I know this is a joke and all but it angers me so much cause Barry did so damn well and Mike fucked it hard.
@@demoneon9527 To be fair, I think Mike was trying to be a bit more inventive with his romesco rather than the classic mushroom-sausage. He just didn't execute it well, at all

@@kabbaage To be even fairer, I think Mike was being paid by a rival TH-cam channel to commit sabotage and should go to food jail
@Angelous Mortis It's like the Asian dish - Barry got 3/4 of the final flavours off of the table, and Jamie hid some, so Jamie actually 'contributed' minus ingredients to the final dish, but they still dicked Barry around for blow torching a pepper - which many Asian fans pointed out was perfectly fine.
This is one of my favorite episodes for the simple reason that it shows what Jamie can do when he just decides on something and goes for it. Spinach pasta is not the easiest goal he could have reached for, but he made the decision, went with it, and it turned out great. Good job, big nose (mine's bigger, so I get to say it - but let's not be childish here)
"Is there anything in it? .... there's a bulb of garlic?" The confusion on Ben's voice is amazing.
I laughed really hard at that part because I'd already forgotten the garlic.

I agree James I think panics to much to fix things well he's better at starting some good stuff cooking and Ben is confident and calm enough to work with less than ideal stuff

there was this one time when they did and in 3d - it was for those headsets - but there was problem that you couldnt go really and see it, it was morel ike you were at one spot and turning
Interesting but potentially dangerous order suggestion. Needs a fitting prompt so that things don´t fall apart in the five minutes.

I think that was the sign of a good friend. For all his complaining Ben didn't just leave the ring on the side where it could get lost or damaged if no one knew it was there, he instead put it in his pocket so he could give it back to it's owner
It's so nice how responsible Barry is though in the sense of hygiene- he always takes off his ring
I love Janice’s confused hesitation when trying to describe the “romesco...pesto...sauce” in the final dish!

hahaha did mike take away nothing from blow torching peppers (of any sort) LOL fair play to him for trying to get some smoked flavours on the peppers but it really takes up way too much time for a pass it on challenge.
I feel Jamie is the best of all the normals
Looking back at this, Jamie crashing into the set and still being the hero of Pass it On was all the foreshadowing we needed that 2020 was going to be a weird one!

I think he really doesn't understand the system. Does the best he's ever done. Actually finishes what the one before him started, added his own component in the same direction as the previous person, and left enough for the next person to work out where it is all going, didn't mess up anything before or after.... gives himself the worst score. I'm so proud of Barry for not panicking and making his own thing that makes no sense.
I disagree, I think if the two after Barry did make garlic bread with the roasted garlic and went with a sausage and mushroom or even just simple mushroom pasta with a lot more cheese on top the dish would have been far better. I am slowly starting to think Barry may be a better cook than James, hes a hell of a lot better than Jamie and Mike.

I realised now after watching quite a few relay that - Mike doesn’t really care what’s in front of him when it’s his turn and makes something else haha I also think Barry’s ideas are quite nice most times but everyone ignores it! Jaime though, freaks out a lot but always does pretty well at the end! They’re all amazing chefs with so different thoughts ;)
You should do a double relay challenge, so you are handcuffed in pairs!

It would be really fun to watch some one start a part of a dish and on their second go around they realize it’s changed drastically or someone hid their horrible attempt lol :) Double Relay!

Just rewatched this in the last hours of 2020. So much optimism in this episode!
The New Years hangover is strong but so is my love for pass it on and watching Jamie be Jamie.
This should help cure the hangover a little.
I think Barry is the only one who actually judges himself which can be sad but he holds himself accountable and struggles to get better. What a good message and something to aspire to be.

Great video guys! I just made handmade pasta before this video was released. Can't beat the freshness! I would love to see some more videos for flavoured pasta, or even how to make different shapes aside from noodles.
