    Great video!
NBC Sports posted a video of Sha’carri’s Budapest victory with multiple angles with slow motion of the race.
I noticed Sha’carri seemed to have much less heel strike(maybe I should say foot collapse) in relation to the other finalists- looked like she maintained most of the contact on the balls of her feet until the final 30 meters of the race, whereas even Shelly Ann and Shericka looked to have much more prominent heel strike/collapse much earlier in the race.
I believe Shelly Ann is the most dominant sprinter to ever live BUT Sha’carri’s ability to limit ground contact times due to her insane ankle stiffness/ lower limb complex strength gives her a higher ceiling in terms of how her rate of deceleration would be lower- this explains why she appears to be pulling away at the end of her races- she is just popping off the track while the others are collapsing. Those replays were good because you can see what they are both doing during the different phases of the same race.
Every sprinter has to have some level of midfoot/heel strike/collapse - Sha’carri seems to have the least.
I believe she has the physical tools to run sub 10.50 and challenge the WR- if she doesn’t, then it will take someone with her level of lower limb, ankle strength to do it.
Will be interesting to see how the next 5-6 years goes for her.

Yes I agree and I also believe for that reason barefoot training is also important, strong arches also contribute to stiffness. You don't want your arches collapsing, that just diminishes the effect you're getting from the stiffness in your Achilles

so fascinating! im a bit new to running, barefoot mainly, and have been amazed by sha'carri's form while running.
when you say ankle stiffness/lower limb complex can you expand on what you mean? are you saying that its ideal that her ankle is so stiff and her lower legs are strong enough to maintain a constant raised position?

Great video bro. Nice breakdown of the mechanics. It's an art to running and most fail because of them running too tense. Thanks for the info.
