The greatest leader India has seen in 100 years is Subhash Chandra Bose..
Selfless, bold, clear in his vision, Nationalism in blood, No greed of power just wanted his motherland free from all those plundering done by the Brits, A vision of seeing his countrymen becoming the decider of their fortunes

Undoubtedly Netaji Subhas is best leader in last 100 years
In last 1000 years some names -
      Chandragupta Maurya
      Maharana Pratap
      Maharaja Suheldev
      Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
      Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose
Savarkar is better than likes of Nehru, Jinnah ...Bt still he was only good for Hindus, he was not seeing the bigger picture, Bose had better knowledge of foreign policy and geopolitics, Savarkar himself said that India got Independence due to Netaji Bose (by the way you should also know that Bose as Gumnami baba had secret connection with Guru Golvalkar)

@Abhigyan Tiwari Bharata in Gita is often refered to "decendants". You'd see Krishna using that word to refer Arjuna. and ALso Sanjay using that word to Dhritrahtra. (random side note : I was just reading the section yesterday...)

Subhas Bose was a good leader. The Bhagvad Gita example though was not very accurate, with 'Bharata', Lord Krishna is addressing Arjuna as 'O descendant of Bharat'. But the essence of the video - true leader means unconditional service to his people was very correct. The 'vishva guru' syndrome (of people like MK Gandhi) is a narcissist tendency and has nothing to do with public welfare.

@@paradigmshift108 Well I didnt imply that Krishna is wrong, you might read the comment again. Ive seen Bharata interpreted as 'the earth' in some translations, but in the bonafied ones, it has been translated as 'o decendent of Bharat' as an address to Arjuna. Also if you use some common sense, 'Bhagwan' doesnt just appear on this planet(earth) but also at other places (eg Meena Avtara or Kurma Avtara didn appear on the earth) so interpreting it as 'the earth' limits the scope of the shloka ...

@@praz7 Partially agree and I'll tell you why I think so. Leaders can only be elected or appointed by people. There is a saying, "people always get the leader they deserve", and I agree with that. Look at Bharat's leaders in the past few decades: Nehru, Indira, Rajiv, Sonia (by proxy). Who do you think is responsible for that? The people who elected them. We must take 100% responsibility for our actions; only then will we become powerful individuals who make a positive contribution to our motherland.

An intellect such as Abhijit Chavda was something I was looking forward to for the past 2 years, I'm finally brought to light to this great man who refers Mohandas as 'Mr. Gandhi' and retains himself to say the title which was given by Mahakavi Rabindranath Tagore.
I'm so glad you are educating the general mindset of the people. I am hoping that more people like you emerges out on TH-cam and educate even more people. Thank you Chavda, you're personally my favourite Teacher, Livestreamer, Podcast host, interviewee and TH-camr
