@kylajames this is 100% my mom. She is not an influencer but she does this And has done this since I was a young child. She is a multimillionaire (something I wish I was!) She doesn’t have any Stanley’s but she does have a customer fridge and crazy organizers for everything. Something I learned is that if it doesn’t fit in her nice perfect fridge then it goes outside to one of the garages. The garage fridge is where everything gets piled into. It’s where all the leftovers go and it’s where most of her friends go to grab things because it’s easier than messing up her perfect fridge. She also is the kind of person to have every bathroom (there’s 4 or 5) stocked up completely. Every bathroom has all of that stuff for every guest who stays over. It allows friends and family to travel with less things when going to her house because most of us think it is a lot to travel to her. Her goal is to minimize any reason for us not to visit. Hope that helps !!
After so many videos I watched about Stanley cups…… the children getting bullied because they didn’t have one, grown people acting fools trying to buy them. I can’t even like a short video when it shows a Stanley and its accessories. 😮
@@samaratinsley9112 if packing toiletries is a reason not to visit your family members, maybe the family needs to talk..? It's more eco friendly to just take your own toiletries.
I bought a fake one because I liked the shape for in my car, but didn’t need the name brand. It was a lot cheaper and it already came with the anti leak bits. So mine actually doesn’t leak.
@@ERIN_198 it’s extremely bold of you to say a currency from a very barren country without specifying that it’s an Australian dollar instead of an American dollar which most people watching this video are from. I would be rude too if I had to live in a giant prison island too so I understand.
@@medicbabe2IDthey packed more than I did in my medic bag during both of my deployments to Iraq. Wish I would of had the mini fan though 😅 cause it was hot.
Except the bag that the Stanley brand themselves made actually, I liked that. But I'm biased because I have my own that are used for fairly standard size small water bottles, for when I'm going out and want to bring my water but don't need a whole bag
See i can see the appeal of having it for a regular water bottle on a walk. For me the stanley just doesnt make sense because its already SO heavy, and it leaks so if you had it full and used the strap out for a walk it would be bouncing around and spilling everywhere. But having a water bottle strap so you can bring it on a hike or whatever with just say your id and some cash/debit card, maybe a granola bar or something makes sense.
It being so pristine defeats the whole purpose. It’s not a junk drawer if you don’t have to spend at least a few minutes looking for that battery you need😂
@@NambaziThis is the first time I’m hearing of a drunk drawer, but I’m absolutely certain that I had a few before I stopped drinking. After 14 years I may still have 1-2 now, even 4 moves/homes later.
"only taking my tumbler to go on a walk" baby boo where are you WALKING? The length of the Nile? Please explain why you would ever need all that on A WALK 😭
Unless somebody told me that all those things in the bathroom were for me to use, I would never touch any of that as a guest. Because that’s just not a thing when you stay at a friends house. You don’t go through all their stuff and use all their products.
I think the only time I've seen a "restock" video I was 100% not confused by was people who foster kids and leave a bunch of actual personal care stuff because they know the kids don't get them often. The rest of them, just seem to give me the ick. I genuinely just don't want the products in my life by the time they're done.
See THAT makes sense! And in that case it makes sense to have individually packaged things so they can stock up a bit and take things with them when they leave. That’s a beautiful way to do something like this! Otherwise, having that much stuff just for the sake of having it is over the top
Yep- I used to do international mission trips with a local charity, and I would gather unopened hotel toiletries that people don’t want/often leave unused in hotels (and many housekeeping staffers have to toss after each guest). I would collect them all year from friends, esp those who travel for business. I had a little “restocking” looking shelf in my closet just for these, and I’d an organize them by type. In Nicaragua and Brazil, we would set up a little free “shop” at a community location where folks could come and choose toiletries, flip flops/water shoes, t-shirts/tanks, and eyeglasses (the reader kind- I collected these new all year as well). Most exciting time was once when I was working the little shop a small earthquake hit- common for locals but wild for me! Anyway, the organization had a real practical purpose… but I do admit I enjoyed organizing it all and seeing all the different style of toiletries from resorts/hotels I’ll probably never go! I enjoyed organizing and setting up the little shops as well. I loved how happy everyone was leaving with a bag of goodies and knowing many of the toiletries would’ve been trashed and never enjoyed otherwise, too.
One of the biggest things outside of what’s already been mentioned that bothers me about guest bathroom restocks is almost every single one stocks highly fragranced products that I wouldn’t be able to use or have fragrances I don’t like using.
@@sevenember3332I get the restock videos are unrealistic but getting annoyed by them because it’s products you couldn’t use or don’t like the scent of is weird lol. You’re not going to be a guest at their home anyway! Are they supposed to ask every guest that’s going to come over what they like specifically and change it out per each guest? That’s such a silly thing to nit pick here😂
Calling it hyper consumption at this point is an understatement. These people are merchants running a store inside their homes and the companies and stores are just their wholesale Warehouses/ suppliers. Like, yall liked the store so much you made the store at home!!! Imagine being rich or in debt to cosplay a CVS stocker. Help me.
LOL right? Like I’m kind of scared, have I been indoctrinated?! 🤣 Honestly when I got mine it was pretty much the only one I could find that had a straw, a handle, could fit a ton of water and fit in a cup holder. Now there are sooo many dupes!
I only have one because I loved the color and had a gift card for Amazon lol definitely enjoy that it fits my car drink holder. And it's my only cup now
I got one as a gift and I love it for around the house but taking it to work or anywhere is awful because it leaks. You can get add ons to make it not leak but it’s already so expensive! Why have to buy MORE to make it work properly??
What really gets me about the bathroom restocks is that the drawers and containers they show are ALWAYS brand new and pristine. Sure, she vacuums and wipes down as if there was stuff there before but the drawers look just assembled. The boxes they put everything in look like they JUST peeled the stickers off and there's never ANYTHING else inside them. There's never a few tide pods in the jar that haven't been used yet. It's always crystal clear and completely empty.
Yes. "Restocking" the guest bathroom? Did she have 100 people there over the weekend? Where did all the pristine empty containers come from? How many guests does she have and why do they bring nothing with them? So many questions.
I've watched a lot of videos on this topic and 99% of them ARE staged. I've seen people reuse their videos from a year prior and just use different captions like it's a new video. You can also tell that even the "clean my ___ woth me" have staged crumbs or trash that is obviously not realistic in even how the stuff would build up. All of these products are just props for content creation.

@@carris2scents57Get a vending machine. No joke. When I was with my ex, we had one (he had 4 teenagers) and it was great because the kids had to pay for the pop and that helped rebuy it. We kept a big thing of quarters and we would reward them with quarters for pop. 😅
Restocking fridge with fruits and greens in open trays - HELL NO! It's gonna stink in an hour and cut greens are gonna get sluggish and gross even faster. At least put them in sealed containers, jeez!
Yeah I know what you mean I cut up a bunch of brocoli, cucumbers, coliflower, carrots and celery and put them in a tray with dip in the middle so I can snack on whenever I’m hungry and ohh Jeeezzz. After about 2 days the brocoli stank up my whole fridge like something died in there.

I'm from Central Europe and have never in my life seen anyone walking around with a Stanley, let alone with a tray of snacks or a little backpack attached to one, and I feel like my life is somehow incomplete without having had this experience 😂
As an American I've never seen someone in public using the snack tray or little pouch attachment, only the cup. Thankfully I think the snack trays and such are just for social media 😅
I'm from Finland and I saw a few 12-year-olds with Stanleys a few weeks ago!! were definitely just the cups and also the kids just had an overall "trendy" appearance, but yeah. the one and only time I've seen Stanleys in the wild.
Austrian here, I recently saw Stanley-style cups being sold in a specialist outdoor store, but I never saw anyone actually use one, not even American tourists ^^
As a child therapist, I see the impact of the aesthetic videos for the kids 10-12, they feel they need everything and struggle with making connections outside of what they have
ima be honest, the beverage fridge doesn't seem unrealistic to me. growing up i knew lots of people(surburbanites) who had a second fridge in their garage, and it usually was dedicated to drinks and small snacks. yknow, stuff the kids or dad could just grab while they were outside? or it was dedicated to their curing projects, like kimchi or dry aged beef. so, it's not ~unrealistic~ exactly, it's just a sign that you are DEFINITELY middle class or higher.
Yea, I used to have an extra in the garage. It was great to keep all the drinks cold, but not take up room in the house fridge. My grandparents always had a mini fridge for drinks and snacks.
I feel like every generation now is going to go through this because of how much social media prioritizes overconsumption. I still remember the heydey of beauty influencers with entire ROOMS dedicated to makeup, and the slow unravelling as they all pared down because it got so fucking crazy. The resulting 'clean out my makeup collection' videos were absolutely insane. We just do not need any of this stuff. The stanley craze in particular is wild because it's so heavy to carry and people are still putting shit on top of it. Like...hate to tell you babes but a solution already exists and it's called a PURSE.
Oh I used to LOVE those “makeup collection” videos back in the day. The ikea alex drawers still haunt me 🤣 but 100%, I think we’re seeing that now again with the trend on TikTok of “underconsumption core” where people show having just one of something and using it up before getting another!
This isn’t new. My mom was a depression child. She always kept our linen closets and bathrooms stocked. She was ahead of her time. She had 4 children she knew what it was like to go without she was making damn sure we didn’t so I get it
Fr, i watched a documentary on make up in UK years ago that said average money spent on makeup per year was £2000, and thats average, i calculated spend £20 max and evensome of my stuff has expired before full use, so i just cant understand it.
I mean, I have a makeup room. 😂 But, it is only because my house has one built in with the master suite. It is a small room with a built-in vanity and sink between the room and the closet and bath. And I don't have that enormous collection they have. These ppl are using entire bedrooms. It is weird. Lol
Watching these videos (overconsumption vides) doesn't give me any FOMO, if anything it makes me feel so much better with how I live my life and that I don't need any of that stuff in my life. Less stuff is the way to go
Maybe I live under a rock but I seriously doubt anyone is actually taking their Stanley cup out in public with all that stuff attached to it. Has anyone actually see this out in the wild? I don’t believe it
Hopefully the idea is that you will buy a couple of these add-ons and switch them out depending on what you need that day. ?? I sure hope that no one is actually going out with all that junk hanging off their water bottle.
I just let my guests use my products if they forgot something like shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. but my guests are usually my sister or my mom so I don’t mind sharing. For the tooth brush, I usually have one or two extras unopened under the cabinet for when it’s time to switch mine out anyway.
I keep a couple spare toothbrushes and an extra contact lens case and solution, because those are things it really sucks to forget and not have. For everything else, they can borrow mine or they’re on their own!
Something I've noticed in fridge restocks is that almost none of the food can really be used as ingredients to make proper meals. You don't see like ground beef, hotdogs, hamburgers, nothing to make into a meal. It's all just snacky foods, even if it's fruits and veggies. Like tell me how you're taking cherries, strawberries, broccoli, etc. And making a full cooked meal for a family. You're just not.
I agree they have to keep non aesthetic things out of the fridge, but I also don’t keep meats in my fridge ever. I keep all meat in the freezer and thaw it only the night before I plan to make it for dinner.
It is all fake. They're not living like this. Lol Also, putting your veggies and fruits in there, open, without a closed container is just weird. The things like broccoli, onion, etc would be so dried out. It would also make your fridge reek.
ngl that first video with the cup got me good, I was cracking up at how ridiculous it looked by the end. I can see the appeal, but yeah when people are going that far with it there is obviously a sense of "they are trying way too hard to show off they are 'put together' and better than me"
not very far into the video yet but already want to comment because you brought up the (extremely important) fact that these videos are actually ads for storefronts. that’s something that is CRUCIAL information to keep in mind with these videos, and yet you’re the first person who I’ve seen acknowledging it. maybe others people making these reaction videos have thought it’s so immediately obvious that it’s not even necessary to mention it, but given the current state of reading/media comprehension on the internet I’m so glad you did.
YESS finally someone is talking about this!! the ‘restock my guests bathroom with me’ videos literally leaves me baffled. I dont know about the US but here toiletries, especially the fancier ones are SO EXPENSIVE. a good shampoo can cost me more than 30 bucks (excluding the conditioner). STOCKING a whole bathroom for your guests is craaaaazy to me
That olive container is for things that you store with its liquid. The idea is that you can place it in the fridge/pantry in such a way that the product is in the liquid. Then when you want to grab the product, you hold it so that the liquid drains to the other side, allowing you to grab the product without having it roll around in the liquid. I know someone that uses a container like this for her pickles. She loves pickles so much, that she doesn't consider dinner good if she didn't have pickles. She has always had trouble getting the pickles out of the jar without the juice going everywhere, so this is a good solution for her.
@@senil1659 I know, I always use a fork. She has some issues with her hands, so using a fork is harder for her. I see these kind of items as something that is useless to non-disabled people, but could be useful when you are disabled.

That, the egg bin (a small, compact one that's safer to stack than the cardboard ones I feel) and a lazy Susan rotator are the only organization items my fridge has, and all it really needs.
@@terrawrites1900 I need to get one of those jar things for my icebox. I hate having wet hands and I don't want the juice dripping on the counter, and also the normal jars have such a narrow opening I struggle getting into them and getting stuff out again.
My Dad used to be a contractor and he would work on rich people’s homes and the thing he was the most stunned by was they had whole pantries fully stocked with snacks and another pantry for food. My take on it is this is way better than commercials! It’s soothing to watch but just know it’s a commercial. Every once in a while I buy something from the “commercial.”
33:04 The point of that is to drain the juice so you can pick out your olives or pickles or whatever mess free, but return the juice after so they dont dry out
If you’re packing for a trip, the mini toiletries aren’t all that necessary. Go to your local dollar store and get a couple of little bottles for your shampoo and conditioner and micellar water if you use it to remove makeup. All those little toiletries add ip quick!
@@rachelatwater7576True. I don’t think I was communicating my meaning all that well. What I was saying was that you can get the mini reusable empty bottles at a dollar store and then just fill those from your regular size products.
The ice drawer restocks are insane! Here’s the thing - once you start consuming more, you have more things to clean and maintain in your life which eats up precious time and causes stress, at least for me. These influencers entire job is to make these little videos, that’s not my reality. While that luxurious amount of ice might look lovely, the idea of buying all that, making it, needing a special freezer for it, etc. makes me sweat lol. The REAL luxury of having money isn’t in buying more stuff, but in buying your time back. The REALLY wealthy people have the means to buy lots of stuff and hire other people to maintain it lol
It's almost like Stanley is making the most ridiculous attachments for their cup because they know the section of the population will buy buy buy and not give a hoot about price. 🤯😂😂
i feel like people bath the guest bathroom restock videos bc they would get more flak for buying all that shit for themselves, but it comes off as considerate, caring or even altruistic to buy things meant for others. i know that another draw is that people are drawn to tiny products, myself included. i think this gives people an excuse to buy the cute tiny products without feeling bad or being criticized as much.
After going to the garbage landfill a few years on a field trip with my students, the amount of waste in the world was really put into perspective for me. YT views literally promotes over consumption. Whether it’s filling your entire kitchen with ball pit balls, or buying TV’s just to smash them, it all ends up in a landfill 😩
You can not convince me that the ice in those ice stocking videos doesn't freeze together into one big lump. There's just no way any of that is getting used when stored this way.
May I please say that I love how COMFORTABLE you look in this video? Often content creators seem to want to look like they're not hanging out on their couch at home, but you lean into that, sweats and all. For me, that feels actually relatable.
We have a mini fridge (fridge freezer combo) that takes up like no room just for ice cream and drinks (soda, bottle water, alcohol drinks, etc) that hangs out in our front room that acts as a day room. I thought having a small fridge for drinks was fairly common so we don’t fill our main fridge full of drinks when it’s for food and such.
No having a drink fridge is totally normal. If you have an actual house I think most people have their old fridge in their garage or basement. Hell I have an apartment and I’m tempted to get a drink fridge lol
Ok, but hear me out: as a mom of a toddler, some of those fridge restock videos of things likes fruit and veggies decanted into trays, babybels/cheesesticks, etc. would be pretty convenient for the toddler that likes to go into the fridge for their own snacks lol
Kids I know and my own when he was a toddler wasn't allowed to get into the fridge. It can be dangerous (and messy) if something falls or whatever. We just get it for them. 😂
I don’t normally comment on TH-cam, but I just wanted to thank you for making this video. I especially liked the advice to “check in with yourself” while viewing this kind of content. As a middle-aged woman, I forget I’m not immune to this nonsense. Your approach and commentary was spot on without being unkind.
The guest bathroom seems crazy to me , i get leaving them basic things such toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, & mouthwash. Shampoo, conditioner & body wash depend because everyone is different, but face masks, perfume, makeup wipes & skin care products just so extra
I just did a restock. It wasn't this nonsense. I work long hours and never have time to go shopping, so when I get a day off, I have to make sure there's enough stuff to keep going until the next available day. There's nonsensical restocks and then there's realistic restocks. All the single use stuff for guests is wild.

You're right, once the seal of the original packaging is broken, what matters are the instructions on the container "after opening, store in the fridge and use up within X days". X is usually something like 1-2, 3-4. Maybe a week. But usually not more than that. Also if there was a bit of dust, remains or alike, it's pretty much getting off a lot sooner, even in the fridge.
@@KylaJames it is. Normally my family only does it if a) the original container is damaged or b) we have guests over on high holidays and we don't want to have the ugly boxes on the pretty festive table.
This reminds me of my old roommate. She is a QVC junkie. This broad buys non stop. Our pantry wasnt a pantry. It was the size of a large closet and the shelves filled with dishes. Bakeware. In different colors she never used but didnt wanna sell because she wouldn't get the price she wants. Bought a kirby vacuum set up, with 2 full size dysons and a rocket vacuum and 2 hand helds in the house. Kitchen Aid gadgets. She had THREE food processors. Two air fryers She stored on the fridge and never used. A 16pc dish set she did use and that didnt include the bake ware she bought separately to match. Totes of place mats etc. New bed spreads. New containers for food storage that took up more space than actually keeping them in their original containers. Shit either collected dust or was stored away in closets. 3 drawers of silverware and cooking utensils as well as 2 canisters with utensils. Oh she also never cooks unless its the counter top oven thing. Freezer full of QVC bagels and pastries and tv dinners or whatever. I was so glad to move out.
The bathroom restock.. I do that 2x a year. While I live in California.. my family lives in Japan and Alaska. My husband's family visits from New York and Pennsylvania. When my family from Japan visits.. they are here for no less than 4 weeks. The supplies are mostly so they don't have to buy any more toiletries when they stay. My sister in law sometimes brings her family as well and taking the "American" toiletries back with them is something they enjoy. 🤷🏽♀️
See and that's totally fair! I think where it becomes so unrealistic is that these people likely aren't in a situation like that, at least not as often as they post these "restocks". Also i think there is always an outlier where stuff like this makes sense, but promoting it as something everyone should desire to have isn't great imo!
Truly love the insinuation that your guests are straight up nasty and lacking even the basic hygiene necessitates, let alone requiring expensive perfume and makeup😅
I've have a drink fridge 😅 but it's the old fridge that came with the house when I bought it and the freezer side stopped working (only cools to 40F) so the busted fridge went into the garage and a new fridge was ordered for my kitchen. Our drinks. Waters. Overflow junk goes into the shit garage fridge 😂
Yeah I knew a lot of people with drink fridges when I was younger and my parents have one too. Most of the time it was their old fridges where the water dispenser quit working or whatever.
Same! It’s regular thing in the uk to keep your freezer in the shed/ garage/ outhouse. Plenty of people get fridge freezers so they can keep drinks and beers out there
Outhouse must mean something very different in the UK. In the States, it's kind of an outdoor toilet, but no running water. I think we would say outbuilding, maybe? But that's any building not attached to the house...sorry, I geek out unnecessarily on stuff like this.
The one stanley atachment I could see being actually useful is the little pill container that clips onto the handle. That could be actually really useful for someone who might need to take pills while they're out and about. Sure, if you have a purse you could have more medications in there than the little container can hold. But it could be good for some pain meds, allergy meds, lactose meds, prescriptions. Plus since it's on a water bottle, you'll have water to take with your pills. It's not a strictly necisarry thing, but if you have a stanley and medications you take regularly, it could be useful.
@@abnerlookatthis You've got the spirit, but nitroglycerin should be kept in it's original packaging when not in use. Not only are the bottles they're in specifically made for being easy to open in the event you have to take it, but they're also made to keep out moisture, and as nitroglycerin is designed to be taken sublingually (under the tongue) it may be less effective should it encounter even a bit of the condensation that could get into that pill case from the cup, or even humidity from being outside. It's expired now, but I had a pharmacy tech license. Not bashing on you or anything - it was a really cool idea.
Lol! Seeing those drink fridges are wild! Where I am from, lots of families have a drink fridge, but its a 20+ yr old full fridge in the garage where you just shove the whole box of cans in it.
As a middle class Canadian growing up we just had “the fridge in the garage” that was for drinks and sometimes snacks like cheese sticks. We also used it to store leftovers if there were large quantities (ie pizza, takeout containers, or lasagna). But wow! Next level 😂
Having a drink fridge is considered "Midwest Rich" in my area. They're usually the old fridge that was in the kitchen originally, and it gets rehomed in the garage.
What’s crazy is I first started watching Emily when she was doing anti-MLM content and then she quickly swerved into ASMR and restocking videos, which I like but it was sad to see her change her content so drastically.
I'm guilty of having a fridge just for drinks lol. It's our garage fridge, and we keep it stocked for when people come over. We have a pretty open house so a lot of our friends will swing by just about every day to hang out, bring their dogs to play with ours, or have dinner so we utilize the fridge and it makes sense for our lifestyle. We also use it for regular and alcoholic beverages so there's a decent selection. When we don't have guests over, my husband and I don't really grab drinks from the fridge. I totally get how it can look crazy if you don't *need* a drink fridge, but it works for our lifestyle
I totally get where you’re coming from and generally agree. For guest bathrooms, I definitely will go out of my way to try to make sure the bathroom is clean and has what they need. But like you said, it’s hard to afford the amount that they do. If I could, I would, because I like to take care of guests, but I usually can’t. I always make sure sanitary products, with a wide asssortment are under the sink and sorted, along with extra tooth brushes and toothpaste, and towels. I have a niece that told me she follows my model now because as a teen, having free access to those products meant a lot to her (her parents didn’t have much).
Totally fair! I can see that too - and i think having some stuff on hand def makes sense - hygiene products, extra toothbrushes and a toothpaste etc. I think the issue isn't having some of that stuff, it's promoting having ALL of it in such excess that it just isn't sustainable or realistic at all. If I was having guests come stay at my house i'd def pick up some of that stuff too just to make sure everyone is taken care of and there are no late night trips out to get a necessity like a toothbrush!
Insane 🤦♀️🤦♀️ I would buy a mini Native deodorant as like a treat to myself on my way out of Target. This girl has 17 just hanging out for potential guests who will likely bring their own deodorant. Wild Yes!! Part 2! Thank you!!☺️
For the bathroom restock, idk I appreciate people that give stuff like that because my husband and I are like that. We provide everything so that they DONT need to bring certain things.. like- toothbrush, makeup wipes etc. it’s just showing hospitality + most the times if it’s makeup etc, we WANT them to keep it as a little token of appreciation for coming over and staying with us
I have been in many homes with drink fridges. Its the most normal thing presented in these videos. Its inexpensive to get a second fridge because sometimes people are practically giving them away on offer up. And if you are lucky enough to have a garage you would put the drinks fridge out there. Some people call it the beer fridge.
My parents have 3 fridges. They bought a knew one when they bought their house with the money from selling the property when my dad divorced my mom. The fridge from the ranch went on the back patio and is my dad's beer fridge and freezer has his ice cream and some meats lol. My step mom brought her old one as well and that's her drink fridge and the freezer has more meats. Inside fridge is the everything fridge if basics etc like normal. My house, we have two. One in the garage is the drink fridge and the freezer (bigger than inside) has extra stuff we rotate with the inside freezer.
I love using different shapes of ice and I use a lot of ice and I don’t have much time so I like to make a lot at once, so some of the ice restocks give me a little inspiration lol. Something the ice restock influencers don’t tell you though, is that by the time all the ice gets out of the trays it’s slightly thawed out. So all of the ice, as satisfying as it is when you first see it, when it freezes again it gets all stuck together. So you have to smack it against the ice bin every time you get ice
Something that most people don’t understand is that these are small businesses for these people. So any new items they use in their videos can literally be written off on taxes as a business expense. So they may actually be making more money than you think b/c they probably use a small business loan as a start up as well.
I will say that a LOT of us who grew up in the Midwest had a janky fridge in the garage that wasn't cold enough for most foods but great for drinks. It made more room for actual food in the inside fridge.
@33:04 It took me like a million times seeing that thing to figure out what it is, but my best hypothesis is that it lets the olives or pickles or whatever sit in the juice in the fridge, but then you can remove the juice when you're actually getting the olives out of the jar. That's just my best guess though!
i'm glad i can feel less guilty about my own 'restock' habits now, i'm a big coffee person so i'm always getting new syrups/making cold brew etc. the ice collections are the only thing i could see myself doing (ON A SMALLER SCALE) because it would be really cool to have different ice depending on the drink i want. i'm glad i can feel better about myself now because i thought i was excessive but i only keep 4-5 syrups at a time and don't replace any until they've all run out
Now, ice drawer restock is something I can DEFINITELY get behind! I personally drink at least a gallon every day, water, seltzer, green tea etc. And I can go through 2 whole trays of ice every day. If I had enough freezer room, I'd be doing the ice. Both to put in drinks, and to blend with fruit for smoothies. I don't think it's a waste of money if you're actually consuming it.
I have severe adhd (professionally diagnosed) and these restock videos give me serious anxiety due to the waste of product and money and over consumption of plastic!
I’m professionally diagnosed with adhd and anxiety. If I have more than enough product, I literally put the expiration date in Sharpie on them on top. If there’s no clear expiration date, I write the date I received them, often with from where I got it. This is because if I got it from a subscription like FabFitFun or something I know they sometimes are closer to the expiration date than things I go out and purchase myself.

Sometimes when I've done a food shop, the fridge is full of food and I'm playing fridge Tetris to get it all in and then my mum goes "Oh we should have pizza" so I'm also trying to get left over pizza in. That must be what life is like for these people.
If I'm paying $35 to $45 for a single tumbler, that thing better not fudging leak. WTF? I don't even own one. I found 4 takeya bottles on clearance at Meijer last summer, $24 for all 4. They don't leak. I'm good with those.

the stanley packing is what set me over the edge and prompted this video lmao
Omg completely understandable. The Stanley obsession drove me insane.
@kylajames this is 100% my mom.
She is not an influencer but she does this And has done this since I was a young child.
She is a multimillionaire (something I wish I was!)
She doesn’t have any Stanley’s but she does have a customer fridge and crazy organizers for everything.

But having a water bottle strap so you can bring it on a hike or whatever with just say your id and some cash/debit card, maybe a granola bar or something makes sense.

The Stanley trays were developed and patented by dogs with the secure expectation that they would tip and spill snacks with every use.
It’s for our cars. The smaller base makes it easier to fit into smaller cup holders in our vehicles.
I did, I actually had to double check, It did not feel real

I just did a restock. It wasn't this nonsense. I work long hours and never have time to go shopping, so when I get a day off, I have to make sure there's enough stuff to keep going until the next available day. There's nonsensical restocks and then there's realistic restocks. All the single use stuff for guests is wild.
I didn't even know half this shit existed. Also, phone sanitizers? Shit, I just put some disinfectant on a towel and wipe my phone 😂
Or rubbing alcohol
Yes totally!! Alcohol swabs are very inexpensive and portable.
@@michellecarice I use alcohol and a cotton ball and clean my phone that way.
I mean, if you want to live like a peasant…
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 these “influencers” are so ridiculous. I can’t imagine the intelligence level of people who are actually influenced by this stuff.
@@jworth7203 yea interesting. I feel it's also people wanting the coolest newest shit and here I do live like a poor ass peasant, doing shit the poor ass way and getting by 😂😂
“Ain’t nobody got time for that!” -Kimberly “Sweet Brown” Wilkins 🤭
😆😆I remember her🌸💕Thanks for the reminder and the wicked laugh 💜Hope you’re having a great day 🌸💕

You're right, once the seal of the original packaging is broken, what matters are the instructions on the container "after opening, store in the fridge and use up within X days". X is usually something like 1-2, 3-4. Maybe a week. But usually not more than that. Also if there was a bit of dust, remains or alike, it's pretty much getting off a lot sooner, even in the fridge.
it just seems so impractical!
That’s actually really cute
All this "influencing" has actually done the opposite to me- I want LESS things after seeing all the ridiculousness
Truly love the insinuation that your guests are straight up nasty and lacking even the basic hygiene necessitates, let alone requiring expensive perfume and makeup😅
Ahaha right?! Like having extra toothbrushes just in case is one thing but who travels with none of their own skincare or makeup?
HA
Surpised there's no comment about this, but the irony of being a overconsumption aesthetic tiktoker when you used to make anti mlm content
😂 👏 👏 👏 👏
Yes considering that both mlms and restock videos both promote overconsumption.
Same here.
Yes! The drink fridge is the old fridge in the garage or basement 😂
Nitroglycerin! The pill container is perfect for nitro....one of those meds you need when you least expect it! 🫀
That’s what I was thinking, the pill holder I’d use but anything else is pretty stupid lol
Strongly disagree 😂 prescriptions should be kept in their bottles. Toss them in your purse. Even if it’s allergy meds, just toss them in your purse
@ so you carry 6 pill bottles every day?? Gtfo 😂
This gives me anxiety on how much stuff there is. I spend time getting rid of extra things so I don’t have to manage all of that!
If I was staying at a friend's house and they offered me that many brand new "bought just for you" bathroom products to use I'd be a bit creeped out…
What’s crazy is I first started watching Emily when she was doing anti-MLM content and then she quickly swerved into ASMR and restocking videos, which I like but it was sad to see her change her content so drastically.
Its hoarding. Straight up, its just become somewhat socially acceptable because its "satisfying" and profitable
Insane 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I would buy a mini Native deodorant as like a treat to myself on my way out of Target.
This girl has 17 just hanging out for potential guests who will likely bring their own deodorant. Wild
Yes!! Part 2! Thank you!!☺️
Deodorant is a treat?
@@meggo329When that exact deodorant is like, $13, yeah. XD
@@KitsuFacea mini deodorant can’t be $13 I refuse to believe you
For the bathroom restock, idk I appreciate people that give stuff like that because my husband and I are like that.
Drink fridges are common in the South. But freezers specifically for fancy ice is way out of left field.
Yeah drink fridges are normal to me too
Super regular in the UK! We also call them beer fridges sometimes too
I love using different shapes of ice and I use a lot of ice and I don’t have much time so I like to make a lot at once, so some of the ice restocks give me a little inspiration lol.
6:50 byee why are we putting the phone in a toaster 😭😭
That's just my best guess though!
i'm glad i can feel less guilty about my own 'restock' habits now, i'm a big coffee person so i'm always getting new syrups/making cold brew etc. the ice collections are the only thing i could see myself doing (ON A SMALLER SCALE) because it would be really cool to have different ice depending on the drink i want. i'm glad i can feel better about myself now because i thought i was excessive but i only keep 4-5 syrups at a time and don't replace any until they've all run out
I have the "ball" trays...just be warned that it takes 12 hours for them to freeze and we have the tiny ones.
I’m so earlyyyy - these overconsumption videos are the videos I watch if I just need a reason to be angry lol
You’re so real for that 🤣 I get it, they’re so out of hand!
I work in surgery supply, and phone toasters are garbage. We do not use tinsy little UV lights. We use industrial autoclaves and industrial powerwashers. 🤣 Anyone claiming it's a "medical" or "hospital" sanitizer? Run.
17:12 shes either going to give them away, throw them away or use them herself because no one has that many guests before that stuff expires. Unless she has someone come live in her guest room for a long time
All that over consumption but no phone case 😂
Omg the long sleeves yes 😂
Sometimes when I've done a food shop, the fridge is full of food and I'm playing fridge Tetris to get it all in and then my mum goes "Oh we should have pizza" so I'm also trying to get left over pizza in. That must be what life is like for these people.
Love the butterfly cushion! 🫶🫶🤗🫶😊
If I'm paying $35 to $45 for a single tumbler, that thing better not fudging leak. WTF? I don't even own one. I found 4 takeya bottles on clearance at Meijer last summer, $24 for all 4. They don't leak. I'm good with those.
Berries will spoil faster with all that handling and watering, they’re not like apples that will keep for a while
If I ever end up in a stranger's house, or someone I've only recently gotten to know, etc? And they open their fridge, or a drawer and I see things organized like that...?
I'm leaving!
I don't want to get murdered. LOL!
I like when things are neat, but that's just taking it way too far.
19:55 the concealer selection implying she doesn't have any dark skinned friends is killing me
Me at my next guest bathroom restock for when you come over ✨ visine and a toothbrush for ry ✨ so aesthetic 💅
LMAO stop that’s perfect.
I need that visine after a flight, bestie 😅
They saw people getting sick of minimalism and tried to imagine what the opposite would look like, landing them in this absolutely unhinged trend. While still having everything be beige and bland. Cause theres no money in genuine lasting taste and cherishing your worn and loved possessions.
The Stanley cup! 😳😳 what in the world is happening?!
It’s such overkill 🤣
