Lisa, could you also do a tutorial on how to choose blush color. Additionally, I find choosing lipstick from the drugstore to be a big challenge, because there aren't testers to swipe on the hand (unless something is awful, I feel too guilty returning an item). Supposedly there are some nice lip products at the drugstore, any recommendations on how to choose color without testing? I'd love to hear what are you 12 favorite makeup products. Lastly, your skin is STUNNING, I'd love to hear your skin care routine, and what products you use.

OUTSTANDING. You are a born teacher and make it so easy to understand. Can;t wait for more Training Secrets. I love that you recommend products also. That is a huge help because I can buy the right product immediately instead of wandering around and buying products that don't work (and wasting money). Thank you.

Love these videos Lisa and looking forward to the information on makeup brushes. I have a vast selection of brushes but find that I only use a few of them. Would also like your opinion on purchasing sets of brushes that may be less expensive in the long run as opposed to purchasing single brushes that are sometimes more expensive. Brushes can definitely be a major investment to a makeup collection.

    • @lisajmakeup

I absolutely LOVE this series!!! This video was so helpful and informative!! I love the next video idea all about brushes! I get so confused when looking at brushes online. And I have no idea the differences between all of the different blending brushes, for example - tapered vs not tapered, natural hair vs synthetic, etc. It can be so overwhelming to know what to get and they don’t really explain it well in the online shops. But brushes make such a difference to makeup application!!! I would also love to learn about cut creases. How to do them. The different types. And which ones suit which eye shape. Thank you so much for this amazing content, Lisa!!! 😘💖💕

The tip to go from the top of the eye and out and then connect the lines from the corner of your eye and up is amazing! You always see everyone following their eye with the liner all the way to the outter corner of the eye, then "flicking" the liner up. And then connecting to the highest point of the eye at the middle. I love the way you said to do it instead! Your way seems so much easier!! Thanks for that tip!! :-)

This will be my favorite of ALL series, across TH-cam. So very needed, & so very helpful, & you’re a good teacher. Of course, one of my main requests would be anything targeting issues of those of us “of the certain age” group, especially eye makeup. Also, foundations, undereye coverage/fine lines, powders, blush, & highlighter. Every year I find these to have become a bit more difficult to get just right. Example: Too matte really accentuates lines (& pores), but some setting powder seems necessary. And, I have very little real estate safe to highlight, but I need a bit of highlight, or I really look bleak. Oh, the woes of aging, lol. Again, Thank you so very much for this series! I loved this video, & look forward to the brush video! 💖✨💖✨🤠

Amazing information once again. Really love your teaching style! With the brush lesson I would prefer it to be broken into separate chunks like face or base then eye's in another session. Lately I've seen a few brush tutorials and by the end I've feel like I've forgotten about the face brushes in the beginning plus it's information overload as it might be 20-30 brushes mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to much such great content 💖

This is the 2nd video of yours that I've seen, and you blow me away! Your videos are accessible due to your calm presence, they way you break a process down step-by-step, and you anticipate questions that most viewers would ask. I look forward to watching more of your work. I'm excited for your brush video! Here's a question, when buying brushes online, what should we look out for? For ex: if I want to get a brush for loose powder, with several to choose from even just from one site, beyond the consideration of price, how do you know which to choose? I've heard Morphie, Sigma, and Real Techniques have good brushes, do you have any favorite stores or brands other then MAC? :-) Any advice you have to offer, would be a blessing! I'm grateful for the time, energy, and enthusiasm that you share with us. Thank you!! :-)

So helpful. Thank you. I find it’s easier to try the mini wing in pencil first as it’s easier and more forgiving than liquid. Easier to correct to. I have given up with gel as they dry out so quickly and I’ve thrown away so many. X

Hi Lisa! So glad you made this a series! What are your thoughts on very heavy hooded small almond eyes? Very limited and sometimes non-viewable eyelids? My goal is to make my eyes look bigger and not so downturned. Thank you so much! Looking forward to brushes! ♥

Lisa, would you please do a video about your lash extensions. I’ve been thinking about trying them out simply because I don’t enjoy putting mascara on, but I’m not sure if I want to make the jump. I’d love to hear your pros and cons and why you recently removed them? Just to take a break or having a problem? Any info you could share would be awesome! Thanks!

Judi Craig They look amazing to begin, but they are a pain to work around, and they look patchy and awkward as they fall out. Try a lash lift instead.

I’ve had extensions for 3 years. Maintenance is key. Fills are needed, at the most, every three weeks. There is a learning curve to applying eye makeup. I love being able to wake up, shower, brush them and go! They give a very dramatic look to the eye. I still love them! As with any makeup, it’s a matter of personal preference. Any questions, feel free to ask. 😊

Hi Judi! I had them for years and I really did love them. Ultimately I took them off bc I have very bad dry eye, and while the lashes arent the cause of it, it did make it more difficult to treat my eyes the way my dr told me I should. It is pretty difficult to keep them as clean as your natural lashes since you can't scrub them so debri builds up and for someone with dry eye, it can be very irritating. Pros are they are beautiful, open up the eyes, saves so much time each day because you really don't even need eye makeup with them (I of course do bc I do TH-cam but on "off" days I would usually skip all eye makeup. The cons are they are a lot of upkeep... I had an hour long appt every 2 weeks on the dot to maintain them. You could prob stretch it to 3 if you aren't hard on your lashes but because I wear so much eye makeup , I needed to stick to 2 weeks because they would shed

Thank you for sharing your expertise! I love makeup and I love doing makeup on myself and others when I’m asked. I’ve never thought winged liner looked right on me, but I’ve tried the baby wing a few times. It’s still a challenge. I love the PF Eye Booster Liner Pen. I have it in both black and brown. Love the video! Keep them coming!

Another great job, Lisa! I look forward to a facial region focused brush tutorial or two! Especially eye brushes. Also, a tutorial on blush for various face shapes. My cheekbones are high and I feel like most tutorials are for creating cheekbones, but I already have them. Where does my blush/bronzer go?!! 🤦‍♀️

Yes - brushes - high end and affordable. I prefer individual to sets because I have quite a few but some I would like to upgrade and some I just use because I want to get my money's worth. I don't care for brushes on both ends - where do I put them?? Love this series !

Infor for a more youthful look but not over done for us over 50 gals!! eyebrow shape is a struggle and the right color. Love and hugs❤️❤️😍
