“Faith, Alfred. Faith.” I love Batfleck’s character arc from Batman vs Superman to Justice League. In BvS, he was broken, hateful, and alone. But, Superman’s sacrifice showed him that there’s still good in the world. In Justice League, he’s rejuvenated and enjoys the company of others. He believes in the team, the people around him, he cares for all of them. The final scene with Bruce standing outside, smiling and looking at the sunset, that was brilliant. He knew his parents were proud of him, and he finally found peace.

Apparently Joker was not planned to be in the Knightmare scene at the end, but they included him because Snyder had always wanted to do a scene with Batman and Joker and he knew this might be his last opportunity ever.

Snyder filmed the final scene with Batman and the new Green Lantern (John Stewart) but WB didnt want their new superhero revealed in this movie, so Zack threatened to quit, and as a compromise he was allowed to film one new scene with Joker and he agreed to replace Green Lantern with Martian Manhunter.
Flash and Cyborg were the true mvp’s of this movie. Ezra Miller completely changed my mind as the flash and now you see why Ray Fisher was disappointed this whole time, Whedon and Wb screwed him. (Edit: thx for the likes)
I liked the talk between joker and batman ,flash power and speed is amazing in this movie , wonder woman in snyders justice league makes wonder woman from 1984 look like a fuckin disney princess , 4 hours wasnt enough for me , i want more plz wb give me 8 hours of injustice , i want to remind u all that wb gave zack only 70 million to finish cgi and visiual but i think that the cgi of darkseid , desad and stephenwolf was great, thats why some cgi felt choppy and incomplete, this movie feels good . I liked the tone in this not too light like wonderwoman 1984 it didnt work at all felt like disney movie and not too dark and boring like bvs , this movie has a balanced combination between the two tones .
Absolutely loved the way Cyborg was explored in this film! Favourite however was Steppenwolf's constant need to please his master! I could not care less about him in the 2017 version. How likely is it that we get the Snyderverse?
I don't think it was puppy eyes. They were just so far apart it made him hard to take serious. It made him feel even more like the black sheep. But yeah I felt bad for him too.

I love how Steppenwolf kinda stumbles back nervously when Darkseid is about to appear on the holophone. It says so much about both characters in two seconds.

I'm so glad I stopped watching any movie previews after the first one when it comes to highly anticipated movies. They always end up giving away too much. I forget at what point in the marvel movies I adopted that practice but it definitely makes for a better movie going experience. The time travel thing completely caught me off guard and I was just expecting an extended version of the whedon ending.
Can we talk about The Flash's first scene? It is such a great way to build up and explain his powers. His shoes tear apart, the way glass moves like water, the way he runs carefully not to destroy the ground. How when he stops that the ground, the friction tears it apart. He dosen't actually grab the girl so he dosen't hurt her but instead influenced her movement. He also carefully move the hotdog as to not cook it. It was such a sick scene.
@@nnepubs1481 the song choice makes sense for how Barry was feeling meeting Iris. He had a crush and so the song made sense with the scene and what flash was doing such as moving her hair back to look into her eyes etc. At first I was like "why did they use a song?" But it makes sense for the scene and how Barry was feeling and what he was doing. It doesn't seem like he goes out much and it doesn't seem like he has a huge social circle which is why he said to batman that he needs friends. This explains why he had such strong crush on a beautiful girl who was previously looking at him and smiling at him. It's not like he's out there meeting different women for him to feel like meeting one woman isn't a big deal. Barry is socially isolated and so when he meets a beautiful woman that showed interest in him, he felt it was a big deal and had a strong crush on her which is why the song makes sense for the scene and why Barry seemed so love-struck.

I thought about that but it could also still be true if it took place in the same world. If Lois Lane dies and Superman becomes Injustice, he allows Darkseid to continue living which means he keeps to keep traveling the universe and destroying worlds. If Superman were to remain himself and kill Darkseid, he'd ultimately be saving countless worlds that would have been destroyed.

What’s sad is Zack said she was like him. She loved sci-fi, aliens, monsters, gods, etc. and she wanted to be a writer I believe. Really amazing that Zack dedicated the movie to her.

"I got the wind knocked out of me, I just need a few seconds, that's all!" That scene crushed my heart. I loved Barry so much in this movie, he's like the kid in the group who's probably the least equipped to fight aliens from space. Him saying that line, holding back tears from the pain, still wanting to do what he has to to save the world. Gosh the character work in this one is phenomenal. Let's not even get started with Cyborg, truly the heart of the movie
I know. It made him hero material. In the Whedon version I remember him being reluctant to save people in the first fight. And then all he does later is push a car.

In Josstice League he was like, "Alien tech that could probably do anything. Lets bring Superman back cos that will give us the edge cos he's Superman". In ZS JL, it was like, "Well Cyborg came back thanks to the motherbox. So why didn't Steppenwolf come back then? Cos Superman was here. Meaning they're afraid if him. Lets bring Superman back bcos that'll give us the edge and if the motherbox could bring back Victor, it could bring back Superman." Much better.

She actually said "You defeated Steppenwolf" which doesn't imply killing. Mera saying her parents died in ZSJL and Atlanna took her in, but her father is King Nereus in the Aquaman movie. Arthur hasn't seen Vulko in years in the Aquaman movie but clearly sees him in ZSJL. Arthur blames his mother and says he left him on his father doorstep but in his movie he blames himself and the Atlanteans. No British accent or water bubbles. Snyders armor is is very Lord of the Rings while Wans is Star Wars inspired. They don't line up at all

If evilness somehow had a physical incarnation, it would be him. That’s why he is straightforwardly dark. Unlike Thanos, who has some room to show emotion at certain times. Coming from someone who had known him from the comics, he seemed pretty accurate to me.

It boggles my mind his story was cut. The worst indictment about the Whedon version is any of the characters they go in depth on in the Snyder Cut would have made the theatrical release better. Was sacrificing 5 minutes of Steppenwolf character development worth it? They couldn't fit 10-20 minutes explaining Cyborg? It's nonsensical.

Batman being useful and actually fighting the para-demons with skill and holding his own instead of being useless was great. Same with Flash not tripping over constantly and being dumb, he actually done work!
I think Martian Manhunter waited to reveal himself since he may have been unsure as to how humanity would have reacted to superhero aliens (as Superman literally had to appear in court in BvS), and now the League is created, he felt it right to reveal himself to Bruce.
The visual storytelling was amazing as well, like how when Cyborg is in the digital world, he’s wearing his football jacket, he’s normal. But when he finally comes to terms with who he is now, and that he’s not alone, he’s not broken, he finally BECOMES Cyborg in the digital world as well.

“Make your own future. Make your own past... it’s all. Right. Now.” The flash and cyborg went from glorified side kicks to full fledged gods in this film.
This version of the Justice League really reminded me of the animated DC movies which brought back a lot of Nostalgia as a DC fan which is the whole reason these movies exist imo. We want to see our childhood stories portrayed in a way that really pays them respect and this version really did that for me. So I enjoyed it and hope WB finds a way to continue this universe.
Interesting, so I just got finished watching the Snyder Cut and I feel a bit of the reverse as you. As much of a post-production and editorial mess as the theatrical cut was, it was the first time that I genuinely felt like I was in the DC Universe proper instead of Snyder's personal interpretation of the DC universe. With the Snyder Cut, I feel like a bit of that lightness was lost, even though I still think it's by far Snyder's best DC work. Maybe I get closer to your view as I sit on it for a few days.

DC has always been inherently a darker universe, but jokes get thrown in and I think they throw the perfect amount of humour in here. Doesn’t make it goofy but gives the league that same feel as the animated league. For me this is one of the greatest comic book movies of all time

@@memecliparchives2254 it's an immersion issue for me, so there is definitely a sizable subjective component to it. A couple of days afterwards I watched the "Justice Is Gray" version and liked that even more but overall my previous thoughts still stand. While the DCAU, the direct-to-video animated films, and other animated shows like Young Justice and B:TATB all have different takes on the DC Universe from each other, themselves different from the mainline comics, I still feel like I'm in the DC Universe proper while I'm watching them. I never think about who's directing or producing behind the camera until after it's finished. It's an issue that I uniquely have with the DCEU. While watching the MCU films I never think about them as Feige's take on the Marvel Universe, despite them doing certain things differently from the mainline comics. The "Elseworld treatment" doesn't really correct for this in my mind, since I was able to watch something as different as JL: Gods and Monsters and still feel like I was looking at a DC story directly and not a DC story through X person's lenses. Casting is not an issue either since I love Cavill and Affleck as Supes and Bats respectively. Even though I hoped for somebody a bit more muscular, Gal has done a great job as WW and so has Momoa even though he looks somewhat different to the traditional Aquaman. It's more about how they've handled their stories.
The back and forth voiceover between Jor-El and Pa Kent was so well done. Got goosebumps, damn near teared up there. Actually quite a few times this movie got me
Hell yeah! Me too! I'm like "fuck! This is gold!". Then when superman went to space to rejuvenate while the MoS score was playing in the background, it was pure nerdvana.
I really liked how Jor-El's lines from Man of Steel like "You will give them an ideal to strive towards", "They will stumble, they will fall" and "They will join you in the Sun, Kal" are reintroduced while also perfectly fitting the situation. BvS and the initial half of JL could be seen as the stumbling part, and in the end the crew looks to Superman as their best hope at fighting off Steppenwolf. And those smiles on Aquaman and WW's faces when Superman flew in, it all came together really nicely. This along with the MoS soundtrack kicking in was an amazing experience!
@@Navarchil the Man of Steel soundtrack is one of my favorites from a superhero movie. Just has so much feeling and emotion. While its not all horns and happy, theres a real uplifting kind of feel to it.

I dislike a lot about snyder, but I always loved how much he respect badass female characters. Marvel could learn something from that (yeah, there are some great but the majority are so bland)
I really like that Snyder established that weird shit happens with time when he goes past light speed. First the dialogue, then Clark’s resurrection you actually see it happen and your like “oh cool!” Then mf watches the planet fkn implode and pulls the literal fabric of spacetime backwards! So good.
@@giokyo9465 I meant to say JL had some infinity war influence. Vision got stabbed the same way Stephenwolf got stabbed by aquamam. Also when visions milestone was destroyed by wanda, it was a moment where it appeared the battle was over then time got reversed and there was an alternate ending. We got a similar experience in JL when flash reversed time at the end
Darkseid's reveal in this was too perfect. From the wall paintings that Wonder Woman found to the story of his first coming to the final portal, it genuinely got me hyped up.

The scene where the team is in the bat hangar and they're talking about ressuructing Superman, and Cyborg projects him and Han's horn section start playing his theme, just gives me a huge goosebumps. I teard up during that scene lol.
Whedon cut Cyborg's backstory, including the excellent sequences with the single mom and Cyborg giving her the money she needed. The actress who played her asked if the scene was restored to the Snyder Cut over on Twitter. She got a ton of positive messages, it was nice.

The intro to wonder women in the bank was the best action scene she’s done even in her own movies, I love how Zack makes her go head to head with doomsday and superman and absolutely demolishes normal dudes but in her own movie she struggles with machine gun fire and cat ladies
I mean...the normal humans in that scene were ragdolls...Very..VERY badly animated. Her movement though was good(likely performed by an actual person so it looks good). Still I can't agree it was a good action scene...thats just not how a good action scene looks honestly. Her action scenes in her first solo movie were better, her hits actually looked like they are landing on a human being instead of launching ragdolls into empty space.

WB wanted the Avengers because they have no idea what the DC universe is about, and being completely fair, I'd say Snyder actually does and gave us a great cinematic interpretation of it.
Cyborg's line near the end: I'm not broken... and I'm not alone. That hit me hard because so many emotions went through me when I lost my dad to cancer a year ago. It actually made me cheer and say "YES!" The movie may be called Justice League, but Cyborg carried this movie and was the heart and soul of it. He's one of my absolute fave DC heroes and Ray Fischer did so much justice (no pun intended) to the character! Now I understand why he was so passionate and angry about the Josstice League cut! His anger was perfectly justified!
Cyborg looks not human, but in retrospect is the most human, on the inside. He has the biggest heart and is the heart of the film. And Zack Snyder just knows how to make wonderwomen and superman look so badass.👌
If they wanted to really save run time, they should have split it into two like Zack Snyder planned to. Right around the time Stephennwolfe grabs the last mother box. Stephennwolfe: This is the beginning of the end. Cyborg: The game has just begun. -fade to black-
I love that it clarifies why Superman came back and attacked the JL. Because the motherbox is part of the future and past and present. So when it brought back supes he was experiencing his anger that he will go through in the future when he loses Lois. When he sees Lois though he snaps out of it and into the present.

@@craigus1991 Not to mention, I think the lack of Darkseid in the theatrical cut added to that feeling of redundancy for the rest of the League. The largest threat in the film was Steppenwolf, so if Superman can kick his ass, then why do you need the other heroes? In this version, it’s made very clear that even Superman is no match for Darkseid, so when he defeats Steppenwolf, you still feel like the rest of the League will be necessary in the future.
@@domphilbrick The rest of the league was relevant in this film too. They brought Superman back from the dead, seperated the boxes and went back in time to make sure the outcome was not the apocolypse, which is what Darkseide represents.

WB did Ray Fisher so dirty. He played the hell out of Cyborg. I understand now why he was so pissed at WB and Joss Whedon. This guy had every right to be angry.
And it was his first role ever, I can’t even think how that felt to have such an interesting arc in a big Hollywood movie, then it’s all taken out and replaced with shit jokes.
He was so happy that he cried and also thanked the fans for making it happen too when Zack first announced that it was gonna be released. Ray is an amazing actor, for his first time.

Yup, I hated how they made her kind of unlikable in the bargain bin justice league. Her character was basically I miss Trevor. The drama between her and Bruce didn’t make any sense and I’m glad they got rid of that.
That scene with people singing for Aquaman goes hand and hand with what you’re saying about them being the new gods, and that’s exactly how those people see Aquaman
I always found the Aquaman Character....kind of useless...but this and the Aquaman movie did a good job showing how powerful he is ruling the seas and is/was an Atlantean.
I'll be honest I loved that scene, it had a Viking almost legendary vibe to it, like Aquaman is a God from old myths and legends and he's here walking around the earth and influencing what happens to people. It really helped to highlight that Aquaman isn't just a superhero, he's actually from a long like of Kings and he has a duty and responsibility that he needs to uphold. I can understand why some people may not have liked it but personally it was a pleasant surprise and I really loved it.
Every frame a painting is the best way to describe this movie. Every single shot looks so f*****g cool. Especially the fights between Diana and steppenwolf.

Superman was so much more brutal in this version I really liked how with the higher age rating they actually had him using powers like his laser eyes in combat.
There was a complaint in the earlier version that if Superman can single handedly defeat steppenwolf why is thr whole justice league necessary.? Seems that hasnt changed.. Superman still single handedly destroyed Steppenwolf even in the Snydercut.

The Star labs scene with JL and Silas stone was heart touching. I actually cried when Silas finally realises that his Son will help countless others and will achieve greatness, only because he had the guts to bring his son back from dead!

The actors if they are bad can be a bottle neck for the movie,fail to deliver the emotional impact of the script. However if the actors do a good job(like they do in this movie,the cast is pretty good)they are almost invisible in a way,they dont get in the way of the script. And the script is good the movie will be good. This is why personaly I care A LOT more about the story writer and the main author of a film/series,this is why for example George R R martin is the SOUL of Game of Thrones and all the fancy actors,holywood money and world renowed writers cant compare to the original's author's vision.

I love Batfleck’s character arc from Batman vs Superman to Justice League. In BvS, he was broken, hateful, and alone. But, Superman’s sacrifice showed him that there’s still good in the world. In Justice League, he’s rejuvenated and enjoys the company of others. He believes in the team, the people around him, he cares for all of them. The final scene with Bruce standing outside, smiling and looking at the sunset, that was brilliant. He knew his parents were proud of him, and he finally found peace.

Apparently Joker was not planned to be in the Knightmare scene at the end, but they included him because Snyder had always wanted to do a scene with Batman and Joker and he knew this might be his last opportunity ever.

Snyder filmed the final scene with Batman and the new Green Lantern (John Stewart) but WB didnt want their new superhero revealed in this movie, so Zack threatened to quit, and as a compromise he was allowed to film one new scene with Joker and he agreed to replace Green Lantern with Martian Manhunter.

I'm so glad I stopped watching any movie previews after the first one when it comes to highly anticipated movies. They always end up giving away too much. I forget at what point in the marvel movies I adopted that practice but it definitely makes for a better movie going experience.
The time travel thing completely caught me off guard and I was just expecting an extended version of the whedon ending.

Can we talk about The Flash's first scene? It is such a great way to build up and explain his powers.
His shoes tear apart, the way glass moves like water, the way he runs carefully not to destroy the ground. How when he stops that the ground, the friction tears it apart. He dosen't actually grab the girl so he dosen't hurt her but instead influenced her movement. He also carefully move the hotdog as to not cook it.
It was such a sick scene.
All those small detail made it work beautifully

He had a crush and so the song made sense with the scene and what flash was doing such as moving her hair back to look into her eyes etc. At first I was like "why did they use a song?" But it makes sense for the scene and how Barry was feeling and what he was doing. It doesn't seem like he goes out much and it doesn't seem like he has a huge social circle which is why he said to batman that he needs friends. This explains why he had such strong crush on a beautiful girl who was previously looking at him and smiling at him. It's not like he's out there meeting different women for him to feel like meeting one woman isn't a big deal. Barry is socially isolated and so when he meets a beautiful woman that showed interest in him, he felt it was a big deal and had a strong crush on her which is why the song makes sense for the scene and why Barry seemed so love-struck.

I thought about that but it could also still be true if it took place in the same world. If Lois Lane dies and Superman becomes Injustice, he allows Darkseid to continue living which means he keeps to keep traveling the universe and destroying worlds. If Superman were to remain himself and kill Darkseid, he'd ultimately be saving countless worlds that would have been destroyed.

That scene crushed my heart. I loved Barry so much in this movie, he's like the kid in the group who's probably the least equipped to fight aliens from space. The bit that was the made it better for me the most was the explanation of why Bruce thought the Motherbox could bring Superman back. In Josstice League he was like, "Alien tech that could probably do anything. Lets bring Superman back cos that will give us the edge cos he's Superman". In ZS JL, it was like, "Well Cyborg came back thanks to the motherbox. So why didn't Steppenwolf come back then? Cos Superman was here. Meaning they're afraid if him. Lets bring Superman back bcos that'll give us the edge and if the motherbox could bring back Victor, it could bring back Superman." Much better.
But before that they say that the motherboxes don't have feelings. So it's contradicts this statement. Probably just an oversight from the writers.

She actually said "You defeated Steppenwolf" which doesn't imply killing. Mera saying her parents died in ZSJL and Atlanna took her in, but her father is King Nereus in the Aquaman movie. Arthur hasn't seen Vulko in years in the Aquaman movie but clearly sees him in ZSJL. Arthur blames his mother and says he left him on his father doorstep but in his movie he blames himself and the Atlanteans. No British accent or water bubbles. Snyders armor is is very Lord of the Rings while Wans is Star Wars inspired. They don't line up at all

It boggles my mind his story was cut. The worst indictment about the Whedon version is any of the characters they go in depth on in the Snyder Cut would have made the theatrical release better. Was sacrificing 5 minutes of Steppenwolf character development worth it? They couldn't fit 10-20 minutes explaining Cyborg? It's nonsensical.

I think Martian Manhunter waited to reveal himself since he may have been unsure as to how humanity would have reacted to superhero aliens (as Superman literally had to appear in court in BvS), and now the League is created, he felt it right to reveal himself to Bruce.
The visual storytelling was amazing as well, like how when Cyborg is in the digital world, he’s wearing his football jacket, he’s normal. But when he finally comes to terms with who he is now, and that he’s not alone, he’s not broken, he finally BECOMES Cyborg in the digital world as well.

This version of the Justice League really reminded me of the animated DC movies which brought back a lot of Nostalgia as a DC fan which is the whole reason these movies exist imo. We want to see our childhood stories portrayed in a way that really pays them respect and this version really did that for me. So I enjoyed it and hope WB finds a way to continue this universe.
Interesting, so I just got finished watching the Snyder Cut and I feel a bit of the reverse as you. As much of a post-production and editorial mess as the theatrical cut was, it was the first time that I genuinely felt like I was in the DC Universe proper instead of Snyder's personal interpretation of the DC universe. With the Snyder Cut, I feel like a bit of that lightness was lost, even though I still think it's by far Snyder's best DC work. Maybe I get closer to your view as I sit on it for a few days.

DC has always been inherently a darker universe, but jokes get thrown in and I think they throw the perfect amount of humour in here. Doesn’t make it goofy but gives the league that same feel as the animated league. For me this is one of the greatest comic book movies of all time

To be honest, Snyder did take an inspiration directly from DC comics. Just not the mainstream because his universe is meant to be an Elseworld of sorts.
@@memecliparchives2254 it's an immersion issue for me, so there is definitely a sizable subjective component to it. A couple of days afterwards I watched the "Justice Is Gray" version and liked that even more but overall my previous thoughts still stand.
While the DCAU, the direct-to-video animated films, and other animated shows like Young Justice and B:TATB all have different takes on the DC Universe from each other, themselves different from the mainline comics, I still feel like I'm in the DC Universe proper while I'm watching them. I never think about who's directing or producing behind the camera until after it's finished.
It's an issue that I uniquely have with the DCEU. While watching the MCU films I never think about them as Feige's take on the Marvel Universe, despite them doing certain things differently from the mainline comics. The "Elseworld treatment" doesn't really correct for this in my mind, since I was able to watch something as different as JL: Gods and Monsters and still feel like I was looking at a DC story directly and not a DC story through X person's lenses.
Casting is not an issue either since I love Cavill and Affleck as Supes and Bats respectively. Even though I hoped for somebody a bit more muscular, Gal has done a great job as WW and so has Momoa even though he looks somewhat different to the traditional Aquaman. It's more about how they've handled their stories.
The back and forth voiceover between Jor-El and Pa Kent was so well done. Got goosebumps, damn near teared up there. Actually quite a few times this movie got me
Hell yeah! Me too! I'm like "fuck! This is gold!". Then when superman went to space to rejuvenate while the MoS score was playing in the background, it was pure nerdvana.

I really liked how Jor-El's lines from Man of Steel like "You will give them an ideal to strive towards", "They will stumble, they will fall" and "They will join you in the Sun, Kal" are reintroduced while also perfectly fitting the situation.
BvS and the initial half of JL could be seen as the stumbling part, and in the end the crew looks to Superman as their best hope at fighting off Steppenwolf. And those smiles on Aquaman and WW's faces when Superman flew in, it all came together really nicely.
This along with the MoS soundtrack kicking in was an amazing experience!

@@Navarchil the Man of Steel soundtrack is one of my favorites from a superhero movie. Just has so much feeling and emotion. While its not all horns and happy, theres a real uplifting kind of feel to it.

I really like that Snyder established that weird shit happens with time when he goes past light speed. First the dialogue, then Clark’s resurrection you actually see it happen and your like “oh cool!” Then mf watches the planet fkn implode and pulls the literal fabric of spacetime backwards! So good.

Also when visions milestone was destroyed by wanda, it was a moment where it appeared the battle was over then time got reversed and there was an alternate ending. We got a similar experience in JL when flash reversed time at the end
Darkseid's reveal in this was too perfect. From the wall paintings that Wonder Woman found to the story of his first coming to the final portal, it genuinely got me hyped up.
I like how Jeremy Irons has a stronger roll in this movie as Alfred. I love the tea scene with he and Gal.
I would rather have Lucious Fox do this more scientist/engineer role, than Alfred, but...

The ZSJL soundtrack has so many crazy gems. Batman Theme, Flash Theme is absolutely incredible and new WW theme sounds really good.
The scene where the team is in the bat hangar and they're talking about ressuructing Superman, and Cyborg projects him and Han's horn section start playing his theme, just gives me a huge goosebumps. I teard up during that scene lol.

Whedon cut Cyborg's backstory, including the excellent sequences with the single mom and Cyborg giving her the money she needed. The actress who played her asked if the scene was restored to the Snyder Cut over on Twitter. She got a ton of positive messages, it was nice.

I mean...the normal humans in that scene were ragdolls...Very..VERY badly animated. Her movement though was good(likely performed by an actual person so it looks good). Still I can't agree it was a good action scene...thats just not how a good action scene looks honestly. Her action scenes in her first solo movie were better, her hits actually looked like they are landing on a human being instead of launching ragdolls into empty space.

The movie may be called Justice League, but Cyborg carried this movie and was the heart and soul of it. He's one of my absolute fave DC heroes and Ray Fischer did so much justice (no pun intended) to the character! Now I understand why he was so passionate and angry about the Josstice League cut! His anger was perfectly justified!

I love that it clarifies why Superman came back and attacked the JL. Because the motherbox is part of the future and past and present. So when it brought back supes he was experiencing his anger that he will go through in the future when he loses Lois. When he sees Lois though he snaps out of it and into the present.

@@craigus1991 Not to mention, I think the lack of Darkseid in the theatrical cut added to that feeling of redundancy for the rest of the League. The largest threat in the film was Steppenwolf, so if Superman can kick his ass, then why do you need the other heroes? In this version, it’s made very clear that even Superman is no match for Darkseid, so when he defeats Steppenwolf, you still feel like the rest of the League will be necessary in the future.
@@domphilbrick The rest of the league was relevant in this film too. They brought Superman back from the dead, seperated the boxes and went back in time to make sure the outcome was not the apocolypse, which is what Darkseide represents.

Actually that's one of the few if not the only scenes I wouldn't mind getting cut.
I always found the Aquaman Character....kind of useless...but this and the Aquaman movie did a good job showing how powerful he is ruling the seas and is/was an Atlantean.
I'll be honest I loved that scene, it had a Viking almost legendary vibe to it, like Aquaman is a God from old myths and legends and he's here walking around the earth and influencing what happens to people. It really helped to highlight that Aquaman isn't just a superhero, he's actually from a long like of Kings and he has a duty and responsibility that he needs to uphold. I can understand why some people may not have liked it but personally it was a pleasant surprise and I really loved it.

Superman was so much more brutal in this version I really liked how with the higher age rating they actually had him using powers like his laser eyes in combat.

The Star labs scene with JL and Silas stone was heart touching. I actually cried when Silas finally realises that his Son will help countless others and will achieve greatness, only because he had the guts to bring his son back from dead!

@@eli3804 Why does everyone always say that Leto is trying to steal Ledgers thing? Ledger’s joker was great, and just because another actor is playing a different joker, doesn’t mean they are trying to be better. They are each giving their own best interpretation of the character.
Zack Snyder´s Justice League is proof that the actors are NEVER the cause of a character or movie fail. Its all about who is running the show.

The actors if they are bad can be a bottle neck for the movie,fail to deliver the emotional impact of the script.
However if the actors do a good job(like they do in this movie,the cast is pretty good)they are almost invisible in a way,they dont get in the way of the script.
And the script is good the movie will be good.
This is why personaly I care A LOT more about the story writer and the main author of a film/series,this is why for example George R R martin is the SOUL of Game of Thrones and all the fancy actors,holywood money and world renowed writers cant compare to the original's author's vision.
