Thanks for sharing i too would buy all my appliances from Sears my refrigerator lasted 26 years Sears went out of business had to buy my refrigerator at Best Buy but I have had it for 6 years and I'm fixing to need a new one again I will definitely look at Costco for that. To be honest companies don't make appliances like they used to now a days they don't last that long they break more easily and frequently.
Vicki here, I totally agree especially those with "smart" features. I didn't want those features on the oven but that is all that was available. Actually, the computer boards on both the oven and dishwasher were the parts that failed. I do miss Sears when it comes to appliances and tools!
Oh gosh that was so great that you got new appliances from Costco, I bought my appliances from Sears but we don't have them anymore so if I need a new fridge I will check Costco to see if they have one that will fit my space. I am so glad to see this, we bought out new appliances at my fav big box store but it was a nightmare. I thought installation was going to happen but it didn't, we paid for it. The dishwasher sat in my kitchen taking up space for over a week until my handyman installed it. I did get a refund for the installation $ I paid. Next time, Costco! Things aren't made to last anymore. I swear the stove my mom had for over 62 years in avocado green still worked when we sold the house.

Vicki here, yes, Sears was THE place to buy appliances. They made it very easy. We may have more options now, but it's made it much more complicated.
