Autismo 2 years late but to clear things up Master Chief actually did try and kill Truth in the 2 weeks between Halo 2 and Halo 3. But the assassination was foiled by a godamn jackal sniper.
The music is designed to make you feel energized so you are pumped up and willing to go against the flood and covenant threat. Why do you think you are so pumped thought this mission? This goes for ALL halo songs. Except Halo 4 and 5 of course... That composer just doesn't know how to replicate this. Honestly, Irecommend trying to listen to the full Halo 2 OST while doing... really anything... and you can see how much faster you get things done or how much better you get things done.
1, 2, and 3 were all masterpieces. As a kid, 3 was my favorite. Looking back though, Halo 2 is probably one of the greatest console games ever made. Freaking 10/10 in every way!

I remember when I first started to actually listen to the Halo 2 soundtrack about three years ago in high school when I kept reading Halo novels one after the other with Marty's music in the background. Man did I love working to High Charity in the background. Especially this part, it was my personal favorite. Whenever this came up, I head to stop what I was doing and just listen to the last couple minutes, being absolutely blown away by it. I always wished it were longer, and now I finally found it. This is why the internet is amazing; it's a haven for unrecognized gems. I can imagine these videos/clips still being in the archives 50 or 100 years from now and me showing my family/descendants musical relics like these, haha

If you are able to actually look at the skybox for the level Cortana on Halo 3, believe it or not, it's the rest of high charity. It's the skybox you see in halo2 except without the forerunner ship and it's infected.

I love this one and "Epilogue" which was the original credit song at the very end of Halo 2. It had that awesome guitar riff at the beginning and it gives me chills listening to it. This is some great work, keep it up!
I love Truth's voice on the intercom during this mission. I got hyped when he talked to the Gravemind, and everyone in High Charity could just casually hear those two speak. Too bad Michael Wincott didn't return for Halo 3. :(

We need a horror game where we play as a marine or Elite trying to escape High Charity while it’s been completely consumed by the flood, now that would be a horror game, no weapons either. Maybe you run into the rare marine or covenant member. But most of the game is you running/hiding from The Flood

Halo 2 and 3 are basically one arc with no break. In terms of story halo 3 feeds on the ground work provided by halo 2. Thats why for me halo 2 will always be the better campaign. Not that halo 3 is bad but i would have liked to play as an elite during campaign instead of having the arbiter following around like a bitch.

Bungee accidentally used his likeness in an ad and they had only gotten the OG actor due to an exclusive deal where he could not be used in an ad… after that breach he refused to work he thought bungle did it on purpose like some corporate rug pulll but it was just bungee making something last minute and not checking it
