, Batman doesn't fit in with Marvel Legends any more than Superman does. The size between Mafex and ML is a bit off.
