I am at 26 months and it all began after watching that video that I didn't understand a word of! Lol! One dread turned into two and two turned into 67!!!! I'm at 63 now! And proud! Thank you soooo much galapril!!! My dreadlocks began during a very difficult transition in my life and i believe they helped me get through it!!! I wear them with honor!!!
I would like to point out that a long time ago, before brushing or combing was ever a thing, everyone had dreadlocks. It is not a racial thing. It is something that occurs naturally for all humans. Stop the ignorant racist comments.
THIS IS TRUE because brushing and washing wasnt a thing in the stone age! haha the clumps arent "dreadlocks" they're matting. you know when dogs with long hair matt up when theyre not groomed? this happens to all humans too. thats why hippies do it, they dont like all that "unnatural" stuff and technically, not brushing or washing is natural??? lolol
+Venus Vix if you have to use rubber bands and rub pieces of your hair between your hands on a regular basis to achieve this "hairstyle" then obviously its not naturally occurring hun :)
god, i love your dreads so much, they look amazing, just amazing! you can be lucky having such beautiful dreads! and i think you are an awesome beautiful person. wish you an amazing new year :)
I can remember watching your dreadlock journey a few years back, actually had dreads then, sorta gave up, and im starting them again now. You have been a major inspiration. Thanx :D
your dreads are sooooo beautiful! ill admit you were a HUGE inspiration to me and my locks. going on three months here and i LOVE IT. they really do change every day!
What an utterly intelligent input you have on the situation. I suggest making a valid opinion versus expressing it so rudely towards someone with such a kind soul.
I've thought about getting dreadlocks for a while and after finding your videos, I want them even more! I also have to add, you are stunningly beautiful.
You are so unbelievably gorgeous, & that was very good advice that you gave. I think alot of times, people feel that their hair, what they wear, piercings, etc., is necessary to 'being yourself' or 'expressing yourself', but those are just things, not the essence of who one is as a person.
I love how modest you are, I can tell you're a very soul and gentle soul. It's been really awesome to watch your dreads transform and grow. thanks for sharing =]
OH MY, it's you! I watched your oldest videos a long time ago but I haven't been able to find your youtube account since! You're still as gorgeous as ever.
I love the dreads now, more so than when they were freshly made. I think the bits of natural hair and the bit of softness that adds to the hairstyle and how it lays now is beautiful. Never have I seen dreads I actually liked until now.
I love how you personify your dreadlocks. you talk about them like they're their own person yet they're a part of you at the same time. they're not just a part of your appearance.
The videos, your wording, your acting in front of the camera have improved remarkable over the month. Just don't cut off the dreadlocks - have a nice christmas.
But honestly, if your so called friends turn against you because you have piercings or a certain hairstyle - get rid of them! They are NOT your friends, if they don't accept you the way you are.
Your dreadlocks have always been my favorite. I love the way they look, and the loose hair is beautiful to me, I like the messiness of it. So beautiful to me.
You are simply one of the most beautiful girls I've set eyes on. And it's not a "thirsty" comment or just the facts it's youtube. You are seriously breath taking.
Damn, you've really grown since the last video I saw about 6.09 minutes ago! And, you're english is even better, not that it was bad in any way! What an amazing specimen... and what not! ;)
Love your videos your dreads are so beautiful and you are very right about picking your battles with dreads I had them for a year when I was younger and realized that maybe just because I loved them didn't mean that was enough to keep them thanks for giving such honest advice to everyone who needs some help. You are so beautiful inside and out :)
Yes but if you wait for the approval of your parents, family and all surrounding everytime you want to do something, you won't do a lot in your life.... Once you're 18+ you have the right do to whatever you want, just understanding the consequences your actions may bring... But we have to live for ourselves not for ppl around. This is very important.
its good to know how many dreads you started with vs. what you have now. i've been questioning my dread sectioning and if i have enough because in places (especially the back) it seems like the gaps between are too big. mine are about 9 months old and some are still thin because of my hair type, but i have 50 dreads now. i've always admired the beautiful way your dreads have grown!
My Dreads are getting thiner with growing, because I didn't put the lose hair in them for a quite long time, and mine are growing soo fast! This is interesting how different they are. Mine took over a year to be really dreaded and felted. You dreads looking so wonderful fluffy! They must be a good pillow in the night :) love them!!
I'm short too...only 5 foot. But, you don't have to do runway, there's sooo many different kinds of models!! Like noamiiscollike said, you're beyond beautiful. You look like an angel honestly.
It's you! OMG, I saw your photo just randomly on Bing Images, but it said nothing about you, & I thought 'who is that girl, she is just simply so stunning!'
I remember a video, years ago, where you said you like the loose hair (to give it a more natural look) and that you don't wash your dreads. If you want the loose hair to go into the dreads naturally just keep your hair very clean. As the loose hair rubs onto the dreads they will find their way into the dread. With long loose hair you're more susceptible to having the loose hair find a dread far from the loose hair's root... usually something people don't want. If you want to promote hairs to go into the dread closest to it I suggest cutting the loose hair to about 6 inches and getting a wool hat/mittens, something to rub the dread BY ITSELF to get the loose hair tangled into that ONE dread. By doing this you wouldn't have to worry about loose hair finding a dread far away from it's roots. Once you do this, try your best not to mess with it, like young dreads, the hair may fall back out of the dread. So let it sit, and do this multiple times to ensure all loose hair found their own dread. And again, like all dread heads know... there will always be loose hair. Just be as you have been and love them all the same. :) Hope this helps :) Oh, and btw, you're suuuuper cute ! :D
you know, most girls don't look good when they didn't do their hair. but with you, it doesn't seem to matter at all what you do with your hair, how long it is, how old or long your dreadlocks are or how you wear them, you still look great every time! it's like your superpower :D
Also--I'm amazed you girls can keep them so long. The heaviness issue destroyed me. After a year and a half, I was getting serious neck problems from the weight and I had to comb them out. :(
You are so beautiful. I absolutely love your locs. Mine are only 16 months old and I am loving, loving, loving them. I am excited for them to get some length to them though.
i love how they changed!! i had dreadlocks for 1 year but i had to get rid of them because the profs at my uni didnt accept them and gave me bad grades... i really miss them
wow, so beautyful! i want to get also dreads but thinner. and i also want to let them look natural with some loosely hanks. i think it looks so wonderful after these 4 years. ok i believe its much heavier but it looks very nice!!
We started dating first, and dated for a couple of months. I felt a bit weird, and it took some time getting used to. But I got a happy boyfriend, who thought it was very nice instead, so definitely worth it :)
Hi! Thank you very much. I wore Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 004 Indulgence, lightly dabbed on, and GOSH Light'N'Shine Lip Glaze in 102 on top :)
You're so gorgeous! I'm glad you've kept them, they really suit you and it makes me want to get them and keep them for a long time. Did you get them done professionally or naturally?
I think it really depends on how tight they are. I think after the first couple of months they wouldn't. Mine definitely wouldn't move at all. I think they got that way after about 6 months :)
Great video! I love seeing how your dreads have matured. I'm at almost 3 years now and really looking forward to many more:) How are your sisters dreads coming along?
I've been in the same relationship for 4 and a half years and got married 3 weeks ago and he has never once complained about me not shaving under my arms, he doesn't mind. Plus, I made a choice long ago that only I had jurisdiction over my body.
1:30 - 1:55 I kinda have a different view on that. I personally believe that I should not live in the image of how other people think I should Look, and that if they don't like how I look then it really shows how shallow they really are. I believe in judging people by there personality not there looks, but what are you going to do this is the world we live in. With Parents yes if you live in their house you should respect them, but at the same time just because they made you doesn't mean they own you. They had fun making me, I'm going to have fun being me.
I am at 26 months and it all began after watching that video that I didn't understand a word of! Lol! One dread turned into two and two turned into 67!!!! I'm at 63 now! And proud! well they have to if they wanna maintain their "dreadlocks"
god, i love your dreads so much, they look amazing, just amazing! you can be lucky having such beautiful dreads!
and i think you are an awesome beautiful person. wish you an amazing new year :)

Beautiful to see how they have changed over the past few years. They look extremely soft too! Very beautiful!
I've thought about getting dreadlocks for a while and after finding your videos, I want them even more!
I also have to add, you are stunningly beautiful.

I am 2 months in starting my neglect dreads...you are right to just let them do their thing! I am so excited to see a new video from ya...love ya
I love how modest you are, I can tell you're a very soul and gentle soul. It's been really awesome to watch your dreads transform and grow. thanks for sharing =]

Awww :) You have SUCH a sweet personality.... love your locs!
Seeing a lot of dread lock videos by far yours are the prettiest and by far the best
Wow, I hadn't been keeping up with you since your 25 month update and your American accent has improved so much.
Your dreadlocks have always been my favorite. I love the way they look, and the loose hair is beautiful to me, I like the messiness of it. So beautiful to me.
you are extremely beautiful :) I just wanted to compliment on how much your english has improved since you first started making videos!
You are simply one of the most beautiful girls I've set eyes on. And it's not a "thirsty" comment or just the facts it's youtube. You are seriously breath taking.
Her skin, her hair, her collarbones, her dreads, her...everything is just so perfect. Ultimate girl crush right here
You are literally the most beautiful girl I've seen in my life. Thank you for making my day.
You should be a fashon model! I love your locks. God, you are one beautiful lady; don't break too many hearts!
Now I am done complaining, I still love having dreads and it´s much more than just a hairstyle for me. And you look great as always!
It's so great to see a new update :) I really love your dreads!
Damn, you've really grown since the last video I saw about 6.09 minutes ago!
And, you're english is even better, not that it was bad in any way!
What an amazing specimen... and what not! ;)
Missed you, pretty lady! Your dreads look awesome!
They are the inspiration for mine! Mine are 3 months right now.
Keep up the good work! :)

It does sometimes. At one point it was really bad, but training and wearing it down more helped a lot!
You are honestly the most gorgeous person I have ever laid eyes on.
I love how the nose ring looks on you with dreads.
You really care of those so much...I like.
Your hair is beautiful as usual, but my God, I'm jealous of your perfect, glowing skin.

My Dreads are getting thiner with growing, because I didn't put the lose hair in them for a quite long time, and mine are growing soo fast! This is interesting how different they are. Your English has improved so much since your first video! :D
It's you! OMG, I saw your photo just randomly on Bing Images, but it said nothing about you, & I thought 'who is that girl, she is just simply so stunning!'

Andrew

I wanna dread mine so badly! Yours are so beautiful!
Cool! I was surprised they kept changing so much. It's really nice :)
I think it looks very pretty with the loose hairs :) your dreads are very unique, and I like that!
April, what foundation do you use?????????
I remember a video, years ago, where you said you like the loose hair (to give it a more natural look) and that you don't wash your dreads.

Oh, and btw, you're suuuuper cute ! :D
Ive just started and seen a couple of her videos today and she seems more mature in the latter videos, like this one
I love the way yours looks. You don't have to palm roll if u don't want to. Lovely skin! xxx
im sure people tell you this all the time, but you are absolutely gorgeous
you know, most girls don't look good when they didn't do their hair. but with you, it doesn't seem to matter at all what you do with your hair, how long it is, how old or long your dreadlocks are or how you wear them, you still look great every time! it's like your superpower :D
I started out with a lot of really thin and tiny dreadlocks, so I "battled" that for a long time. Don't be jealous, everyone's different ;)
Amazing dreads!you have inspired me to not care what other people think! So ive had dreads for about a month now!=)
If I am not mistaken, she did twist and rip. She has a video showing you how to make dreads
Also--I'm amazed you girls can keep them so long. The heaviness issue destroyed me. After a year and a half, I was getting serious neck problems from the weight and I had to comb them out. :(
You can just cut them down though, I dont like to have mine that long, so I give them a cut once a year :)
Ah yeah see I am way attached to my long hair. No way I'd ever cut it! It's past my butt now that I have no dreads and I love it.
Of course you should compromise. Not everything in life is equally important. It's all about knowing your priorities.
it would be so nice to see you on youtube more often!
Simply beautiful. I am loving the locks!
please make a video where you tell us how you decorate your dreads!!
you are beautiful!

You are so beautiful. I absolutely love your locs. Mine are only 16 months old and I am loving, loving, loving them. I am excited for them to get some length to them though.
Your hair is amazing! I would love to make them but I wouldn't be able to pull them off.
your dreads look awesome as always!!
Coolest dreads I've ever seen! :)
I think dreadlocks are so pretty! I just love the hippie look and era. Lol. But you are very beautiful!(:
I was wearing a dark brown with a slight glitter from a discontinued palette :) And then just a gel liner :)
What is the eyeshadow you are wearing? I love this look!
i love how they changed!!
i had dreadlocks for 1 year but i had to get rid of them because the profs at my uni didnt accept them and gave me bad grades...
i really miss them
wow, so beautyful! i want to get also dreads but thinner. and i also want to let them look natural with some loosely hanks. i think it looks so wonderful after these 4 years. ok i believe its much heavier but it looks very nice!!
this girl is absolutely gorgeous! wow!
We started dating first, and dated for a couple of months. I felt a bit weird, and it took some time getting used to. But I got a happy boyfriend, who thought it was very nice instead, so definitely worth it :)
You are so beautiful and adorable! Your dreads look lovely! You, my dear, are a doll!
Hi! Thank you very much. I wore Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 004 Indulgence, lightly dabbed on, and GOSH Light'N'Shine Lip Glaze in 102 on top :)
omgosh, makeup tutorial please!! Your makeup is gorgeous :)
You're so gorgeous! I'm glad you've kept them, they really suit you and it makes me want to get them and keep them for a long time. Did you get them done professionally or naturally?

You're the prettiest woman I've ever seen in my entire life :o
I've been in the same relationship for 4 and a half years and got married 3 weeks ago and he has never once complained about me not shaving under my arms, he doesn't mind. Plus, I made a choice long ago that only I had jurisdiction over my body.
