    Top notch repair video Scott.
    Thanks for the tip for my weeping site window on my 440e. The Seal All worked perfectly. BTW did you get the pecan pie?

      Its a running joke between me and one of our rental equipment delivery drivers. He says he's going to town X and asks me if I need anything. I come up with stupid requests. He never brings anything back :-(

    Good one, nice banter with that other guy in the background 🤣

      Much of the banter isn't family friendly so it doesn't get included.

      @@TheGreasyShopRag Well, it's a blue-collar work environment, so no surprises there, heh.

    Thanks for the video. I’ve got a 550xp that gets flooded from pulling it even with no choke, it won’t start and after a few pulls fuel is dripping out of the muffler. The metering diaphragm is a bit stiff on one side, could swapping that out fix my issue?

      It sure could. Of course there are other possibilities but thats probably the most common.

    Nice 😀😊 Those are Pretty Good Saws 😀

      Except that they tend to leak a lot they seem to hold up well. Thats saying a lot because many of the people that own one aren't "chainsaw" people.

    Nice fix but did you get a pecan pie?

    Nice informative video as always. I have 3 saws, husky 242, 41 and a jonsered 2253 and they all leak bar oil when they sit. Is that normal? How much is too much?

      I have 3 jonsereds, a Husqvarna, an echo, and a Stihl. They all have an oil stain under them, some more than others. I think some oil is to be expected, however there's definitely such a thing as too much. Many times it's an oil feed tube that dislodges. Scott has at least one video on the subject that I know of.

      Thanks Tomas. I just found that clip where he used superglue. I’m gonna give it a go.

    What’s your opinion of the 400 series saws?

    • @TheGreasyShopRag
      @TheGreasyShopRag  ปีที่แล้ว

      The small ones like the 435 are good home owner saws. The 450 is a good all around saw. The 460 is a low budget bigger saw that I've seen start up tree services use. I'd say they are a good value.
