I am very pleased with everything Samsung did this year with their phones they have truly innovated and changed the game for the better. I am a IPhone XS Max user but I respect Samsung now a lot they’ve separated themselves from apple and raised the bar once again.. I think I’m ready to make that switch ✌🏻 apple

Samsung clearly has a leg up on Apple. Expandable storage, amazing screen, performance and functionality. Apple needs someone like Jobs back.

The iPhones also have "amazing screens", better performance, 5 years of perfect update support (while the S10 will get Android 10 next year in february or so...), FaceID and , yes, iOS. iOS is a big point for most users.

Split screen is an android feature. Samsung has nothing to do with it. I am using the same on my Nokia stock android device from many day.

@@SunilPatil-hs8wd they were the ones that came up with that feature on the Samsung Galaxy S4, which had Jellybean. Android didn't natively support split screen until Android Nougat. So sure the feature isn't exclusive to Samsung phones, but without Samsung the feature wouldn't exist on Android.

I think split screen multi tasking will be just pk on newer devices because now devices have gotten bigger but i think for S10 e it might be a problem.
Mohammad Usman tbh the galaxy fold looks like ass id rather take the note. Theres a big ass notch on the tablet and big bezels on the phone side. Why not just get a note and get more features?
@@jackyingoff6614 true but if you think about it. You get a bigger screen size as well on fold. So you wont notice the notch/bezzel as much but you got a point around note. I think note still has the edge

Do we get 4K 60fps front selfie camera yet? If not, Im staying with my Note 9 til they add this feature in a future phone. Im tired of only 2K 30fps when doing guitar covers n vlogs. 60fps is far superior to 30fps. N not everyone has an available cameraman 24/7 to make sure ur in the frame during a 4K 60fps rear camera recording...
No offense, but that's an incredibly niche need, and most users have no use for 4k selfies. Since it's not something that most people would want to pay the premium for, they probably won't put it on a normal consumer grade phone for a couple more years at least.
Does the S10 have the fast charger included or is it sold separately like how Apple does it?
At least for the past few years Samsung has always included a fast charger in the box, so I would assume that the S10 includes one as well. But don't quote me on that haha

You forgot to mention that the S10 can also record in HR10+ as well.
I’m an iPhone Xs Max user mainly because I prefer iOS over Android but that ultra wide angle rear camera on the S10 is very impressive. I’m still not considering making a switch; that’s not even a logical option for me. I love my iPhone. Hopefully Apple will be having a wider angle lens on both the front and rear facing cameras as well as better low light shots.
With iPhone XS Max , for wide angle I use olloclip lens, and work fine.

I’m an iPhone XS Max user, and love the fluidity of the iOS & especially iMessage, though not a lover of the lack of tweaks & customisations that are available on android phones. Hopefully these will be addressed in iOS 13. The Galaxy s10 lineup looks very impressive & Samsung do make some beautiful phones.
It's funny that when approaching the battery and the cameras they also mentioned S10+ and Xs Max specs, but in the comparison of RAM and storage the didn't. I wonder if It was due to the fear of the video loosing its meaning by the huge gap S10+ imposes with the 12GB of RAM and 1 TB (plus microsd) of its top version.
Who cares about 12GB of RAM? The XS will still hold more apps in the background... Android needs a lot more RAM to provide the same result. That's just a fact...
And 1TB of storage may be an argument for 0.0001% of all customers.
@Procyon they do that up to a point. Beyond 16gb of ram in a PC has very small performance boosts. Samsung really needs to work on ram management instead of just adding more

This year Samsung has all the corners covered even the s19e is a great device, more ram, more storage,more cameras I haven't had a Galaxy in a long time ...I might get one .

You can’t just compare the specs to come to a conclusion. You need to compare the experience and what they provide for the user
Vipop Coombs problem with comparing experiences is that it’s too subjective. For example I absolutely hate how tightly controlled apple experience is, but others hate android for being to difficult on adapt to. Therefore the only thing they can compare is their specs and builds, which showcases technological design advances...

Davey Liu with that being said specs don’t mean everything either. Just because things on paper sound impressive doesn’t mean they are. A 16 megapixel camera isn’t necessarily better than a 12 megapixel camera. 8GB of RAM in a phone doesn’t outperform 4GB. Having more wheels on a truck doesn’t mean the truck goes faster than a Ferrari. Glass is still breakable not matter what. Everything is subjective. Just buy the phone that you like and stop comparing apples to oranges. (This isn’t necessary directed at you, I’m just sick of the “Android VS iPhone” and “Mac VS PC” arguments people have. Although personally I would argue optimisation is key to any user experience)

I think these comparisons are always unfair because the iPhone XS MAX was released in 2018 but s10 in 2019, but it’s still interesting to watch.

Every single year I always see these videos and I always see people fighting in the comment section. In my personal opinion damn near all modern day smart phones are just insane. Looking at how far they’ve come in the last decade is truly mind blowing. They all do the same basic things but at the end of the day it boils down to user preferences

Nice changes Sammy. Still no stainless steel band and I am not a fan of the curved sides. Would rather have the width of the XS Max, stainless steel band and timely updates. Also XS Max has a larger screen. I’ve heard that this years iphone will have bilateral charging too.

It's just a waste of time showing a comparison of an I phone and a top of the line Samsung phone. The I phone lacks so much in innovation, but people who are committed to the brand will still buy it regardless. I have an I phone ,I use it only for work and it sickens me how it performs. YES ! it is my opinion but you can not argue that it is a better phone. When the last I phone dropped ,I compared it with a co workers I phone with my Note 8 . He wanted to return it back but it was to late. I can still only ask, what is the greatest feature of an iPhone that a Samsung cannot do?
The only thing I am jealous of is the wide angle lens. Other than that, it’s another rectangle that runs apps.

The part I don't understand about iPhone, which I used to love until Samsung started waterproofing their phones first, is why anyone would purchase what is essentially a $1000 pocket computer that will not install 3rd party apps unless Apple first approves them. App store policy is completely bogus. If I am spending that much coin I want to be able to install whatever the fug I want.

You want a Phone that needs 8-12GB RAM to compete with an iPhone with 3-4GB? Better choose Android...
@@Raja995mh33 Btw.. In a wide ecosystem like Android, there are multiple manufacturer that are rolling out current versions of android for older systems than apple does (e.g. Xiaomi). There is nothing to complain about, that iPhones treats you as an user, not as an admin. (Just try to install current apps on an iPhone 5, where most of the time on Android an .apk does the job, whether the apps support older versions of android or not.)

Even Xiaomi does NOT do this. Xiaomi only updates their own UI but NOT Android. In terms of Android updates, Xiaomi is just as slow as everyone else.
And even if you count Xiaomi. Who's next? Oh right, there is no one. Even Google themself only gives you 3 years of support for their flagships. And I don't want to start about Samsung, LG and so on.
Android has a lot of benefits, of course. But please stop trying to argue how Android competes in terms of update support and frequences...

Xiaomi does provide current Android security patches, Mi 2 (released at same time as the iPhone 4s - support end was in 2016) got even in 2018 UI and security patches. Nokia is also relasing Android O for all their devices.
Now, what about Samsung, LG and Co.? These companies are imho not providing long term support, BUT you probably heard about Custom ROMs. (Like I said, be the admin if you want to..)

The competing phones are released 6 months apart every year, give or take. When the next iPhone comes out, they'll do the same comparison between it and the S10. I'm not sure what the problem is?

It has face unlock but only the unsecure 2D version over the front camera... And it only can be used to unlock the phone - nothing else.

The S10 does NOT have an iris scanner. Samsung removed it.
It has a inscreen fingerprint scanner and 2D face unlock over the front camera. That's it.

i only chose what comes to my liking. I chose apple iphone 📱 because the simple features is less stressful to my eyes and the simple design(nothing classy but not saying samsung is too classy. actually neither for me because i don't really care), like a soft feature. The only thing thats ridiculous is their products excluding the phone. I also like iphone photo quality because of the small smoothing effect. I know samsung can turn it off anytime
