- "Christmas" Breakfast Puffs
-1 1/2 cups warm water
-1 Tablespoon yeast
-1 Tablespoon honey
-1 1/2 teaspoon salt
-4 cups flour
-oil for frying
Add water, honey and yeast to mixing bowl; let yeast bloom for a few minutes. Add salt. Add flour 1 cup at a time while mixing; once dough ball forms, knead for 10 minutes. Place dough in greased bowl; cover with clean kitchen towel; let rest until dough doubles in size. Portion dough into 10 "switch plates that have hole in middle"; place on lightly floured parchment paper lined sheet tray. Let dough rest covered with clean kitchen towel until oil is heated to 365 degrees for frying. Fry each puff until golden brown on each side; remove to rack. Serve with poached egg and bacon.
I’m enjoying all these videos so much!!!
We are in the middle of the deep freeze! Had some snow but none like yours!! Glad the chickens got in…and hopefully safely tucked in!!
The chickens are all warm and snuggly in their house
I’m Alaska native and your puffs are what we call fry bread. Never tried an egg on them yum
Thank you, Shelby! Stay safe in this weather! 🙏 ❤
Another day of delicious looking food from you! Thanks for the meatball sub idea! I have a few bags of them frozen in my deep freezer. I hope your chickens did ok.
They did great once they warmed up in the chicken coop
We had what they called a "squall" here in Utah last week but it was short lived and looked nothing like yours. Yikes!! Stay safe and warm. 😊😊
Thank you
Your meals are pretty as well as yummy looking. So glad you are back.

Yay! Thank you!
The puffs remind me of the fried dough my mom use to make. She would shake them in some cinnamon sugar and serve the to us with a cup of warm milk. Oh the memories, thank you.😍
We got that snow squall too! Came out of no where 😅 luckily all my animals were still in the barn when it happened
It was crazy, glad all your animals are ok
Again, so many great, great recipes! Thank you Shelby! 🫶❤️🤗
How are your bulbs? The moon garden. Maybe an update this spring. ?

Negative 30F here in Missouri!! Lots of frozen pipes and power outages.
Thank goodness you have everything you need if the power were to go out!
It gives us peace of mind, especially in weather like today. The squal hit just as we received the emergency alert on our phone to find shelter.
@TheQueensCabinet my goodness. I've been watching your channel for over 6 years, and we may only be a virtual community, but I think about ya'll during these storms. I'm in central MN, and we get some weather here but not the way you just did!
