Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
The justice league scene was in the wrong place too. They're building up the Batman v Superman fight that is about to happen and all of a sudden the momentum is broken by Wonder Woman opening up the email.
I gotta say I like this review so much better than the other one. And I actually think you were a lot more fair to this movie than a lot of other places. Thank you for the review.
+Ryan Cudd you're right I agree, the camera was on like one of those deep sea drones and he was like inbetween a few rocks and came out slowly until he realized what the hell it was
Jace Phillips I enjoyed Lex Landis. He was fun to watch, and the rest of the movie was kind of fucked anyway so character accuracy wasn't a concern anymore.
This movie was Dark Knight Returns, Flashpoint Paradox, Death and Return of Superman , and Injustice lol smh very cool to see but damn it these stories should've been told for years to come.
I actually like the idea that the Wonder Woman solo movie is basically gonna be the story of how that photo came together. what didnt work for me the most is the fact that Superman apparently knows when and WHERE Lois Lane is in mortal danger and is there in time (no matter where she and he himself is at the given moment) to safe her. YET he has no idea where or when his MOTHER (granted... adopted) is in danger. so the whole idea of Luthor kidnapping here and holding her hostage to make Superman fight Batman DIDNT work for me AT ALL.
This is probably hands down my favorite BvS Spoiler talk video on youtube! You both make a dynamic duo and I would've love to have been there to share my opinion about the movie as well :D
When you guys were talking about the Batman theme, I agree with what you referenced. But in the actual movie, there's a lot of moments that reminded me a lot of the Elfman score, which made me feel like a little kid again.
I don't understand the hate. I didn't go into the theaters expecting an Oscar worthy script. I went into the theater to enjoy the historic clash between DC's giants and I absolutely fucking loved it. The action was terrific. Thoroughly satisfied to the point that I can ignore/forgive the flaws. Will probably watch it again!
The problem is, the setup for the fights in the movie are so retarded it goes beyond just "not an Oscar worthy script." It's straight up death of logic entirely, and that takes me out of it. It didn't need to be the next Dark Knight, but it at least needed to make sense within it's own internal logic for me to enjoy it. Looked great, but that's about it.
Flick Pick - Thanks for not being a terd and posting this spoiler review 2 days ago. Some of the movie reviewers, that I follow, did this and it was extremely hard to not click on it. Way to much temptation to hear all about it, instead of experiencing the film for yourself. As always, you are kick ass. Keep it up!
I watched it last night and it was....Good, actually really good and not what I expected! I think all the bad reviews and pessimistic views on the film lowered my expectations so much that I went out satisfied. Personally I found the movie much better than Man Of Steel, and the editing was better imo. I found the Batman "killing people" concern a bit blown up, as he didn't kill anyone directly by his own hands except the Nightmare scene, and all of the people he "killed" was caused by his vehicles (except one) and I think that this Batman has lost hope after what happened to Robin, but at the end of the film, I believe Bruce has gotten more hope. Wonderwoman was cool as hell, her scenes made the audience really happy and made me hyped for her own movie next year. Superman had some really interesting scenes, and he seem to have gotten more hero like since Man of Steel, as he acts more like the character in the comics now. He was also very hesitant to do some acts, which I won't mention, which shows that he has moral compass which atleast resembles his comic counterpart. The way that other future members of the justice league were hinted at was a bit clunky, but it made me and my friends giddy and had a nerdgasm, but I could definitly see FANSERVICE plastered on the screen, but still pretty cool. Though I can totally understand what people have complained about the movie. I watched it like it was an adaptation of Injustice or another elseworld story, which is the case of many CBMs that I watch. Oh and another thing, don't let the bad reviews sink you down too much, watch the movie for yourselves.
+Homunculus97 Um.. people clearly in those cars. Superman only reacts to things the whole movie like he doesn't really take charge to do something. Also Batman was really dumb in this movie because he thought Supes was talking about his mom? The floating little bruce wayne scene was stupid, Lex Luthor was weird and the fact he was behind everything made no sense and was kind of BS and Wonder Woman's voice was weird like one moment she would be speaking normal english but when she's in costume she speaks almost broken english. I would go on and on but I won't but I just want to say that every time they referenced or showed the future of the movies it felt out of place and jarring.
No he actively tries to kill people. He ram cars with the batmobile. The batmobile has machine guns. He burns a guy alive to save Martha. He stabs a guy almost in the heart. He uses the grappling hook to shoot through a guy to pull him over.
I really don't understand why so many people hated it. I genuinely loved it. The editing in the first hour was very bad and the movie is pretty unfocused. HOWEVER, I will still very interesting in everything that was going on. I just didn't like how it jumped from scene to scene so randomly with no flow. There's so much good in the movie, especially all the performances. Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg were amazing. Gal Gadot was great too. And I was totally against Eisenberg and Gadot's casting.. They both surprised the hell out of me. I was actually onboard with Ben Affleck being cast and he proved me right :'). 8.5/10
+WolverinesNation92 Mindless action doesn't make a movie good. The Story was fuckin ridicoulus . The Zack Snyder's eye-candy is trying to convince people that this movie is good. It's not.
+WolverinesNation92 i saw it once and i fucking hated it because that editing was so horrendous until they got to lex's party i was like okay i can fucking breath but everything was just edited really bad and first i was 2 out of 5 but seeing it again it made me like it a bit more so now i feel like its a 3.5 out of 5
SPOILERS Pros: The Score Knightmare Batman Fight Scenes Last scene with Lex and Batman in Prison Cons: Rushing the justice league cameo scenes. especially the flash scene talking to bruce in the dream. it came outta no where like JOHN CENA. it was like an acid trip. THE STORYLINE BLOWS Slow 1st hour of the film with shitty info we already saw in the trailers. Lex sucked except a couple of scenes like the ending. And the worst editing I have ever seen. 6.8/10
The Batman v Superman soundtrack is bloody fantastic, its fucking creepy as hell and sad at the same time I get chills every time I listen to it. And the Man of Steel soundtrack? BRILLIANT, even better than The dark knight soundtrack. HANS ZIMMER DOES EVERYTHING RIGHT IN MY EARS
I gave it a 7/10. Pretty good. It's a little jumpy/choppy like you said and one of the dream sequences confused the hell outta me. Batman was magnificent, he was very Miller-esque in this, he did not give 2 shits and honestly the no-kill rule shouldn't apply to the dark Batman. Superman felt more like Superman, more boyscout-ish and less Zod-ish. Wonder Woman, God, I expected to not like her.. But she was rad as hell and I can't wait to see more of her. The major surprise was Eisenberg as Luthor, he was so damn creepy and monstrous in a sense.. I can't wait to see more of him. The cameos were neat too. The DC universe I feel will pick up and smooth out as it goes on because right now they're still trying to build up to JLA. So it is mostly setup right now, but I wasn't bored honestly, I was entertained and intrigued by the character development we got. The fight scenes were AMAZING. CGI heavy of course, but amazing nonetheless... When they were all fighting Doomsday I had a fanboyboner going on. I can't wait to see what happens later on. Hopefully when the JLA movie hits, Snyder focuses on a more straightforward movie instead of throwing in some jumpy sequences (which like I said, confused me).
+Chad Hotelling Well in all fairness my Flick Trips (Videos talking about movies while in the car) have been around since 2010 before Cinema Sins existed... Just saying.
I like how when Chris said he fairly liked what he saw some random guy just went woo! It sounded like it was meant towards what Chris had just said haha
The film besides the last 20 minutes was the best film of all time, like lex luthor throwing the photos at supermans feet, the batman with half his helmet scared/ torn off, the awesome dream sequence/ time travel the kryptonite hoax against batman looking all badass post apocolyptic where he just fought guys and wasted them and just keep going, dragging that guy behind him, saving him, fighting until he was taken down ..the girls staying in the cage until batman had left, the batman fight scene to save Martha where he just killed/ decimated..fuck the details, batmans fighting gave me chills and fuelled the part of me that's craves awesomeness. The thing when superman gets set up, everyone blows up and he's unscathed and that sad powerful moments after alone in the fire room. But the funeral/ doomsday fight and the lex luthor end scene.. Da da da da da.. Da da it's like dude just shut up. Idk... Best film ever ... Besides the last ten minutes or so
Do you even know what you're talking about. I can't accept others opinion? What so you think it's normal to just hate a film without even watching it cos a grumpy critic said so? That is my opinion on the movie, the first 3/4 were a master piece
+HawkeyE MasterRace same here I actually really liked that one... like cyborg and aquamans didn't work for me but Chris pines little picture really worked
+TheFlickinCritic The Wonder Woman movie is a prequel set in WW1 and Chris Pine is in the movie and will probably be the love interest, I'll be surprised if they don't show them taking that picture
+Jar Jar Boinks yeah ik he's in the movie I'm just saying I really liked that touch that they used with the picture... felt way more natural than the awkward cameos in the film... except for flashs' cameo during the knight mare sequence... I liked that hopefully it's foreshadowing
I met the actor who played Miles Dyson many years back while working at a supermarket...he came to my line. He was surprised that I recognized him. Very nice dude. One perk of working in Montclair, NJ was meeting Yogi, Strahan, etc...Other than that, working in retail blows. Seeing this film tonight. Expectations low, but IMAX should be cool.
Upon first viewing, I thought the fight scene between Batman and Superman in this movie was awesome. Then re-watching it on TH-cam, I realized that all it is is Batman beating the crap out of Superman for five minutes. It sucks.
This movie is undoubtedly the biggest let down ever in movie history! It failed on so many levels that WB should hold their heads in shame. This was meant to put DCEU universe on the map but all its done is potentially destroy an already weak franchise.
Man, I would love to go the movies with these guys forreal. They really know what they're talking about. I gotta check the other guy out too (fatmovieguy, I guess that's his channel name). Thank for making this; that intro had me laughing.
***** So i cant dislike a film eventhough it had huge pacing problems, a cheap plot and was ruined in the marketing? Ok imma go smoke the rest of my crack
+Axel Djärv Agree man. I wanted to like it so bad, but from a critical standpoint, it's just a mess. I feel like people are really ignoring it's problems and they shouldnt. We deserve a better movie than this and Zach Snyder needs to be fired from Justice League. He cannot handle this many characters and plots.
You kidding me? The Nolan Batman trilogy and the first two Raimi Spiderman films are fantastic. They actually understand the characters and develop them. We care about them because we understand their problems and want them to succeed. This film does none of that. Hey if you want to just watch crazy action, then that's awesome for you. I love the art of filmmaking and I deeply analyze them, so certain films like this just don't work for me. I am a big comic fan as well, so of course when good action meets good characters i end up loving the film. Though I will say I didn't like the action in this film either, except for the great Batman scene when he fought the thugs.
+HeibeTV DD is notorious for the death of Superman. There is no way they will do DD without doing the death of Superman without angering a whole bunch of people, meaning they wasted DD. If they didn't want the death of Superman they wouldn't put DD in there.
i enjoyed it except the lazy justice league set ups and it taking forever to get to Batman vs superman but i liked it and loved all the fan service! 7.5/10
Stuckmann and FLICKpick. The ultimate bromance.
I think they divorced.
Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Maverick Hamza Instablaster =)
Tell that to John and Chris' snapped friendship.
Here in 2022, they should make more videos together (at their own pace).
he actually called it out superman died
""""""""""die""""""""""" in like a bazillion quotes
At least the Thor moment in Age of Ultron was an actual scene, he didn't just open an email from Heimdall...
The justice league scene was in the wrong place too. They're building up the Batman v Superman fight that is about to happen and all of a sudden the momentum is broken by Wonder Woman opening up the email.
#EasterEggEmail
Yeah, and what about that knightmare scene! The scene itself was awesome, but it came out of no where!!!!
+Brian Hurst LOL so true
+nvrules27 You're right. I thought the Flash saying Lois Lane is the key was going to come into play, but it never did.
Holy shit John's prediction came true! Kinda...
Damn John! Are you sure you didn't see this before the pre-drive to the movie?
I gotta say I like this review so much better than the other one. And I actually think you were a lot more fair to this movie than a lot of other places. Thank you for the review.
Man, John called it with Superman
This was such a great vid with the tree of you!!! Thanks!
☆Three
+welovetofloat wrote a comment himself, liked it himself and replied to ithimself . way to go
+welovetofloat Thanks! I was honored to be invited to geek out with Chris and John.
Rrock Cj huh?
actually aquaman reminded me of curious shark and waited to strike. it was awesome
Shut up
k...........no.
+triigga s No. Just Stop Troll.
Trying too hard to justify it
+Ryan Cudd you're right I agree, the camera was on like one of those deep sea drones and he was like inbetween a few rocks and came out slowly until he realized what the hell it was
I didn't care about the superhero cameos, but Neil DeGrasse Tyson's cameo was awesome!!!
Zoolander 2?
+KissMyAsthma true
I thought Wonder Woman's theme was fuckin' kick ass.
I thought the first time lex Luther was introduced was cool too
Jace Phillips I enjoyed Lex Landis. He was fun to watch, and the rest of the movie was kind of fucked anyway so character accuracy wasn't a concern anymore.
Aquamans cameo was like a Loreal commercial. XD
Thanks for being so welcoming to the fans! That always means a lot. :)
what an epic foreshadowing talk at the beginning of this video
This movie was Dark Knight Returns, Flashpoint Paradox, Death and Return of Superman , and Injustice lol smh very cool to see but damn it these stories should've been told for years to come.
I need a friend like these guys are friends...
This is one of my favorite videos from you John. I've watched it like 3 times...
+MovieMania TV Thanks pal, these are my favorite videos to make.
So john IS putting on that deep voice in some of his videos! His voice sounds totally normal here
Dang, you noticed long before John revealed that It was something He was just trying out.
Very Good Point
And also the bomb scene, like he literally can hear her from countries away but couldn't hear the ticking bomb
That’s exactly what I though
close to 200k subs John, Congrats!!
That opening 😂 loved it
This is probably hands down my favorite BvS Spoiler talk video on youtube! You both make a dynamic duo and I would've love to have been there to share my opinion about the movie as well :D
John's video is more entertaining than the whole movie
When you guys were talking about the Batman theme, I agree with what you referenced. But in the actual movie, there's a lot of moments that reminded me a lot of the Elfman score, which made me feel like a little kid again.
Has no one seen Batman (1989) or Batman Returns? That guy kills everyone.
Ikr.
+aldridgejay Are you defending Batman kiling, or the Batman from the comics who doesn't kill?
+aldridgejay Right like he set a guy on fire lol
+Nathan McRaye Some earlier iteration of batman in the comics kills as well.
Devilrose I doubt anyone from the 1940's is going theatres to watch this though.
I Think the Bam Bam Bam theme grew on you John, because through the years you added them to your videos
I don't understand the hate. I didn't go into the theaters expecting an Oscar worthy script. I went into the theater to enjoy the historic clash between DC's giants and I absolutely fucking loved it. completely agree
Agreed.

It was cute when you said you were getting tingly, but for gods sake, keep your hands on the wheel Chris! XD
I'm sure every theater in the world screamed with joy with Wonder Woman's entrance in the Doomsday fight

Reading that was so unintentionally funny
thai duong cao
That’s fine because it’s not canon they can do whatever they want with the characters
That fist Falsh's cameo, Injustice guys! the Injustice comics!!!
John pretty much exactly said the ending in the car on the way there.
I ABSOLUTELY love the time when you guys make videos together! I can't stop laughing lol Help!!!
I can't believe that these guys are actually friends in real life!
Lol they've been friends for likr 8 years
This is a monument to unrewarded optimism. Just how I felt going into the film.
I really don't understand why so many people hated it. I genuinely loved it. The editing in the first hour was very bad and the movie is pretty unfocused. loved it too, people will hate
I'm glad you were able to enjoy it, but for me it was a mixed bag. Not horrible, but not particularly great.
C+ to B
Same, but it just took me out sometimes, I think is a good movie but the story felt a little disjointed, I need to see the uncut director's version
+WolverinesNation92 Mindless action doesn't make a movie good. The Story was fuckin ridicoulus . The Zack Snyder's eye-candy is trying to convince people that this movie is good. It's not.

Mr. FLICKpick. I bow in respect for your "Death of superman" theory. Fucking bullseye!
Superman is not dead...
Abraham Rodriuez No shit..
+Abraham Rodriuez Does anyone stay dead in comics?
John you have to take Chris to the gym sometime
+kyle langford Why are you so concerned about another man's body?
+zack19192 why are you so concerned about my comment
+kyle langford damn that burn 😂😂
Connorsmitht How is that a burn, you spastic?
Nooo chris is the tattoo guy and john is the meathead. It works lol
SPOILERS
Pros:
The Score
Knightmare Batman
Fight Scenes
Last scene with Lex and Batman in Prison
Cons:
Rushing the justice league cameo scenes. especially the flash scene talking to bruce in the dream. it came outta no where like JOHN CENA. it was like an acid trip.
THE STORYLINE BLOWS
Slow 1st hour of the film with shitty info we already saw in the trailers.
Lex sucked except a couple of scenes like the ending.
And the worst editing I have ever seen.
6.8/10
Guys this is awesome! do more of this if it's feasible :) :)
John I like how you predicted the ending of the film the minute before getting into the theatre
Watch out, Jeremy from Cinema Sins is going to cry that you stole his idea for a video
Haha
+Chad Hotelling Well in all fairness my Flick Trips (Videos talking about movies while in the car) have been around since 2010 before Cinema Sins existed... Just saying.
apply some ice to that burn
lol get wrecked Chad
+theFLICKpick Rekt. RIP Cinemasins
Miss these two together!
That intro slayed 😂

that Left-hand handshake thou...
John forces other John to shake with his left hand
+Brady Miller Ha, I had to due to holding the camera.
I like how when Chris said he fairly liked what he saw some random guy just went woo! It sounded like it was meant towards what Chris had just said haha

typical DC fanboy. cant accept other people opinion
Do you even know what you're talking about. I can't accept others opinion?
What so you think it's normal to just hate a film without even watching it cos a grumpy critic said so? That is my opinion on the movie, the first 3/4 were a master piece
Watching this now again and realized that John was completely right with his theory. Well done!
The movie is good, it's just the Zack Snyder Effect, that divides everyone
Yeah not because he made a bad movie
+Álvaro A. i like the action... story and pacing... that's different story
I gotta say, huge respect for giving that guy in the hat a chance to talk with you in the video.
Best fucking intro ever :D
+stewazy Instant thumbs up for the Batman Begins recreation!
John your prediction was soooo spot on
Loved this movie. I rate the Dark Knight then this when it comes to DC movies.
"I am not recognized of course." That made me laugh so hard xD
Did anyone else notice Chris Pine in the picture? I thought that was cool
First time I see anyone mention that thank you
+HawkeyE MasterRace same here I actually really liked that one... like cyborg and aquamans didn't work for me but Chris pines little picture really worked
+TheFlickinCritic The Wonder Woman movie is a prequel set in WW1 and Chris Pine is in the movie and will probably be the love interest, I'll be surprised if they don't show them taking that picture

i thought i was trippin. thiught was him huu
THANK YOU!!!! Someone who gets the Martha scene
I was entertained by the movie, all I care about.
i loved the music. might be my favorite theme for batman
Good to see you're still friends with Chris after you kicked his ass on Movie Fights! :P
first fair review i have seen since the movie came out!
Chris seems super pissed but he is keeping it low key.
IMAX 70mm is amazing trust me! You won't be disappointed:D
Upon first viewing, I thought the fight scene between Batman and Superman in this movie was awesome. Then re-watching it on TH-cam, I realized that all it is is Batman beating the crap out of Superman for five minutes. It sucks.
im on a binge of chris and flick collabs
11:21 Lois is the key to all of this. If we get Lois working, cause she's a funny character than we've ever had in any of the movies.
You guys are hilarious! Enjoy both channels
I was great 8,5/10
This movie needs multiple viewings for enjoy it more :)
but fans shouldn't have too...
+Kal-El fan 49 my note too.
Same score for me too. Can't wait to see it again
U would spend another 2 hours n 30 mins watching the whole thing for only 30 mins of fighting
same i loved it haters will hate
You're a genius John! or are you psychic. the intro for this video made my day
David Ayre should direct the rest of the DC movies, I just know he will kick ass
Oh, i get It now!! "Dawn of Justice " means stands for the dawn of justice league
After seeing this movie I can safely say I'm excited for civil war!!
Just wanted to let you know that both you and Chris among the best reviews on TH-cam. Keep doing what you do Johnny boy!
This movie is undoubtedly the biggest let down ever in movie history! It failed on so many levels that WB should hold their heads in shame. This was meant to put DCEU universe on the map but all its done is potentially destroy an already weak franchise.
THANK YOU! Someone agrees with me.
No1 cares what u think..
Maybe for you, I, along with lots of other people really enjoyed it.
absolutely not
I pretty much loved it. Sooooo
I love your relationship with each other!
I think JL will be better because it won't need to set up anything except for like setting up part two.
Defeated your own point there
Man, I would love to go the movies with these guys forreal. They really know what they're talking about. I gotta check the other guy out too (fatmovieguy, I guess that's his channel name). Thank for making this; that intro had me laughing.
it was so extremely dissapointing 4/10
+Axel Djärv Will it help if i see batman and robin and go to the movie theatre?
+awesome420ication If you're into self torture and stuff like that.. but i wouldnt recomend doing it
***** So i cant dislike a film eventhough it had huge pacing problems, a cheap plot and was ruined in the marketing?
Watching this in 2022, I never watched this so I never knew John's prediction was pretty spot on about superman!
i loved this movie, it worked for me
Same
The fighting was dope
Yh, If you don't give a fuck about the characters - You will like this film.
+Daniel Ventura Good for you. I liked it a lot, didn't love it. Super flawed movie. Definitely not one of the worst. Decent film.
+In-Skepta Gadget Beg to differ. Love the characters, liked the movie.
Stuckmann and Flickinger team up to review one of the biggest movies ever: 200k
Jaws in pool (with 10x the views): Amateurs....
The movie was so awesome
I would give it a 9,8/10
I never was so tied into a movie before.
traitor!!!!!
GAME OVER "WE HAVE EVERY PIXEL COVERED" No
Glad to hear Civil War is good. What did you think of Batman v Superman?
That is just basically just completely wrong
+Captain America 9.8? now im excited for civil war #TeamUderoos
the intro of this video is spot on 😂
Holy shit, you called the death of superman exactly how it went down.
+HeibeTV
DD is notorious for the death of Superman. There is no way they will do DD without doing the death of Superman without angering a whole bunch of people, meaning they wasted DD. If they didn't want the death of Superman they wouldn't put DD in there.
The logos cracked me up! Lex made comic-accurate file headers...
RAAAAAAAACHEL!!!!
Man, I love Bale's voice, it's so fucking funny
4:30 YES they do that...
spoilers:
johns guess was on point. he guessed exactly what happened
15:52 Chris's awkward joke that only he laughed at lol
This aged well
"that's not the only thing that's getting hard" DEAD
I really loved the theme "Must There Be a Super man", just the overall tone
i enjoyed it except the lazy justice league set ups and it taking forever to get to Batman vs superman but i liked it and loved all the fan service! 7.5/10
i had a year to think...... it fuckin sucks ass
RED GORDO lmfao
first shot of batman with full suit on was terrifying, like a massive bug on the wall
Batman *VS* Superman
>Fights for like 7 minutes
God i loved this video. I hope you start making vlogs more frequently again.
with low expectations I actually liked it
has problems but doesn't deserve 30% for me
Same. Fuck Rotten tomatoes.
Yeah 30%, wtf it's not an amazing film, it has a lot of flaws, but 30%, gtfo.
+SSGSS-DarkVegeta EXACTLY!! RT scores are so stupid!!
It's crazy how sharknado has an 88 percent on rt.
+Chris Ramirez You have to realize that Sharknado knows that it isn't a good movie and is self-satirical.
that beginning had me laughing my ass off, good review
