Zhiyun does it AGAIN! They play the role of technical disruptor so very well. We are all spoiled as creators! I will definitely be updating my Weebill S. This is, as you stated, not an incremental change, but an entirely new gimbal system! I wonder though if I can use my current Zhiyun focus module with this... #Subscribed
It seems to me that you're definitely getting your money's worth with this gimbal! It's also nice to not only see the review, but a well-made "sample" of what can be accomplished. I saw some of the panning events were a bit abrupt. It'll be nice to be able to select different "abruptness presets" on the fly won't it?
So there is no more external 2x 18650 batteries that you can just replace when needed. Also, the motion for the flip screen mechanism make the screen easily scratch. You can see the screen protector already scratched in 10:53
Arthur, thanks for a great review, as always. So exciting-I'll be buying the gimbal: Please clarify, can I connect the camera to the gimbal's monitor on the basic package?
@@michaelfilmmaker2870 Hello Mike. Sorry to bother but I have a problem with my gimbal and I like to know if you have an idea how to fix it. My display monitor won't display anything at all, what could be the cause? Thank you.
I've had a couple of weebills and found both to be poor at keeping level footage if you move and turn while shooting, in my case filming continuous property interiors, the drifting off from level, both in pitch and roll forced me to give up using them. I tried the Ronin RSC2, which is near perfect at producing level footage (I'm using pan follow nearly all the time) but the DJI isn't great when it comes to smooth panning and staying on track with a straight long walk, the headband isn't really a headband, it picks up on any tiny change of direction you make. Their algorithm needs some work. So I'm hoping the weebill 2 has fixed their poor horizon issues and still allow you to have buttery smooth pans, when, as Arther has pointed out, you have changed some of the settings.
Hi, thanks for the review. Please tell me: was Sony a6600 or 6400 used on this stabilizer? Which picture profile did you use? Final video has been color grade? Thanks.
Would like to see you try and balance the A7III (if you still have it), otherwise that 9 hour run-time is definitely something nice and clearly an improvement. I would consider using a bigger external monitor connected to the Gimbal than using that add-on attachment to see the camera output on the small built-in screen
Thank you very much Arthur for your reviews, I learn so much from you. However, I have an issue with this device. Firstly I got the weebill lab and after balancing and all, I switched on the device but the little display wouldn't come on. I tried everything but still the same so I had to return it, paid extra and picked up the weebill 2. Now I'm stuck with the same issue, the monitor won't display anything. Please what am I doing wrong?
Awesome review Arthur. The video samples you shot look amazing without any micro jitters at all and the built-in touchscreen is going to make changing settings a whole lot easier. Quick question: Is rolling shutter apparent in 4K video with A6400 and this gimbal? On a side note, I bought a Ronin SC Pro combo last year and till date have used it maybe 2-3 times but I have an old Zhiyun Smooth-Q smartphone gimbal that I've used a lot more and still do. For a newbie like me, I want my gimbal to be portable, lightweight and super easy to balance and the Ronin SC is neither of those things but the Zhiyun smartphone gimbal was a breeze to work with (better than the DJI OM4 too in my opinion). The Weebill 2 seems very promising from your review and also because I've already had such a good experience with their smartphone gimbal but if balancing it is going to mean keeping notes of how many millimeters to slide the camera+lens to the right/left then I might just stick to smartphone gimbals for a couple more years.
How easy is it to change the internal battery? I've had devices where the old internal battery no longer accepted a full charge and it's been a pain swapping it out. If there is no easy way to exchange the battery I'm not very interested and will probably stick with my Weebill S.
Hello Arthur! I am subscribed to you since 2016 and love your videos. You really are the sony a6x00 channel on youtube! May I ask you for a lens suggestion? I am using the a6000 since 2016 with the kit lens which as we all know is not perfect! The pictures are fine but not the best especially when the light is low. I used a sigma lens i liked but it was to big and has no OSS in the lens itself so i sold it on ebay. I thought about buying the a6500 with the steading in the body and a cheap lens but would prefer to keep the 6000 but use a better lens! I am looking for a lens in about the same range as the kit lens to take pictures while hiking of the scenery and friends so the range from 16-50 is fine even if i would prefer more than 50mm for portraits and i wish to go lower / open wider than f3.5. I also need a lens that is better in low light for christmas with the family and it needs steady shot. But the biggest problem is that it can only be 4-5 cm (1,6 - 2 Inches) long as i need to put it in my pockets. Does such a lens even exist? Can you give me a suggestion where i could ask this question? If someone sees this comment and has a suggestion i would be happy to hear it. Thank you very much and keep up your great work!
Still waiting for tamron 11-20 and samyang af 12....many review from other reviewer but still trusting arthur for this kind of review...make it head to head please...btw nice review for weebill 2
Too complicated for me. I like simple things that do their job well. I'm still using an old gimbal that works fine for me. I actually don't use a gimbal often, prefering tripods, monopods and handheld video. Cheers ... good job on your review. I always know I will get good info from your channel.
So the Monitor still requires the use of the Wireless Transmitter to work? That's disappointing. The Weebill Lab was already disappointing with it's tracking, setup and overall reliability. I was excited for this when I heard it had a inbuilt monitor, but the fact that it requires an additional module to work instead of being able to run directly through ports on the Gimbal itself already kills the idea of it.
While panning and tilting its movement is abrupt and turning is slow with that joystick controlling. It may be a nice companion for some expert user but for me it is not working. I upgraded myself backward but upward with a simple flycam of the HD series. This is everything to me like movement, sports and quick turns. But shooting in windy condition is tough though. Here Weebill may do better. And while on a moving object shooting is a challenge for me, here also Weebill might be better. But as a new toy its appealing.
looks great indeed the footage but personally looking for an upgrade to crane m2. its an amazing gimbal. larger than a phone gimbal, smaller than most other camera gimbal. perfect for a setup like a6400 with sigma 16mm. really really hope they launch an update to that soon. theres nothing like it in the market. not even from DJI.
It might depend on whether you are a Mandarin or Cantonese speaker, but I hear 知运 pronounced as "je(r) yoo-en"... The slight r sound probably amplifies as you get closer to Beijing.
I got tired of carrying gigantic gimbals and cameras around, especially if you have a wife and kids with you. If I need to use a gimbal while walking, I just use a Crane M2 with a ZV1. It's a tiny setup. If I want to bring a big camera, I just stand still and use a mono pole with image stabilized lenses. Lugging around tons of equipment got old pretty quick. Nice gimbal though, but like most gimbals, it's too bulky.
I haven't watched one of your videos for a while and now I can tell how long, wow your young fella is growing fast !!!

Indeed. And you dont have to take your phone out to do it.
I was waiting for a new one and here it is. Great video my friends
You need a trasmitter AI

Great video Arthur! What lens(es) did you use for your video examples?
Great video! Your ninja walk is working well! I wonder how this compares to the DJI RSC2?
Great video review Arthur. Will this unit support a small camcorder like a Sony AX53?

Thanks for the video, so excited! I just upgraded today from the original Weebil Lab.
At those price points, wouldn’t the DJI Ronin SC 2 Combo be a better deal?
Yes Dav, I would like to know that also.
Yes. the RSC2 still wins in my opinion. The Weebill's flip-out screen isn't enough to offset the focus control and break-down mode of the RSC2.
@@CrushedEMTB see Vu of Vu films video on the weebil 2 the RSC 2 and the RS2 - he's got a lot of time using these gimbals - his advice is the RS2.

Good to see you are testing the new tamron 11-20
Do you turn off all the IBIS and active stabilization on the camera when you use a gimbal?
Very nice review, does this support canon eos 90D along woth 18-135mm lens ? Please inform, your information will help me a lot. Thanks
I love the shots with the baby sitter
Hi, thanks for the review. Please tell me: was Sony a6600 or 6400 used on this stabilizer? Which picture profile did you use? Final video has been color grade? Thanks.
I would like to know how much the whole package weighs, to see how airline friendly it is.
Brother, what would you use for sony a6400 with 18-135 lens for more vlogging on a fly to get smoother footage?? Gimbal is too big for action imo
Hi what's the weight this gimbal holds? Can not find the information anywhere. Thanks
The Amazon listing says 8.8 lbs.

I guess I’m going to have to spend more money. I love my Canon R5 and my Panasonic GH5. Is this gimbal recommended for them? Thanks in advance! Tony
Will it hold well if I have my sony a6400 cage on it and tilta Matt box on it as well ? Thanks
Thanks...
@10:10 if you need the HDMI output for a recorder does the transmitter have a pass though HDMI out?
Thanks!
which lens you used in this video?
I just received mine in the mail today but I can't figure out how the built in vertical mode works? Is it the portrait mode?
Here we go!!!! Man I want to get one big time!!!

How do you find your S - lots of complaints about the locks breaking.
Does this gimbal solves the horizon drifting issue which the wibble s has?
Very nice review !.. Thank you Arthur ! 👍 ❤ 🕊
Can you tell me which weight have this gimbel pleas
Can it be used for the Sony zv e10?
What if non working? DJI needs 3+ weeks to fix in their shop in CA, how about Zhiyun?

Kann ich die a6600 auch für Vertikale Videos montieren?

Will the a6000 work as well?
It works with the A7SIII so it will work with the a6000 as it is way lighter

Should have made the focus wheel more like DJI's. still takes two hands to use it. Fail....
I think is good
The majority of us uses cameras with no OIS in the body, because they re cheap. Would be interesting to see how that combo works.
