I worked at Subway restaurants when I was a teen. It is hard to imagine how I would have felt and reacted if I later learned that during one of my work shifts that a customer had brought a dead child into the restaurant and then ate a sandwich I made for them while they sat with the dead child. It honestly would probably have been about as traumatizing as if someone came into the restaurant to rob the place and shot my coworkers to death in front of me.

I firmly believe some children are screwed from the beginning simply because their parents are trash. Thats why I have a deep respect for people that give their kids up for adoption knowing they'll have a fair chance at life that way. Its sad af man, kids are defenseless.

Don't kid yourself, adoption has its horror stories on both sides of the equation - no one helps these women grieve after they've given up their babies and not all children go to happy/healthy homes.
The end result would be different because different choices were made but don't fool yourself that different magically makes it better.

My biological mother was not a good mother. She knew she couldn't care for me so she gave me to my grandparents, then spent her entire life alleging that they kidnapped me. she's a raging alcoholic/druggie. Giving me up was the only mature decision she ever made in her entire life.

so are animals.. see it as karma maybe.
amazing how people can feel so sorry for the innocence of a child (and rightly so. don't get me wrong) but .. the same people who care so much about the innocence of a child.. will pay others to abuse torture enslave oppress and rape. and mutilate innocent baby animals..
bacon for example.. is no grown pig who had a full life.. it's a baby.
so when these things happen.. people should ask themselves.. why does this occur? is it simply the evil of a sick human?
OR does it go far deeper? karma perhaps?

Not as violent as Maryssa but still beatings out of anger were part of our daily lives. Over 85 now she is still wondering why her children are not fond of her. I think the word tolerance is the key. The perception of children being so intolerable creatures only skilled people like herself can put up with them, therefore they are supposed to be admired and appreciated for having so much "tolerance".

Boy oh boy,. As a parent of a larger than average family, it's astounding these serial abusers still try to use the "oh the kid fell off the chair, the couch, or down the stairs" excuse. Kids are pretty durable against normal knocks, bumps, and trips. Not so much when they are attacked by a maniac. More likely Benson was colicky, hungry, may have been fed something that upset his tummy, was uncomfortable, or just needed to be changed and the murder-sitter decided her previously well-established habit of beating children's heads would resolve the situation. And who allows a brain damaged woman, who lost custody of her own children, to become the neighborhood daycare?!? This whole story is a symphony of horrible decisions.

These type of women are “addicted” if you will, to being pregnant. Being pregnant is a powerful thing in many ways. These women need the attention that comes with being pregnant. It’s their fuel.
Once these children are no longer infants? They lose their allure. And then they’re often abused at the hands of their “mother” ensuring that the child of this raw sewage of a human being will be removed from her care. Then…the woman can repeat the sick cycle.
I know I’ll get some flak for saying this but…folks like this woman should be sterilized. She’s proven over and over that she is absolutely incapable of being a decent parent, has nothing to offer the world, that she’s got no problem with bringing precious lives into her world knowing that she will fail them, she’s burdening an already overwhelmed foster care system, and costing her state and the taxpayers thousands of dollars in various resources. I’m not a eugenics fan. But for the love of all that’s holy…for the sake of the innocent babies she knowingly puts in harms way which includes lethal levels of neglect?!!
Sorry. No more pregnancies for you you F-king ghoul. I’m sorry about the awful circumstances this woman went through as a child. Nobody deserves that. But she should’ve gotten help as she became an adult. I suppose it’s “not fair” in her mind that she’d have to work on it with a therapist (I think all people would benefit from therapy, personally) but she must not be allowed to blame her current practice of abuse on her awful childhood. That’s not the way it works. RIP little man. 🙏🏼
