- This is the SSC Tuatara. This car could be the first in the world to break the 300mph record for a street legal production vehicle. This will be attempted in the coming few months. Either way, they want to take back the title for World's Fastest Car from Koenigsegg who currently hold the title with the Agera RS. To their credit, they have already once achieved the Guinness World Record in 2007 with the previous model, called the Ultimate Aero!

To clarify things:
The Koenigsegg Agera Rs is currently the official world record holder of the fastest production car. However the new Bugatti Chiron Super Sport (long tail chiron) did go faster on their test run, going 304.77mph The car is a modified chiron, however there are 30 in total going into the market so it will be a production car. It didn't go both directions on the speed test due to safety concerns and therefore its speed run doesn't count as official. The first road legal car to reach 300mph is the heavily modified 2005 Ford GT built by M2K (which reached 300.4mph in only one mile) however there is only one so it isn't a production car.
The Koenigsegg Jesko is predicted to beat the Chiron SS and the car shown in this video may as well since Bugatti have stepped down from attempting to become the world's fastest.
Many cars go much, much faster than all of these eg. the thrust SSC however they aren't road legal at all. The Bloodhound which is still undergoing tests is thought to become the world's fastest car ever.

Not a modified chiron, its a spec. It's like a jeep cherokee limited as compared to a jeep cherokee. It's the same car, and it's being sold in over 500 units, so its a production car even if it wasn't just a spec. The Agera RS holds the GUINESS world record, which is totally arbitrary because they're the only company that has done so. Koeningsegg paying for a reviewer to fly to a test road to confirm that the car can do something we already know it can do means nothing. Not going both ways doesn't make it unofficial. Mentioning the modified Ford GT is ridiculous, as that is a tuner car, not a spec option or edition, so it breaking the record is nonsense by all means. Koenigsegg Jesko speculation just shows how much of a fool you are. Speculation means nothing. I can speculate all I want that a corrola with a hybrid fuel rocket engine can break the 400 mph barrier, does anyone give a damn? NO. It's speculation. The bloodhound SSC has already been tested and only reaches 300MPH. It's crashed multiple times and caused the death of one of its drivers. The thrust SSC is literally a grounded aircraft with five wheels and an airtight cockpit. Your entire comment is FILLED to the brim with flaws and faulty thinking. I suggest you delete it or run a correction.

The visibility is provided by cameras so there is nothing wrong with that statement, if you use the rear view mirror it provides you with really good visibility all around the car. I see a recurring theme in her comments sections of people trying to make it look like she has no idea what she is talking about but quiet clearly they need to get a clue themselves.

The SSC Tuatara’s curb weight is actually 1,247 Kilograms, you said 1,347 KG. You are right about the 1750 Horsepower, that is equivalent to 1305 Kilowatts. It has 1341 lbs feet of torque, or 1,819 Newton Meters. 331 MPH is the magic number for its top speed.

It is definitely possible, especially if you take into account what their first car model did with just around 1100hp. The Tuatara has 600 more hp, weighs less and has a smaller coefficient to drag, .279
They have everything they need for a run of 300mph or more. Just need a quality road now.
