the funny scene at the end is part of a whole series of quests with a man named Hildibrand - it is some of the most hilarious and enjoyable content MMO's can offer. available starting at level 50, i highly recommend making time to experience it, it became a fan favorite and they keep adding more every couple patches to keep it going, and its all absolute gold :)
Void Ark Alliance Raids were done with creator of Kingdom Hearts, so they have Kingdom Hearts spin on them :) So once you'll be lvl 60 and you will finish base Heavensward expansion story, you can unlock that :)

The most likely reason against some of the free trial communication limits is that RMT whisper spam and RMT friend request spam used to be huge issues in FF14. It got to the point I had to set myself to perpetually /busy and turn off system sounds to silence the walls of pink text that would ping every 5 seconds even in cutscenes, plus an always full blacklist.

Skipping ARR is like skipping The Fellowship of the Ring. Yeah both are slow at points, but you learn who everyone is, and why your fighting.
Also the reason free players are limited are to stop gil sellers.
The Nier music is actually blended with FF music in the Nier raids. Like Kaine's theme mixed with FF theme or Weight of the World mixed with The Prelude theme.
If the person is still near you when you want to thank them, you can always /bow but I know you said this one had run off.

Jessie did a great job but he hasnt done any end game raiding in FFXIV so he doesnt know that Ultiamtes are harder than anything in WoW
They are easier than week 1 mythic raids, but that's only because week 1 mythic raids aren't made to be cleared, they're made to make the world first raiders dance like monkeys on stream.
While the idea of having more voice lines would be nice to have in 14, it would also make the game files too large since it is still under 60gb in size and takes away from the core of older FF games were played as. also we never speak of kingdom hearts without the mouse's lawyers present.
The game teaches you how to play well and better. Once you reach endgame and finish Shadowbringers, probably do Savage raids, you'll fully understand the thought of that concept.
Its really not hate against WoW.

also, when you check out pvp, check out rival wings! its essentially ffxiv's mmo version of a MOBA kind of pvp, but with more people :)
The 14 community loves their sprouts. But fair warning, once you get to the more high-end content, expect more frequent instances of toxicity. Just ask Rich or Zepla how the community reacted when they cleared one of the 3 ultimates. It's not a big portion of the community, but it's a pretty vocal minority.
The free trial limitations are there mainly to stop RMT from adverising their gil selling services etc
the ARR content is good, but slower (thats 1-50), from what ive learned of you, i think you will LOVE heavensward, 50-60. its many peoples favorite section of story for sure. :)

40:20 that is something that I may have been guilty of myself, especially with WoW. And I apologize for it. I guess it comes (at least for me) from knowing the game well enough that I recognize where I made mistakes that may have impacted negatively my later gaming experience. But since I enjoy WoW overall and I wanted you to enjoy it as well, I was a little too apprehensive about you committing the same mistakes and more than impolite in expressing myself.
It's all good, I know that deep down inside everyone just wants people to enjoy the game as much as they did. No harm, no foul. :)

The thing you hated about 14 is you read alot. My dude, all you do in your twitch channel is reading. You don't seem to feel bothered with it because of your attitude towards it.

it’s so upsetting that trikslayer played kingdom hearts before he ever play any final fantasy… also, I keep forgetting that trick isn’t inundated into the gaming culture that I love and he would willfully choose to be a valorant player… feels badsman furthermore He’s so uninformed it hurts my souls… Kingdom hearts/Disney ripped off final fantasy not the other way around. and imo kingdom hearts and especially it’s sequel are such shit games compared to the likes of say ff5, ff6, ff7 and my favorite, ff9. all of which came out decades before kingdom hearts.

I mean, FFXIV's *problems* can't hold a candle to WoW's, that's for certain. But let's stop pretending that WoW hasn't been killing itself for years. FFXIV's just been consistently decent to good after A Ream Reborn and it's gaining the attention it deserves cause of that. Not that FFXIV doesn't have its long standing problems. However, WoW could easily retain its undeniable throne if it bothered to clean itself up. I really feel bad for WoW loyalists. Blizzard/Activision is really treating them poorly and they deserve better. WoW deserves better.
@@KalarMeadia Yeah but as you said, it is Blizzard in general mining their own fanbase. But the game alone was pioneer in many aspects to mmorpgs, and where many other games lived and died, WoW keeps on living.
