This looks cool. I’ve added OEM features like Remote Start and a heated steering wheel to my truck that didn’t come with them from the factory. How will this affect programming based off of my VIN?
For that we would need to know ahead of time but as long as the order is notated then that should not be an issue to retain. If you want to send billing, shipping and Vin information to me at Taylor@infotainment.com I can set up an order that has the notes requested on it for you to pay and that will stay open for 30 days. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns at that email as well.
This is the OEM screen and APIM module. We did make that bezel portion but that was mainly for fitment in the vehicle. We wanted the vehicle to have access to the 12" screen with as easy of an install as possible. Fit, Finish, Function is very important to us.
@@Infotainment_navfordsync4 used a factory 12” oem screen and APIM, and they used a dash bezel from a 12” screen out of a super duty. Looks 10x cleaner than this.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We appreciate your feedback. I would just make sure you can reach out and see if it is even possible to speak to a live representative from their company on the phone. We have had a good amount of their customers reach out to us looking for a genuine quality solution after trying to return their products they purchased from them.
It will not. We made this bezel as that bezel for the 8" does not fit and the newer F-150 bezel does not work either. We want the 15-20 F-150 to have the latest and greatest equipment available as an option but we had limited options to make that happen without designing the bezel by hand ourselves.
Does the system still offer auto dimming like sync3? Also, I just applied a sync3 map update through Ford, how are the built in Nav maps managed and updated with the new console?
The map data lives in the APIM which is part of what is swapped with this upgrade. We provide the latest map updated available on this prior to the install so you will have the latest software on the unit when it arrives.
This is not available yet. We are working on this but we are still testing. Use this link and we will keep you updated. infotainment.com/product-live-interest-form/

Should have designed it to look like the fordsync4 kit. That’s a seamlessly integrated setup. This now looks like a maverick.

What about Fordpass and remote start functions? That seems to be the first to go with aftermarket units.
You would retain those factory features. Keep in mind that you are upgrading to actual OEM Ford parts.
Will it work in the factory 12inch display bezel instead of using the mounting bezel over the 8” as you did ?

Ordered! My cheapo wirelss cp adapter is way to wonky for me.
Glad we could help!
Shoutout to you guys for making this kit, are you in the works to try and make sync 4 work in an s550 mustang? Maybe with the 8in screen
Yes we are. You can sign up via our Product Request Form for updates:

Does this work for sync 2 system in a 2015 f150 platinum?
Yes.
Does the Raptor retain the "Ford Performance" splash screen? I saw you installed it on a Raptor but then video cut into F250.
You will not lose that as that will be programmed into the new unit.
When can we buy this for the expedition. I don't see it on the site yet.

What about 360 camera?? Haven’t seen that yet. Also I have a sync 2 truck with 8” screen can this work?
You will not lose it if you have it now but this unit will not add it into your vehicle. We do not have an option to add it at this time.
Ok thanks. Do you make this for the sync 2 systems with the 8” screen that have in my 2015 f150 platinum?
IN my opinion that looks like crap and messy, obscures access to the tray behind it and blocks vision out the front window. BAD DESIGN!
