First- Stay in Thailand, continue with your Volunteer work. Second- Keep filming your content on the low but dont post it. In the meantime set up your financials and a living arrangements. When you get everything set walk from your volunteer work or negotiate from a stronger position. Then post the content that you banked up. You have a nice subscriber base and you and your girl are very entertaining to watch so you wont suffer too much drop off. You have only scratched the surface of earnings with your channel. Do not let anyone take away your livelyhood. MOST IMPORTANT>>> This is a good time to seek some of the O.G's that live in Thailand and have other channels. You need a network of men to councel with when times like these come up. You will be surprised how they can come to your aid with advise and resources when they see a young brother like yourself doing positive with their life. P.S. Let this be a learning lesson to always have a backup plan on deck. Never be in a situation where someone else holds all the cards to your life. I learned this the hard way. Personally I have thoroughly enjoyed your unbiased videos demonstrating the urban, entertaining and chaotic life in Bangkok or to visit the rural areas where your presence is warmly welcomed by the community. You have always delivered a positive image about Thailand with excellent advice or recommendations on where to visit, accommodation, food, culture ect...You are a brilliant "Ambassador" for Thailand and many will feel the same way as I do. Your videos have impacted my decision to visit this beautiful country in the near future. Your purpose of serving your community as a volunteer teacher has enabled you to do some soul searching and to passionately enjoy your role. You have managed to master the language in a short period of time, build a bridge of trust with the children whom I am pretty sure they respect & love dearly. Complete what you have started ( another 7 months left) without jeopardising your loving entourage particularly when authority is involved. You have a few months left to decide the journey that you want to pursue either being a teacher, youtuber or both. Financial stability is crucial therefore you need to prioritise your career. I can feel the passion in your voice when you express your desire to be teaching school children. Teaching in the uk is a nightmare for various reasons (.violence towards teachers and mainstream schools have a large volume of kids coming from social dysfunctional backgrounds which have impacted their lives in a non compromising manner sadly. However, having this, I am still teaching ( modern languages) for over 10 yrs 😊 Make wise & respectful decisions. TH-cam is a platform frequented by many.. Sorry, but not everything is the devil The Peace Corp is very specific about what you can and cannot do while volunteering. You are not allowed to have a second job or even supplement your income from your banking account. It is written in the contract and explained thoroughly before you sign the contract. Even as an older adult, you must stay with the host family for a specific length of time while there. I truly get what the young man is dealing with but he is the one who broke the rules as per the contract. If he wants to do TH-cam videos, then resign, teach and live your life. However, if you want to stay with the Peace Corps, you have to abide by their rules. Good luck with whatever he decides to do
I would follow your purpose and passion. Even if you have to quit early with the peace corps. You can easily find another teaching job. You might have to leave the country and come back in on a different visas, but it would still be worth it. Hey brother I lived in Thailand for 10 years and married to a Thai. Believe me, I have been there. Sometimes they do stuff that just makes us shake our heads. I'm glad you are strong in your Faith, God will provide your path.

Just found your channel and I am truly inspired and blessed by you. I was in a similar situation when I was married with children, unfortunately the decision was made for me and wife decided to divorce me leaving me to start over. I thought I had did everything right, I worked full time as a medical professional, I owned and operated several rental properties, I am a God fearing family man that worked hard, did the right things but for her it was not enough. I was completely shattered and at the lowest point of my life and put all my faith and trust in God. I continued to take one step at a time and follow my purpose although the path wasn't clear. Six years later God has restored everything the enemy stole to the point where I was able to 100% completely pay off my house, fully fund my children's college education and I was able to retire early at age 52 last year. I am currently tying up a few loose ends and I'm planning on moving to Thailand for 3 months out of the year. You know in your heart that you made the right decision now just walk in faith and let God do what He does best. Love you and praying for you and yours.

Like you, I was traveling a few years before I ended up in hawaii as a pit stop, if you will on my way to being a digital nomad in Bali when I met my now Brazilian wife. She came to Hawaii for vacation and we spent an amazing week together and then spend 3 months doing the long distance thing before we decided to get married. I now live in Brazil for 6 years. I'm having the time of my life and have never been happier or felt more at home like I do here in Brazil. I have zero doubt you made the right decision! I feel bad. I know how painful it is when creativity is limited. I never said this but the reason why i dropped out from school was because they told me not to make videos on certain subjects. I agree the first month but i end up depressed. I was already earning good with my social media at that moment so i decided to drop out from my masters. Those who love creating content will understand me. This is why you see some people would rather be canceled than being limited from expressing themselves. No matter what decision you take. Everyone won’t have the time or desire to delve into your content to experience your character or passion. Off the cuff, it gives potential exploitation…whether it be of you or Manita. This happens in most impoverished communities of the world. Any organization, let alone the Peace Corps would be wary of their mission being compromised god forbid either of you don’t do right by each other. Again, first impression…which is extremely important in this context. In hindsight, maybe you should have kept your personal and professional lives completely separate without any mention of your employer. Many YTers do this to protect themselves. Personally I have thoroughly enjoyed your unbiased videos demonstrating the urban, entertaining and chaotic life in Bangkok or to visit the rural areas where your presence is warmly welcomed by the community. You have always delivered a positive image about Thailand with excellent advice or recommendations on where to visit, accommodation, food, culture ect...You are a brilliant "Ambassador" for Thailand and many will feel the same way as I do. Your videos have impacted my decision to visit this beautiful country in the near future. Your purpose of serving your community as a volunteer teacher has enabled you to do some soul searching and to passionately enjoy your role. You have managed to master the language in a short period of time, build a bridge of trust with the children whom I am pretty sure they respect & love dearly. Complete what you have started ( another 7 months left) without jeopardising your loving entourage particularly when authority is involved. You have a few months left to decide the journey that you want to pursue either being a teacher, youtuber or both. Financial stability is crucial therefore you need to prioritise your career. I can feel the passion in your voice when you express your desire to be teaching school children. Teaching in the uk is a nightmare for various reasons (.violence towards teachers and mainstream schools have a large volume of kids coming from social dysfunctional backgrounds which have impacted their lives in a non compromising manner sadly. However, having this, I am still teaching ( modern languages) for over 10 yrs 😊

I would tell me to follow my dream, my passion, my peace, my heart... for those are the things you can't put a price tag on. I chased the bag. I chased financial security. Sorry, but not everything is the devil The Peace Corp is very specific about what you can and cannot do while volunteering. You are not allowed to have a second job or even supplement your income from your banking account. It is written in the contract and explained thoroughly before you sign the contract. Even as an older adult, you must stay with the host family for a specific length of time while there. I truly get what the young man is dealing with but he is the one who broke the rules as per the contract. If he wants to do TH-cam videos, then resign, teach and live your life. However, if you want to stay with the Peace Corps, you have to abide by their rules. Good luck with whatever he decides to do

I would follow your purpose and passion. Even if you have to quit early with the peace corps. You can easily find another teaching job. You might have to leave the country and come back in on a different visas, but it would still be worth it. Hey brother I lived in Thailand for 10 years and married to a Thai. Believe me, I have been there. Sometimes they do stuff that just makes us shake our heads. I'm glad you are strong in your Faith, God will provide your path.

Just found your channel and I am truly inspired and blessed by you. I was in a similar situation when I was married with children, unfortunately the decision was made for me and wife decided to divorce me leaving me to start over. I thought I had did everything right, I worked full time as a medical professional, I owned and operated several rental properties, I am a God fearing family man that worked hard, did the right things but for her it was not enough. I was completely shattered and at the lowest point of my life and put all my faith and trust in God. I continued to take one step at a time and follow my purpose although the path wasn't clear. Six years later God has restored everything the enemy stole to the point where I was able to 100% completely pay off my house, fully fund my children's college education and I was able to retire early at age 52 last year. I am currently tying up a few loose ends and I'm planning on moving to Thailand for 3 months out of the year. You know in your heart that you made the right decision now just walk in faith and let God do what He does best. Love you and praying for you and yours.

Like you, I was traveling a few years before I ended up in hawaii as a pit stop, if you will on my way to being a digital nomad in Bali when I met my now Brazilian wife. She came to Hawaii for vacation and we spent an amazing week together and then spend 3 months doing the long distance thing before we decided to get married. I now live in Brazil for 6 years.
I'm having the time of my life and have never been happier or felt more at home like I do here in Brazil.

Life lessons young man - when you make social media keep it totally separate from your job. Stating that you are a PeaceCorp Volunteer was the gotcha because PeaceCorp should have a marketing team to handle their social media content.

I feel bad. I know how painful it is when creativity is limited. I never said this but the reason why i dropped out from school was because they told me not to make videos on certain subjects. I agree the first month but i end up depressed. I was already earning good with my social media at that moment so i decided to drop out from my masters. Those who love creating content will understand me. This is why you see some people would rather be canceled than being limited from expressing themselves. No matter what decision you take. The algorithm sent you my way. I listened to half of the video, read a few comments and the looked at the channel and thumbnails. My first impression is that this isn’t the image Peace Corps wants. Everyone won’t have the time or desire to delve into your content to experience your character or passion. Off the cuff, it gives potential exploitation…whether it be of you or Manita. This happens in most impoverished communities of the world. Any organization, let alone the Peace Corps would be wary of their mission being compromised god forbid either of you don’t do right by each other. Again, first impression…which is extremely important in this context. In hindsight, maybe you should have kept your personal and professional lives completely separate without any mention of your employer. Many YTers do this to protect themselves. I think this boils down to your inexperience and that’s okay. Life is all about living and learning. I wish you nothing but happiness and success in whatever decision you make.

From day in the life tech workers, cops making tiktok videos to ppl showing day in the life amazon videos. Companies dont want to be associated with your personal lives in any way whatsoever. They dont have time to watch all of your videos to see what theyre being associated with or how youre carrying yourself.
