- Dang it. I hate when we reach this point. Every time we finish another Mario Party game, I know that the dreaded 10 worst minigames video is coming up. And once again we have to relive our worst experiences in Mario Party 5. But on the other hand, it does give us a chance to warn players which minigames to avoid so it's really a public service in a way. If you want to see what we think the 10 worst minigames in Mario Party 5 are, watch the video and find out.
As always, Justin will be playing as Mario and Sarah will be playing as Yoshi. You decide which one of us is the better player.

Nope its the control stick spinning minigames that are the worst especially Pedal Power.
Fun fact:the name you pick on random ride actually influences the chance of winning
Oh no, Mario's tripped and fallen into the "pit of one-star minigames", a dreadful place where he'll suffer at the whim of control sticks to spin, buttons he could mash with his eyes closed, team based minigames where one teammate does everything, minigames where Lady Luck steals the wheel from him, and minigames that had a good concept but faultered in execution, all while his eyes and ears melt from the horrible inverted colourless filter on everything!
It’s everything you didn’t like about Mario Party in one package! Maybe after Mario Party Superstars they should make Mario Party Superduds with 100 of the worst minigames.
@@MushroomFortress and including five of the worst boards, or some average boards with some "improvements", like adding 30 more back-to-start spaces to PIRATE LAND and ETERNAL STAR, making the cannons in WARIO's BATTLE CANYON target all islands at once for extra randomness, making every space in BOWSER's MAGMA MOUNTAIN red for the entire game, and adding 20 more mirage stars to SPINY DESERT!

Ok this was seriously funny. You give whoever names the MP minigames a run for their money. Maybe they should hire you haha. I think my favorite one is your name for Vicious Vending. Way better.
I totally thought Submarathon was going to be #1, but after seeing the other ones, it made sense. MP5 had some fun minigames, but I feel like its lows were way lower than a lot of the previous games. That's a shame!
I think we agree. I don’t think the highs reached as high as past MP games but the lows went much lower.

I'm surprised you dislike big top drop so much!
@@MushroomFortress It annoys me the the team can move at only half a mile an hour, meanwhile the one player can drop like 80 balls at once. It doesn't really even feel like it's strategy at that point, because the one player just has to drop enough straight balls so that the team members have no choice but to get hit.
Vicious vending looks absolutely terrible.
Idk why but I feel like I always get will flower for some reason so it’s gotten really old to me to the point where I just groan if I have to play it

10. This is one of the laziest ideas Hudson Soft has ever made. 1 Star
9. I hate this minigame a lot, but I don't agree with the fact that you're calling a luck based minigame "Predictable". Still, 1 Star
8. I don't really mind this one. It's just that it is average. 3 Stars. I would agree and disagree at the same time
7. It has a little bit of Skill, but it is still luck based. 2 Stars
6. I don't mind it. I actually like it. 4 Stars
5. Same as 6, but forgettable. 3 Stars
4. They Brought Back Day At The Races? 1 Star
3. Same as 6. 4 Stars (Also it would have been way wiser if you compared 6 with this one)

absolutely nothing. just don't play it. that'll be more fun than actually playing it
Wow, I actually expected it to be completely different, I honestly expected it to be all games I can't get enough of but there's only two games that I disagree with.

Seriously Mario party 5 is one of my least favorite Mario parties it’s not bad but not that much fun to me mainly because of minigames
That seems to be a common sentiment in the comments. I think we agree too. None of the minigames felt quite as fun and so many of them were extremely forgettable.
i feel like random ride could be bumped up to #7 for some reason
i mean, its the same minigame as day at the races which got 2 stars but with a better concept, so i feel like it should be bumped up above lucky lineup and below rain of fire
everything from day at the races can be said for random ride, especially the part where you said that during day at the races, you can just leave for a few seconds

I think 6 and 7 are probably the two best ones! I'm not positive after that, some have better minigames and others have better board play. You guys should rank the games at the end!

Thus that concludes mario party 5, which i consider one of the least favorite mario parties. Love and completely agree with y'alls list.
oh boy, you'd be surprised on what minigames mario party 6 has to offer, they are loads better than the mario party 5 minigames. However, that isn't to say their are some bad ones, two really bad, like so bad their at " get a ropes " level. I won't spoil those two for y'all as i wanna see y'alls opinions on them, i wish y'all the best of luck with mario party 6.
I've always loved 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9. as i've classified them as my main favorites, and i can't wait to see y'alls rating on them.

@@mack_r-s Sure, mostly because nostalgia, i played it alot when i was younger ( though i didn't have any knowledge of the other mario party games ) i played the game alot with my family and overtime mario party 9 became one of my favorite games.
Nowadays, i have all the console mario party games, and i still consider MP9 to be one of my favorites.

Yeah…there were some good minigames, but none of them felt up to the same level at MP 1-4. I can’t remember MP6 that well but hopefully we like the minigames better.

Great questions! I don't think we'll be able to do the card party right now, but we're planning on doing a play through of a board in Mario Party 5! Then we'll start MP6! We appreciate your support and interest!
In Wind Wavers you have to alternately mash the L and R Buttons and not the A Button.

For me top 10 Worst minigame in Mario party 5
1.Get the rope because it use Lucky i hate luck minigame
2.Pound peril because use lucky to find right Switch.
3.Random ride because use same rule at Day at the races in Mario party 2
4.Maze and Confused because it Very hard to find the right maze and Electric fence changed every time.
5.Qulit for speed because in team side AI player so dumb when i middle and right side AI Player always choose wrong Direction.
6.Rumble fumble because watch the Rumble to find shy guy
7.Heat stroke because it very hard to know when the other player use fake swing or Real Swing.
8.Panic pinball because my Partner don't help me to get the bonus pinball when Bowser face reach 0 to get bonus ball
9.Curvy Curb because the team side is played more difficult than solo side my teammate always bump the road to get stunt.
10 here is the Worst minigame forever in Mario party 5 series is Lucky lineup because it use luck to get three of kind 7 it very hard to get.
Playing with AI players vs humans really changes the experience you get in these mini games. We had the same problem with Quilt for Speed and Panic Pinball. But they're definitely not as bad as get a rope and lucky lineup
