Yay, more hollow knight. Im not surprised you put it down for a while. Whilst i love this game to bits, i think it does a horrible job at showing the player where it wants them to go next. I know it is a metroidvania, so exploration is part of it, but at the start, it just feels like a maze. That being said, your shade with your geo is in the forgotten crossroads in the utmost top right of that area. And if you don't care too much about the geo, i suggest going to greenpath, because through greenpath there is an entrance to the next area, although you just wanna pass through it as there isn't much you can do there apart from just being on the way to the area the game wants you to go to next. You also discovered the shopkeeper sly who sells a lot of neat things in Dirtmouth. This game is great, but on numerous occasions i have googled things to just find out how to get a certain item or how to get somewhere that currently seems inaccessible.
The shade's location is already shown on the map lol, it's the white eyes. Nice video :)

I recommend buying and using shaman stone. It is really good and powerful
