Had a few of those same HO cars back in the 70’s. Great memories.

I still have my first AFX set from when I was a kid. Recently got some new Carrera Go sets after seeing they had some F1 car sets and Ferrari sets, then I also grabbed some track packs and 2 extra cars, the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 NO.98 and Mercedes AMG GT3 Mann Filter Team NO.47. I had only seen alot of the more kid focused Carrera Go sets, and didnt realise they made the more realistic cars as well. I dont have the space to have the bigger Carrera sets layouts, having alot of fun with the 1/43 scale.

Carrera is really stepping up on the quality and details of the 1:43 Go line. Very beautiful and not much of a drop-off from 1:32, aside from the size. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your comments, and continue to have a lot of fun with them!

Thank you, they truly are! The best part has been finally equipping them all with new Jel Claw tires, pickup shoes, and lubrication to get them running just like they did back in the day!

I started with Aurora AFX too. My uncle lived near the factory they made it all and when they sadly went bust he managed to grab loads of track and cars for pennies. I had police cars, a few of those yellow dodge chargers with the "sonic" box on the top of them, I had miles of track too, including some of that weird "flex-trak" those were the days.

That's awesome! As a kid I had always dreamt of getting miles of track Lol. I did have the flex track, but it was pretty awful, in my experience. We couldn't get the cars to travel along it without getting stuck, and it started to break apart pretty easily. I think I still have it in the garage, along with the "race control" digital unit Lol. Thanks again, Dave!

I started out the same way AFX but years later I began to get 1/32 scale cars. LOL my mom use to bribe me the same way, I'd get a Hot Wheels if I went to the store with her.

That's awesome! I was recently chatting with a good friend I've known since childhood. It turns out we used to go with our moms to the same shopping center and the bribes were always offered. Only he's always been an avid reader, so his mom would bribe him with books Lol. I really enjoy your channel, keep up the great videos! Dennis

@@All-ScaleSlotCarDen For many years I wanted I 6 wheeler, we call them Jackie Stewart's back then. When I finally got one I broke it the same day when I tried to remove the chassis. The design was terrible and the plastic was cheap.

@@slotcarsandhotrains Yeah, that was probably the most disappointing slot car of all time Lol. There was something bad with that blue AFX plastic.
