I modified my ECU with this hack on my 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Worked perfectly.

Very cool. I'm on my third one of these with my 93 Dakota. I'm gonna try to
repair one of my old modules. Replacements are not cheap. And I'll have
extras. These things can be a ghost in your machine. Thanks!!! 🍻 -Al

Great job on the ECM and video. Two questions: 1) Your potting material has the same light spot just below and a little to the left where you plug it in. It looks like it got hot in the spot and bubbled the potting material. Is this an issue? 2) My crank case position sensor keeps going out every year causing the motor to shut down. Will replacing the capacitors correct this problem? THANK YOU!

Did you test the old and new capacitors with an ohm meter to verify if they had shorted or were good?

My board has different size caps. One is 470 uf I think (hard to read...) but definitely looks different. f.y.i. I like to buy my caps from Digi-Key. They have any size Japan caps.

@@waltj08 Thank you, I must have jumped ahead. Ended up using EGS10C-20G-ND. Non-corrosive is key for circuit boards. Thanks for your video!
