Stayed here the last 2 trips to Disneyland a year apart and it was great both times. We were there for Disneyland with 5 day park hoppers both times so the pool was not on our minds. All that mattered was a nice room, with good staff (friendly and the rooms were always made up on our return), close to the entrance and price. To us they score a 4/4 and we will stay here again. The 3rd floor food place is great for breakfast sandwiches and milk in the morning, not to mention other goodies like pizza. The lobby shop is excellent and they also have lemon and lime flavoured ice water in the lobby you can fill your bottle with on the way out. We didn't mind a couple more minutes of walking to save $300.00. Also you can easily go back to your room in the middle of the day to beat the heat, eat, rest, nap, relax and refresh, then head back for the afternoon and evening. We would have been there the day after labor day this year to see Halloweentime for the first time but the pandemic threw that out the window. Anyways, this is a great place to stay. Stay safe all.
Hi Allan, thanks so much for sharing your experience. It is definitely a great hotel super close to the park. Sorry you have to miss your trip but hopefully you'll be able to go for Halloween time next year! 2019 was the first year we'd ever experienced Halloween at the park and we loved it. Thanks again & we hope you stay safe too.
I stayed at the Fairfield Inn Anaheim in May 2019 on vacation from New Zealand and had a great time I was there with my parents and sister, My Dad and I in one room and my Mum and sister in another room right next door. We were there for about 8 days our rooms were facing the park and in my opinion, were so much better and more comfortable than the rooms at the Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel which we had always stayed at before this vacation
Hey John-Paul! Thanks so much for your comment 😀 I have yet to stay at the HoJo so I appreciate your take. We definitely love this place when it comes to hotels that are super close to Disneyland. Hope you and your family are doing well. ~Julia🌺
Hahahaha! I find it funny that Howard Johnson still has hotels. They've literally gone bankrupt in the tri-cities area where I live, which is an hour north of Dallas. Marriott and Hilton have bumped them totally out of the market in my town. My dad stayed at a HJ once and said it so awful that even Holiday Inn feels like a Beverly Hills hotel by comparison!
We think this is one of the better 'budget-friendly' hotels located directly across the street from Disneyland (less than a 5 minute walk). Where have you stayed before and how did you like it? We're looking for new hotels to review so help us out and comment below. ☺️
this is ware we stay every time we go to Disney. We like it a lot , but there was a police raid in a room down the hall from us the last time we were there.
The pool area was a little underwhelming for sure but their gift shop looks fab! I think this would be a great option for people who have very limited park time due to a shorter trip.
Thank you for showing more than just the room photo & price/night. But could you include in the reviews how much is parking, shuttle service, any resort fees, are there restaurants on site or close by? How safe is it? How many people are accommodated in the room @ the rate given? Extra $$ per kid?
"Come of think of it, that's screaming." Cut to people screaming on Matterhorn. That was hilarious... ONE thumbs down. Must be from ol Bob Iger. 😂 He and other Disney execs are still fuming that all those hotels sprang up right next door when the park opened. This is why Disney WORLD has so much open land. Walt didn't want people inside the parks to see anything not related to the Disney name. On the other hand, if Marriott had allowed them to rename it Disney Fairfield Inn, maybe Bob will stop being so grumpy!
Thank you! I just booked this today. I’m feeling reassured with your video❤
Thx for the review I’m going to Disneyland for New Years and hope to have fun😊
Loved this video!
I love the close proximity to the parks - the hotel looked good value. Great video guys 💖

Uhhhh WHAT?!?? Yikes!!! That’s kinda scary 😧

You are exactly right! If I'm only staying for a short couple nights, this hotel works so I can spend as much time as possible in the park 😆
@@HonestHotelReviews Exactly! I want to squeeze every minute out of the park like a juicer squeezes an orange! LOL
I booked here for January.
That’s awesome! I hope you have a great trip. How long are you staying for?
Not long, Saturday to Wednesday.
