this one was my first drone....for $50 it is great...It only takes me about 40 minutes to charge the battery...and you get about 7-9 minutes run time....I just got 2 extra batteries so now I have 4 batteries...What I do is set the timer on my phone for 7 minutes....then just bring the drone back when the timer hits zero....I believe if you are not in headless mode the lights on the drone start to flash when the battery gets low.

I know I’m a year late, but I’m new to drones and would love to learn and continue to increase my knowledge and get a better drone down the line, way down the line. Question, when it states that it hovers, hover to me is head straight up and stay in that position. So when I hit the left toggle up and the drone heads upward, it doesn’t just stay there, it heads on into another direction. I saw when you did the same inside, the same thing result. Can you give me a little insight, I’m scratching my head now. My hover means up and fly to one side. Of course it’s freezing where I am and I tried to fly it indoors because it reads that it “hovers”. Thanks for this video, I’ve had this drone for about a year or even two. The first time this happened when I got it, I just gave up and threw it back in the case, thinking awww shoot, it’s broken or I broke it when it ran into the wall😂😂. Again thanks for this video, it has given me a little courage to try it again. I’d like to take drone flying up as a hobby now that I’m retired. 😊😊😊

Not at all, no training is needed to operate a drone, the behavior of that drone is very erratic and completely different from how a stabilized DJI drone behaves. There are factors that one must learn to pilot drones but that toy will not give you any of them

There should be 2 buttons. A camera button and a record button. Possibly your pressing the camera and not record? All footage gets recorded directly to you photos app on your phone

Usually there's one of those phone scan scribblily squares printed in the user manual; you aim your phone's camera at it, and it will either open to the webpage or start downloading the needed app. Do make sure your phone's Wifi is on and you're connected to the internet. Update if needed.
Someone on Amazon posted that his drone wouldn't work with his android phone. And you're using an iPhone, so what do you know about that? I'm about to buy my first drone but what if it doesn't work with an android, I'd really think they'd all work with Android by now.
I had a few drones simalar to this one for 15 and 20 euro on Aliexpress. 720p and 1080p . range about 30 - 40 meters. I also bought a few on fleemarkets for 5 euro, just to see if i could improve the antenna`s and get further. Yes you have to adjust the “trim” there are instructions in the manual on how to do this

Hover just means strait up and stays in one place as I did in the garage. But then you can fly it around
