This masterpiece of a soundtrack is but one representation of what I call _tranquility_ and pure _nostalgia._ Marty O Donnell is a true born legend. Every track he created was purely perfect beyond measure, beyond words. He will forever carry and hold that honor, and to his tomb. And Halo will forever be a timeless masterpiece that I will forever love and appreciate, forever and ever, and even when I am in my grave and I am not aware of anything anymore, that love and appreciation will forever be there and so will too will Halo as well.
Gabriel Smythurst I only wish that 343 could find a composer who can create music as magnetic and memorable such as this. With a few solid exceptions from Halo 4.), despite the fact that the soundtrack fit that game, there waz never a sense of power to it. I don't _feel_ anything when my ears listen to the music - and Halo 5 is even worse with that (except for the iconic theme, and Dominion). I don't truly understand why or how Marty made the music so memorable. In his hands, Halo's music had rhythm, style, personality, originality, emotion, memorability, variety, and iconic appeal. How in the hell can _anyone_ top HIM? No one can, but I honestly wish someone could come close, because Halo's music isn't hitting the right notes with me anymore.
I love how you can hear the main halo theme in the chimes. It's Interesting. What I like from the halo series is that an element from one song can be found in a another
Played halo anniversary and felt that the new textures were to colorful and happy. The original art design for halo 1 was the best, I also like the architecture of halo 2's vastness a lot. They kinda fell off the path in halo 3 but halo 3's multiplier worked perfectly. I remember halo 2's awesome multiplayer as well but I also remember.... stand by.... stand by.... oh look there is a hacker, Oh cool you got the halo ring your a level 50 hacker, cool!
Sorry for the late response. The music reminded me of the level where you have to fly around in a Banshee in order to destroy 3 pulse generators. I believe that the level was Two Betrayals.
BlueEyedSaiyan Such a fun level. Playing that entire map backwards. And at night. With the flood and covinent fighting eachother. A very memorable mission of my entire life.
Takes me back to the good old days of Halo

Toby Triggerson I completely agree. Halo is so interesting, legendary, epic and amazing it will stay with me for all my life in my heart

This music should play quietly in the background while you're in Halos forge mode.
Joshua Smith my god.....................yes
You're a fucking genius
Oh my lord...
Esatto, peccato che la Bungie NON l'abbia messa in OGNI gioco Halo

Once you realize every song in a soundtrack or movie is a repetition of the theme, you can no longer unhearit.
I don't care if it is 15 minutes long. I'll still put it on loop!

true halo 3 architecture was more brassy and stone while halo 2 was more stone with silver metal and halo CE was a lot more steel/ silver like .
Simply, beautiful and mineral-pure-angelic!
Master Chief is love, Master Chief is life...
So much Nostalgia 😭❤️
This is bloody wonderful. Favourite bit of music from this game, chilled out as fuck.
Takes me back.
Thanks for this. The replay button has been spared lol
Wonderful.
everyone close your eyes and think you're in space

Space is fake

Derek Bray I agree whole heartily
It's a fun mission unless your playing on legendary, then those Flood with the Rocket Launchers make it miserable at some points.
@@BlueEyedSaiyan yea it's two betrayals. Best level in CE, the game holds nothing back at that point
They try and try yet they can never top the original.
Why?
