Everything Wrong With CinemaSins: Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim is pretty cool. No notes. Except that CinemaSins made some weird criticisms.
Disclaimer: I don't have much ill will towards CinemaSins, I just want to point out the many mistakes they've made in their videos.

9:00 The EMP producing organ was also ripped out of Leatherback at the start of the fight
9:40 The sword also causes too much blood to splatter, which considering that Kaiju blood is highly toxic was probably the reason they used it as a last resort

Sin 27: The movie actually addresses this. Gypsy Danger has a nuclear reactor powering its systems. Ergo, Leatherback’s EMP wouldn’t work on it.

The reason why they don't just use cannons is because it would just be relayed through the Precursor hivemind and the Precursors would create Kaiju that render the cannons moot.

Yes, cannons WOULD habe been the thing to go for and YES, that would have made the movie not exists, but building walls never made sense... I mean, if you give the enemy ALL OF THE SEAS then you wouldn't be able to fish, send stuff across etc, and eventually they would just crawl over each other to get over your fancy walls... maybe wall off the breach instead? Yes, it wouldn't be easy that far down, but we have fucking Mechs :=)

I only disagree with 2 counter points made in this video.
1st, The reason Leatherback wouldn't try and use it's EMP on Gipsy Danger wasn't just because it needed some time to charge. It was also because it DID try to use it, but Gipsy ripped out it's EMP organ at the beginning of the confrontation. Thus, the problem was solved.
2nd, About Raleigh not knowing about the Chain-Sword. I have to give it to Cinemasins here, it doesn't make any sense. Vader says it's because there was no time or need for someone to tell Raleigh before the first moment they use it on Otachi, but that's just impossible.
From the moment Raleigh met Mako and reunited with Tendo Choi, either of them could've mentioned the new features added to Gipsy.
And as for the need, well...they've added a new weapon that the experienced former pilot of the jaeger didn't have previously. Seems logical that someone would feel like letting him know about it earlier. It's like giving a driver a new car and not telling them it's electric-powered instead of Gas-powered.

Also, I used to watch Birdman all the time but lately he seems to go out of his way to engagement bait his audience (with random, unrelated religious or political statements) and it has gotten so obnoxious that I don't even watch if there is a high likelihood that he will make those "observations"
Because especially when it comes to Christianity, he just makes the most juvenile swipes then when challenged he just acts like a jerk. Like if you want to have a meaningful discussion, cool, but just stirring the pot then when someone tries to be genuine it is "just a prank, bro"
