@@U2binator True, but 316 MPH was the average speed. And the top speed was 331 MPH. And the car could have possibly went faster with more track. But I still agree Koenigsegg will get a higher top speed.

However since 6th gear as we can see is that long and SSC said the redline is 8000+ rpm, as shown in top gear video, the driver shifted to 6th at around 235mph, so let's assume at 240 it revs at between 4000-4500 rpm, and on to 331 mph at estimated 6000-7000rpm. So, i guess if this thing idles at 1000-1300 rpm then at 6th it will cruise at 100-130mph already, under 2000 rpm.
Let's just see if tire manufacturers can supply production tires for 350+ mph.

Except the wind blew the car two lanes over into the rumble strip during the run before getting back on the road. It’s flying like a jet so why doesn’t this thing have Wings to fly itself down the road and keep it centered in the lane for assistance. Even a Tesla can keep itself in the lane at full speed no matter what. Traction control isn’t enough at these speeds.

It's going to show how much of a jump in technology you can still do, even though it's harder every time. It was quite a Journey... from 2010? till now! Glad this awesome car is finally ready for the road! I still have the "Top Gear Supercars Book" from 2011 with this car inside! What a car!😎
If I am not wrong, the first concept picture of this cat i first saw was 2011 which was then futuristic but assumed abandoned project after few years of not having heard of. Even now, this car looks like a modern day hyper car and a beautiful one. Don't have the money to even dream of buying one but it feels good to see one nice beast born!
Today this beast done something that shocked many people especially petrol heads and team of certain hypercars somehow involved in this top speed race.
I wondering will the price of bugatti chiron supersport 300 will depreciate in value for those owners.
I love bugatti but not the current way they produce cars by changing certain parts and tuning then limited to certain units using its own reason,; not to mention the original car(chiron), chiron sport, then came out limited units of 40 cars which only certain people who owned the chiron are eligible to buy. The focus are performance, better handling, aerodynamic works and lightening. Wow looks cool and sounds like a must to buy for those super super rich.. Then maybe many others being neglected, so produce chiron pur sport which is more track focus than the divo also limited untis of 60 cars. Sounds fair?
Not to mention another 2 models, the centodieci and la voiture noire.. These are more rare when u paid more than 7m for 2 cars, chiron and divo and yet something cheaper outperform divo😂
Supersport 300 is kinda non sense, having modified a car without production of the supersport 300 prior to the test of breaking 300mph and without doing a 2 way failing to register in guineas World record due to unsafe track condition. Why then both veyron, veyron supersport and one open top(forgotten the car model name) were able to do a 2 way at that point of time. Worse every car of chiron 300, top speed being limited for safety reasons. 😂😂. Based on one particular car doing one single lap, production starts building the same outlook and claimed as the same(chiron supersport 300). So those people whom already purchased, I don't know how they feel paying extra compared to stock chiron and its way uglier than all models made out of chiron and included the chiron. Don't forget the current president whom he was,. The person who was lambo ceo, making the veno out of aventador to limited 3 coupe cost a fortune, the huracan performante breaking record of 2 incredible hypercars, mclaren p1 and porsche 918 spyder.. I try to accept the fact in a fiction way.
Now full electric car developing but heard no need much of development, just create an outlook for it and enjinered the aero or whatever dynamic, comestic issues... Rimac C2.
