I am an American. My uncle is 103 years old. He.was born in Czechoslovakia, moved to the U.S. and signed up to fight in WW II. He wanted to fight to protect his new country, as well as, to retaliate against Hitler for invading and taking over his homeland of Czechoslovakia. He fought and was wounded during the invasion of Normandy and had participated in every D Day celebration in Normandy up until this present year. He did participate in a local D Day celebration this year at home. It has been 80 years, but he remembers everything from the war very vividly and I know that this is true for every veteran who fought in every war. God bless them all!.
God Bless your Uncle. I spent 16 years working in Veterans’ Long Term Care. The Greatest Generation.❤️ Today is Veterans’ Day in the USA, and Remembrance Day in Canada and the UK. At 11-11-11 General John Pershing, Woodrow Wilson and the 116,000 American troops who died fighting fascism in WWI, will officially spin in their graves. The democracy they fought for has been handed to a dictatorial mad man, and his evil sycophants, who in turn will hand an independent Nation State, Ukraine, over to another mad man, Putin. “Take up our quarrel with the foe. To you, from failing hands we throw the torch - be yours to hold it high. Congratulations to the Royal British Legion, BBC, and Adrian Lester for a wonderful event from Australia 🇦🇺.
Even after all these years I still cry those wonderful brave men and this world is a mess shameful they would have loved to have lived & didn't 😢

Absolutely fabulous show give it to the British they know how to put on a show dry moving 🇮🇪
Thank you. Remember the soldiers from The Irish Republic who fought and died too, their sacrifice must never be forgotten either.
I've attended the Irish Regiments' Remembrance Parade at the Cenotaph and it is a really special event ☘
Well done , back on the more traditional lines to honour those who serve , have served and those who gave their all never to return to their loved ones all to protect our Country from those who would do us ill , it would be a great folly to forget and betray the legacy of these people WE must never let that happen . Last night was a magnificent display of gratitude by the British people something as a country and population we excel at .
Amazing!
God Save His Majesty The King
and Bless The Royal Family!!!
I don't know how they have the nerve to be there they should be ashamed of themselves as should Kier Stalin
Who are you talking about... The Royal family were very involved with the war movement during the war years and ever since.. how dare you insinuate anything else.
As for Starmer.. he should not be there at all.
@@jenniferhaldane2819
@@jenniferhaldane2819I didn't notice Two Tier Starmer was at the Albert Hall...... No doubt he will be at Whitehall later on.
Medals for what bugger all at least Charlie's son and brother went on the Battle field what did he do as for his mate Stama he and his anti British lot should NOT have been there!!!!!!!
Dieu doit sauver les peuples avant de sauver les dirigeants des peuples

Wonderful evening. Proud to be British.
I was part of the muster 1992-1995, it was an honour to be there representing the Royal Auxiliary Air Force. I do feel sorry for those people who were out of step whilst marching. Another stunning performance.

Son admirables!!! Me gusta qué los paises😢 sigan con sus tradiciones y recuerden a sus héroes.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
All heroes who paid with their tomorrows for our todays. Please don't betray the country they fought for Mr Starmer. Be proud and look after our own people. Not those who come to do us harm.
Starmer is not on our side
Colinbrimsted4846 well said. I Cannot stand betrayers.2TR et al.
I fear this will fall on deaf ears, Starmer is not a patriotic man. He is a destroyer of our history and our values
Starmer the hypocrite.
Starmer the traitor.
Always Admire The British Traditions.
