- What phone has the best camera? Technically speaking the Samsung Galaxy S10 has more features in the camera and a third lens but does that actually make it better than the iPhone XS? Which one do you think wins the king of photography?

My opinion:
Both cameras are amazing but Samsung has a slight edge because of the ultrawide camera.
If you use the pro mode in the S10 for shooting with its camera, it gives you the option to save it as RAW file so you can edit it better
They both had their strengths and weaknesses. It definitely just comes down to personal preference.

As an android user, i prefer the colors of the iphone as always...Samsung on the other gives us the best hardware with poor color calibration..Imagine if apple was incharge of Samsung's Camera tuning Department😍😍..Well i guess we can't have the best of both worlds...

for the portrait mode it feels like the iPhone was shot at a lower f-stop than the S10, like f1.4 vs f1.8 or something since the depth of field is not as pronounced
I think the S10 did better but that doesn't mean the iPhone did bad. Both cameras are incredibly good.

The flares were because of the mudges on the camera glass. Swipe it down before taking any pictures.

Silly question - but if you (Or subscribers) know, I'd appreciate your insight. I'm very new to photography. Is there a Canon Camera (Possibly the Canon EOS 7D?) that will do similar editing to photos as both the phones covered in this video - and will work great for Vlogging? I'd like to stick with a Canon DSLR. Thanks in advance!

for night time selfies-- you were in different lighting for the two photos. i'd like to see a direct comarison of night selfies but in the same lighting scheme to see how they really compare in quality/ colour
Just to clarify one thing, it doesn't matter how the phones process the images, if you plan to edit them later on, you'll save then in RAW anyways. Otherwise nice vid :) keep it up!
Both are great as cameras but i think it really just depends on what operating system you like
You had smudges on your lens at night then because my XS Max doesn't have lens flare like that
Shoot in pro mode and enable the option for RAW if you wish to edit your photos.
Really nice video I really like some features from the s10 Apple should add that, I still prefer xs with lighting situations! Amazing video I love these kind of videos !

I prefer the iPhone pictures and videos but the stabilization on the S10 Plus is insane and the wide angle is awesome.

Xs is way better in my opinion, I don’t like my phone to play with my photos and make changes I want my photos to be natural
you can go to the setting and chose what you want (naturel or motifited ) this why samsung better It leaves absolute freedom with samsung do what you cant
Honestly, anyone that says one of these phones is significantly better than the other has some serious confirmation bias, or needs their eyes checked. Both great phones, each does some things slightly better than other. Can’t go wrong with either phone.

I am a Galaxy user and I think iPhone did better on the portrait but when it came to day time/ wide angle photos the Galaxy just takes the cake

If you just wanna take photos my suggestion is to get a DSLR camera, The iPhone and Samsung phones are okay to take photos, you find the downfall of them is when you wish to crop your photo then you can really see the faults of using such a small lens on the phones in the overall details of your cropped photo
I am still confused which one to choose. Now I’m iphone6s user and it’s time for new phone. I love iphones, but they’re too expensive now and there are some features, that I need, but iphones don’t have. Today I was in store and tested s10 and xs cameras....I don’t know why, but the s10 front camera looked disgusting. My 6s selfie looked much more better than the s10. Maybe because of light, maybe because it was demo version, I don’t know.

I’m an iPhone Xs Max user. Ultimately it boils down to each individuals own personal preference but I do wish the iPhone had the ultra wide lens.

Not too many people are not going to edit their pictures basically post on social media and for that the Galaxy is the best. The night shots goes to Galaxy. For videos I like iPhone better and its ecosystem.

Light flare is because of mudges on the camera. Clean the camera with a cloth before taking pictures.

True, and on the default Camera App. The iPhone has RAW Supported by 3rd party Apps :)

Ultra wide isn't software, that will zoom in your image decreasing quality. The S10 ultra wide is the lense which allows it to keep the quality

Most ppl dont care avout editing the photos later. Most ppl just want to shoot and post social media. So you're basically sayin the s10 photos are better, but the iPhone is better because "you can edit it later"

Both staggering cameras but the XS wins no doubt. Boils down to whether you want more true to life images or more ‘enhanced’ images I suppose.

I hate the beautification of the pictures in samsung specially in selfies (currently using s9 plus). Apple clicks more natural photos which I like.
