    You should use the neon rope desk lights for something other than the desk too I feel like the perfect diffused strip has so much potential to be used on everything you could use it on walls and stuff too and not have to worry about setting up a channel diffuser

      I agree. I currently still have it on my desk but only really turn it on when filming. I plan to repurpose it for maybe slat wall panels. You're right, this light has way more creative potential than just wrapping it around your desk.

    I was thinking about getting this but I kinda had a feeling my 5 year old would just keep touching and pulling the light until it wouldnt even wanna stick anymore lol. great video once again bro. U have so many diff lights. do you use all of them on when your in your room?

      🤣🤣😂 I can see a kid like oh this is cool and want to touch it. Thanks bro. Most of the time on the side of the room lights I am using so gaming desk or main desk. Sometimes I do them them on especially if I’m making videos

    When you cut them, do you make the cut on the dots on the back and just slap the cap back on?

    • @WilliamNevius
      @WilliamNevius  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, only cut at the indicated cutting and connect the additional piece to close it if you cut outside of that the LEDs won’t work properly. It’s super easy I believe Govee has a TH-cam video demonstrating that task.

    Great video. @3:32 you show the thickness one way but what is the thickness of the actual light? Thanks

    • @WilliamNevius
      @WilliamNevius  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it measures in 6/8 of an inch where the LEDs are and 3/8 of in inch thickness

    Will this provide sufficient lighting for a workshop bench if installed on a shelf above the bench at about 1.5m above the bench?

    • @WilliamNevius
      @WilliamNevius  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it will

    Can you bend it sideways if you were yo put under your desk or counter top?

    • @WilliamNevius
      @WilliamNevius  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you twist it yes. That’s how I installed around the desk until the back and under. But vertically slides no. I hope that makes sense. I showed an example in the beginning of the video if not being able to bend on the slimmest part sideways

      They are 2 completely different products.

      I got it for my wall. Works just fine. But granted, mine is positioned in just a straight line. If you're trying to do patterns, it's the other product
