    Excellent tutorials. You are detailed! Taking your suggestion the process was successfully duplicated and expanded. At the 1:37 mark you mention the lighter color must be sprayed first. In testing, It didn't matter if the base coat was lighter that the top color, which increased color combinations exponentially. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and technique.

    Good day, Sir. I've been watching your videos for quite sometime and have found that it is fulfilling to try new and different things, I too would love to do something for myself or would have the ability to do it for others. With this creative skill, and the lost art that has been taken away from many school districts it has been proven that this is still needed in our society. Many businesses use this craft and make a profit, but for personal use I myself would take to this a leisure activity that I would want to do as to teaching many people when there is hands free time and opportunities to learn an art and craft for seasonal ventures. Thank you for sharing your gifts, and talents. It has truly been an absolute pleasure and blessing to watch you at work and preferably I'd like to learn more ways to create as I follow your streaming.

    Hello friends, I changed my laser head from Ts2 10W to the TS2 20W, I engrave on ceramic with the Norton method and it comes out gray not black. I tried different speed and power settings, can you please advise which are the correct settings to get good image results for the TS2 20W? In the previous laser head, the 10W I used to use speed 1200 and power 80 and it came out in black and was fine details. Should I be using different settings for the 20W laser head now? I would appreciate your answer. Thank you

    Enjoy your videos. Your process seems to me to be great if you want to make a drink coaster or something for a display. I’m redoing my bathroom soon and want to add a personal touch. Those ceramic tiles have a glaze baked on to make cleaning easier, Is there a procedure to reglaze the tile after the laser has burnt thru the glaze? It wouldn’t be an issue if I was still married ( or maybe) but don’t want a few tiles that the mould can get right into.

    • @PawPawsWorkShop

      @@PawPawsWorkShop hey, thanks for the reply! the interesting thing culturally is why this is sort of a virtue in US, but quite frowned upon in almost all the rest of the world.. in europe it is basically seen as a sign you are a nazi. having a flag of other countries is sort of cool, but your own is kinda lame.. so for example I can have US flag in my US car club patch ;) I lived in US and around the world, even in China and I find these differences really interesting.. of course it matters that so many people from US are veterans.. I grew up in military family and served, but in my home country on Finland military is way less visible.. almost invisible compared to US,.. and this applies to whole Europe. In Germany where I now live, you don't see military either.. Also I am not defined by Finland or military or anything like that.. the US culture is very interesting and identifying yourself via the country seems really normal, no matter if you are left or right.. it is also a country where lot of cool stuff is created by normal people like you.., the way people create stuff is really inspiring .. the level of nationalism just makes me uncomfortable and confused.. (it is patriotism not nationalism? .. well same thing in different words to me..) .. I know every country is for themselves and every country does what ever they can.. this includes lot of bad stuff too.. this is to me reason I find it uncomportable to be "proud" of a country.. the point of democracy is, to me at least that we actually criticize our contries and take responsibility.. I don't want to be proud of a country because that would mean I have to be ashamed for it too, even if Finland for example is always on top of all kinds of graphs, like the happiest nation of the world etc..... all of it is something I had nothing to do with anyways.. how could I be proud of that?.. I think we can be happy where we were born or live in, not much more.... sorry for writing such ramblings! my point was also not to offend.. keep up doing cool project.. even your flags ;)

      Every country in the world has both good and bad in their history. Many people flock to the USA for freedom. I’m not a historian, I am proud of the humanitarian efforts of my country, I am proud that the US military has been able to serve with its aid to many countries. I love the people of all countries. I find that the nature of people to be peaceful and loving. To often the governments of the world dictate the outcome of history. Thank you for your comments. You seem very thoughtful on many issues. I enjoy teaching and have helped people around the world with improving woodworking skills.

      @@PawPawsWorkShop I agree, still military and the wars each country fights can be seen of course from several perspectives... I would imagine the veterans on every part of conflicts think they are "on the good side" from Finnish perspective US has mostly been the "good guys", never even declared war against finland even though Finland joined Germany against the commies.. you did help the commies to fight us though :) and without the help of Germany Finland would have fallen under the soviets.. interesting dilemma then when "rest of the world" sees the germans of that time as monsters and Russians celebrate every year the war where they bombed and invaded their neighbors... term "good guys" becomes blurry... but in general it is clear US helped Finland afterwards to survive and I am thankful for that.. now if we can deal with few wannabe dictators, Finland might join US in Nato even... still I think most of wars US started or took part are way too numerous and could have been dealed in better way.. but that is the politicians who play the games and usually lie to everyone. we see that now in Russia where war is peace and so on. .. luckily people who create beauty, teach and help others are everywhere to balance the evil in the world.. you are one of these people, so thank you! .. one good thing that happens there also is that this kind of hobbies etc unify the world and we see the countries are maybe not that important.. good people are everywhere and it is actually just one group on one planet... ok ok.. I am a dreamer 😂

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comments. I see people from around the world and they all want peace and happiness. They want to work and raise their families. The public do not want war and conflict. You have to look to the politicians and bad leaders who start the wars. That is very disappointing. I truly wish the world could be at peace and that all of us could share our talents to make an even better world.

    When using the rustoleum painters touch 2x brand of paint, using the exact same method as you, the gloss black has a bad reaction with the apple red. Ive tried it several times and always the same result. The black imediately curdles when it hits the red. I dont know if its the red or the black causing this. So far it is only with black over red. Black over gold works great.
    Right now i have red drying to topcoat with white and see what happens.
    EDIT 8-15-22: After some more testing, I can say for sure that it is the Rustoleum Painters Touch 2X Apple Red that is causing the reaction. Anything I topcoat it with has a chemical reaction and ruins the finish. DO NOT USE Rustoleum Painters Touch 2X APPLE RED.

    4:46 You're spraying an un-keyed, gloss, non porous surface....it's hardly surprising that the paint peels off. In fact, you're lucky to find ANY spray paint that will adhere properly to a substrate like this, especially in the long term. Don't be surprised to find that customers complain that their items are peeling or flaking in a fairly short time. Please don't think that I'm hating on you or anything...I love your work and your videos...I'm just offering an observation, based on many years' experience in this field. 😀👍👍

      What does un-keyed mean? I’m spraying exact same paint on gloss tiles let dry 24 hours slightest bump paint scratched off. Try to clean painted tile like shown, the under color disappears!! I’m doing everything the same and get bad results. Please help

    • @Jer0867
      @Jer0867 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@patriotwoodworker6092 To “key” a surface means to prepare it for spraying or painting. It's generally not necessary on rough or porous surfaces, as whatever you're applying will grip onto (or absorb into) it. But when painting/spraying a smooth, non porous substrate like a tile, metal, glass, etc, you must first roughen it, maybe by using abrasive paper or wire wool etc. The surface of (say) a glossy tile can be as grease free and clean as anything, but if it is not prepared correctly (i.e. “keyed”) the coating will not stay on there for long. Hope that helps!

      I have discussed copyright many many times as has most every creator out there. Thank you for your concern and as always do not sell copyrighted material without permission
