Thanks Jon, I’m enjoying making the videos too. I used to eat them way back when and then stopped for some reason, maybe as they’re not the cheapest but they are worth the money imo. I’ll try the Garlic chicken curry soon as I’ve not tried it. Thanks for your support mate. 👍👍
Nice one 👍 I hate slugs. Had one in my kettle one morning but didn’t find it till I’d boiled the water and drank the tea 🤮 Wondered why it tasted rank 😂
Had Slug trouble many times, and found prior to putting Ground Sheet down is to apply Liberal amount of Salt as this sends them running, But if you choose to fish without Ground sheet your asking for trouble all night long.
Good question, well firstly just to clear it up incase there’s some confusion. I’ve named it the Long Lake for the purpose of the videos as stated at the intro to the first video. It’s not Long Lake itself, it’s just a long Lake 👍. I chose this lake for a Winter Campaign as I have a few Lakes that I’m a member and this one ticked the boxes for stock size and quantity for me, it’s also a lake that shows winters harsh reality’s (or as harsh as winter gets nowadays). No doubt I will have a good few blank sessions on here but will be putting every effort in to ensure that doesn’t happen by relocating swims when I need to. I will be doing bite size tips in each video for my Winter fishing, clothing, cooking, preparation etc but would consider doing a full video on it if the demand were there. The thing is that how I may do things will not necessarily be the way another angler would so they are only suggestions. Preparation wise, I don’t pre bait as I don’t have time, however if I have bait left over I like to pay the carp back with some free food. Thank you very much for the comment and for watching the video!
@@JayHutchinson-s4xI’m sorry Jay, I won’t ever say where the lakes are that I’m fishing. For many reasons but particularly for the respect of the Lake owners and the anglers fishing there.
Thanks everyone who has watched, liked, subscribed, commented etc on this one and the previous videos 👍👍

In winter, fish are usually less active when feeding, but finally, the first catch made it to shore. Well done, buddy!
Thanks a lot, yes I was happy to land that one!
Nice looking lake lovely fish mate what bait you using nice vid
Thank you!! The bait I use is not a big brand but I’ve got great confidence in it. It’s a sweetcorn based bait.

😂😂. No that’s not good 😂. Not nice when you put your foot in your shoe and there’s one in there either.
Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it.

Yes or a beer trap is another option outside the bivvy.
What inspired you to choose Long Lake for such a long campaign? It would be great to see a video on your preparation for winter fishing! ❄

Are they Daiwa GS Sportlines or whiskers reels?
They’re Whiskers, Diawa ss2600’s. Great little reels! I’ve changed the spool from the gold ones to stainless ones from Weston Developments.
