@@tacticalcowboy01 Your like a woman that can't make up her mind! First its no comp and now its comp. You go from standard height mount on an AR 15 to a high height mount and then back to a standard height mount. I think your confusing the LARPER's that watch your short bus content!
Very nice! I'm looking at some Gen 3 17's right now..... they've been calling my name. I run a 19 gen 3 as my edc work horse. Stock internals and controls, TLR7 Flex, undercuts and filed off the grooves then wrapped with goon tape, reptilia magwell, and Wager Works RMR slide cut and burnt bronze cerakote (highly recommend Wager Machine Works for slide mods). Finally at the 4k round mark for 2024 burnt bronze slide looks good with some wear marks.
Always like seeing someone run a stock Glock trigger. The two 19's I had, I never swapped out the trigger. Took some getting used to but they shot great.
Only thing I am hesitant on is running comps on carry guns. All the barrel-mounted comps I've tried seem to require some inherent modification of the host (recoil spring) or ammo specificity to be mostly reliable. For most EDC, when ammo is plentiful, not a concern, but if for some reason the specific ammo required by your setup isn't readily available, you could be left with reliability issues. Comped slides seem to be more reliable and less ammo-specific in my experience.
I run almost the EXACT same setup but I am running Trijicon suppressor height sights and have extended controls as well as a tungsten guide rod internally but everything else we have the same. A++ build
If you want your comp to run with more ammo, change out the recoil spring. I love sprinco springs. Had to mess with mine. Now it runs 115-147gr with no issues.
I got a PSA dagger with a forward facing rear sight. I think that's what it's called. Regardless...it puts the rear sight in front of the optic. I haven't shot it with an optic but a few rounds with the irons, no adjustments, and they were good. Put the optic on and the dot was surprisingly close to the irons out of the box.
Nice rig bro , I gotta Glock 45 all natural 🤙🤙🤙!!!! Except for the kkm barrel and comp and the stippling and. The SLR mag well and the Kagwerks slide release , but that’s it😁🤙🤙🤙!!!!!!

I am an old retired Army CID Agent. I am pretty sure that I have been shooting longer than you have, but not [more] than you have. I didn’t get into recreational shooting until I was in my 60s. I don’t think so. That is phenomenal shooting in my opinion. As for your gun, you do you. Great video.

EPIC FAIL but with good intent. For some questions: Does the 17 with the PMM dual port fit a 34 holster? Especially hard use kit with retention like the Safariland? Especially since you are playing off the Ranger TAB. Is engaging targets at 100 yards with a pistol truly relevant? Porting and comps have minimal affect on close accuracy but create a velocity loss. Thinking a Bill Drill that was timed @ 10 and then @ 25. Obviously showing the target live to validate on camera to promote a comp on a kit video. Details matter to combat arms soldiers. Not knowing the model of your RMR to share 🔴 size was weak.
@@tacticalcowboy01 - Maybe relevant to you - But only for marksmanship and possibly for fun. You are correct on being doable.
