A couple of points you've missed: 1)- At level 22 merchants can have weapons of Banishing which make enchant rise fastest. After getting the merchant perk on the Speech skill, I make iron daggers to enchant with Banish, and when the money rolls in I make Dwarven bows to buff Smithing as well. 2)- Adding to the base (1-5) Enchant perk _devalues_ the enchants you make, _slowing down_ your progress! After the first one that lets you move up the tree, it's best to save the 2-5 perks for after you get to 100. 3)- No need to waste the "Champions Cudgel" if you want to keep it as a souvenir. At level 20 you might loot, and the merchants on Solsteim might sell you, weapons of Chaos so you can disenchant one of those instead. But you're right about the Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls. There is no other weapon in the game with that enchantment. I use it together with Absorb Health on my bow and dagger until... 4)- Enchanting a Stalhrim weapon with Chaos will boost the strength of the frost damage when it hits. When I get the Chaos enchantment, I put it and Absorb Health on a Stalhrim Dagger (for the x15 damage Sneak perk) to get maximum damage (and maximum kill animations) on backstabbing sneak attacks.
Also worth noting that if you want to try to get a pair of muffle boots to disenchant you need to grind merchants while you're still in the low (starting at level 11 when they start selling it at all) to mid levels, because at higher levels the wider range of possible enchants they might sell completely buries the already rare chance of them selling muffle gear.
Enchanting an item with a more valuable enchantment does not increase leveling gained. The correlation between value and leveling only applies to disenchanting and recharging where the value of the item disenchanted or the size of the soul used to recharge matters. I am just going off the unofficial skyrim wiki which seems correct from my experience.
Protip: If you wanna avoid the soul trap casting, use bound weapons. Theres a perk not far into conjuration that makes them auto trap. It's also nice to be able to sell the 3000 bows you come across.
Also remember that your skill in the magic class (Destruction, Conjuration, ect) also determines the drain rate of the enchantment. The higher the skill the slower the drain.
I just want to say that these have to be the most through Skyrim guides I have EVER see. You're mentioning stuff that I didn't even know existed after a decade of playing Skyrim. Keep up the killer guides!
The other aspect I love about Dwarven Ruins is that the scrap metal can be smelted down into ingots. Then you can power level smithing with Dwarven Bows. Plus if you add the ancient knowledge perk from “Unfathomable Depths” you can absolutely power level smithing and enchanting.
If you buy yourself a horse you can ride it when too heavy and you can fast travel while on the horse. For those with the anniversary edition you can buy a reindeer just outside of Dawnstar. If you take all the ore and ingots you can have a bunch of stuff for smithing too.
Yo Gamevibz, one of your sooooo much essential guides to skyrim. I wll never say enough, you are so underrated man. Was waiting for one of your vids since long. Love it bro. Peace✌

I managed to squeeze all 4 magic resists, 100% Destruction cost reduction, and health, stamina and magic regen onto a single armor set. Also: 70% magic discount for the other 4 schools on swappable sets of rings and necklaces. :D And I've still not used Dreugh Wax and Stonepetal! Or Stahlrim!
Get muffle and soul trap, make illusion and conjuration cost nothing, find a smithing trainer, use muffle to level up each time, get smithing to 30, get dwarven smithing, get about 3 solid dwemer metal, dupe the metal, get iron ingots, make bows to level smithing fast. Fry fish at the second waterfall downstream of the guardian stones (for salmon roe), obtain Nordic barnacle, obtain garlic, dupe the ingredients (up to about 200 if you have an alchemy armor set) and create potions with those ingredients. Sell the potions individually to someone until 50 speech for merchant perk, and get many skills up.
The only duplication for me is Azura's Star plus storing copies in my home of cool items I destroy (i.e. Gloves of the Pugilist). Alchemy leveling is so fast when done properly (Thief Stone, Well Rested, only train 3-4 levels at a time to cheese the 30% bonus XP) that I don't find shortcuts appealing anymore.
5 novice robes of spell reduction and magika regen. Destruction - college of winterhold. Conjuration - Hrodulfs shack on Hrodulfs corpse. Illusion - angaline's aromatics upstairs in the master bedroom on a shelf next to the bed above your head. Alteration/restoration vigilant's of Stendarr random encounters.

I always get the Falkreath house built before I go down the enchanting path. It's good to get a system going for where you store things for smothing/alchemy/enchanting and crafting your house. Plant one of each ingredient you use most out of the rarer stuff and get the green fingers perk.
@@flowflips3172 it's a part of the hearth fire expansion. I've only ever owned the goty version on 360 so don't know if you do get offered a different house in Falkreath but assume you would as its one of the 9 major holds and has an jarl.
really good video, i HIGHLY appreciate you poiting unique enchantments that can be disenchanted; the chaos damage and fiery soul trap. (both op if put in a dagger or bow) i would note that theres a few other unique disencahntable items, the gloves of pugilist (if you like punching things), and the solitude shield (resist magika and boosts blocking together). also also, one thats is more known, theres the mage robes that are a superior spell cost reduction as they come with magika reneration aswell.
I usually go for the fiery souls enchantment as soon as possible. Then, if I'm a mage, I give fiery soul trap weapon to my follower along with plenty of soul gems to fill. I use weak, but with a lot of charges enhancement, as it is with fiery soul trap, damage stays the same, soul trap length shortens, amount of charges increases. Great for a weapon that is supposed to kill, 1 sec soul trap is more than enough. If I'm any type of fighter then I'll use fiery soul trap in exactly the same way on my weapon. I then go steal some soul gems, go through some dwarven ruins to get soul gems and plenty of dwarven ingots. I go through several mines starting with steam halted camp to get transmutation. Then I make plenty of gold rings and enchant them. Training both smithing and enchanting, then I make plenty of dwarven bows and enchant them. This way not only isn't cheating but raises your crafting skills gradually along your combat skills. I'd never use one handed and two handed on the same piece of equipment. Me enchantments: Helmet:(archery), destruction, restoration/alteration Chest:health, stamina or more of the cost reductions Hands: 2handed, (archery), carry weight/block/sneaking Boots: 2handed, muffle Ring: 2handed, magic resist Amulet: 2handed, magic resist 2h weapon v1: chaos DMG, fiery soul trap 2h weapon v2: chaos DMG, absorb health Bow: chaos DMG, shock DMG (deals with mages easier) With my usual Breton build (Breton master race) and mara agent buff I got 80% magic resistance, tons of DMG, fair bit of health, my enchantments on weapons don't wear off too fast and I can sneak on some enemies even in heavy armor with 2h weapon, this assumes that you may want to dabble in archery (). As a matter of followers gear, stacking resistances and health/stamina/magicka/magicka regen works the best as fortify skill don't work for them. I know I'm late to the party but I guess it's worth sharing 10 years experience with my favourite skill tree

@1:47 how did u get the gear from that lady to disenchant?? I spoke to her and didn't get anything, just spoke to her about the Psijics and what's expected from me at the college..
Loving your guides man!!! Been playing Skyrim on my new switch oled and I’ve leveled my enchantment and smithing up to 100 thanks to you. Could you please do one for alchemy as well? Thanks!
While I am sure there is a speedier way, getting a giant's toe, a wheat and a blue butterfly wing will generate a potion with three effects that is worth a crazy amount of money. Make those. You have to kill lots of giants though. Make potions of slow and paralysis to kill giants with a bow that has frost enchanting. I'm sure there are faster ways but that will get you up very fast.

it is possible to wear a circlet under a Penitus Oculatus helmet. since it is like that in the original game, i dont consider it as cheating. with this littel trick and having the alchemy & enchanting tree on lvl 100, you're able to make busted enchantments without cheating.
Solstheim has one more crafting related secret: Black Book - The Sallow Regent. Quest ends with 3 rewards: seeker of might, sorcery and shadows. Each of them boosting +10%: smithing, enchanting and alchemy respectively (also can be switched at every given moment after book related quest is finished). As for creating fortify smithing and alchemy gear, there is one more secret: falmer helmet which - only for vanilla skyrim without unofficial patch - player can wear with circlet simultaneously (head gear can be enchanted with fortify alchemy). Combine this with new ingredients added by CC in anniversary skyrim (rare curios creation) like dreugh wax and stoneflower petals which are much stronger than vanilla skyrim's enchanting boosting ingredients and player can create fortify enchanting potions more powerful than ever. Crafting in modded Skyrim can be even more broken :DD For example immersive armors mod allowing player to wear: earings, eyepatches, masks, collars, capes etc., and every new item can be enchanted with fortify alchemy or smithing :)
Now it could just be a modi have doing something I don't know about, but does restoration strength effect certain other enchantments? Because I noticed to did for me and I am pretty sure my miss aren't doing this
I enchanted some light armour and it said it would give me 8 light armour skill point but when I crafted it it only said 1 armour skill point is this a bug?
Great video I really like all of these you explain things well and you show some good build you can make after and also show things make your life better or that are helpful to youn
Pretty sure the hidden chest in dawnstar is not there if you have the unofficial skyrim patch enabled. Just disable it if you want the khajit girl's stuff.
been loving these guides but wouldn't it be easier to enchant rings? since u can make LOTS of them by forging edit: never mind not alot of npc's buy enchanted rings
Guide ht max out enchantment values on your gear without glitches or cheats (it's op, even on legendary - e.g. ftf. alchemy gear: 36%, ftf. enchanting potions: 46%, ftf. sneaking gear: 59%) Get enchantment to lvl 100 + perks and alchemy to lvl 100 + the first 5 perks + "benefactor" Get 4 pieces of Ahzidals armour and wear them while enchanting. Activate magic seeker which you get in the process of getting the armour by reading a black book. Craft 5 pieces with "fortify alchemy" (5, because falmer helmet and circlets can be worn together; so then you got a falmer helmet, circlet, ring, necklace and bracers). The maximum which I got for the 5 pieces is 36% each - with this you can craft 46% ftf. enchantment potions, which is 1% stronger than the one with 45%, which google names as the maximum). To do this, you constantly need to switch between ftf. alchemy gear and shadow seeker which also fortifies alchemy for making stronger enchantment potions and Ahzidals gear and magic seeker while enchanting after drinking the stronger ftf. enchantment potion. The maximum for ftf. smithing potions is 185%, and for the gear 36% - at least thats the max I got out with all of my equipment and perks - maybe you know a bit more. You can craft some really overpowered gear with this which feels like cheating or using glitches - but it is simply the maximum achievable in the game as far as I know. The only problem I now have is to craft weapons which don't absolutely crush my enemies into dust... Greets J.
very good tips and all but in my opinion for players to enjoy the game is to play and discover things on their own because seeing tips on how to do things will kill the fun, it's my opinion and how I like to play the games
Does leveling enchanting that high have any negative side effects, like enemies getting really strong because you leveled too much? Im already level 33 on my character and my enchanting is only around 42. Should I get it higher?
The enemies scale with your overall level. as the game progresses so it depends. If you hit level 50 but your skills that use your attack stats your gonna be doing trash damage. Think of enchanting and alchemy as supplements to the main skills. You don’t need them to become powerful. But boy is it nice being able to do more damage in the long run. Like with the last few mins of the video where he showed you how to basically get zero magic costs for the spells in each category. Enchanting makes a mage playthrough stupid easy because you don’t have to worry about Magicka regeneration since you’re not using any Magicka when using spells.
What’s the best legit way to way to get soul gems filled with a pure orc mage no weapons used. And my followers are pure mages as well no weapons used. What’s the difference in getting the black star vs azuras. I’ve read that azuras is just as good so idk. Please help with getting soul gems filled with no weapons easiest way. Can’t seem to find any insight on this.
Gather as much Nordic Barnicle, Salmon Roe and Garlic as you can, equip as much alchemy boosting stuff as possible and starting making those high value potions.
Wtf. I tried the cheat and now the blacksmith disappeared, the merchant inside whitehall disappeared, and a damn dragon has a hard on for me every minute I’m there. The cat people don’t even sell anything because the dragon is always there. Shitty glitch or what? I’ve reset, gone away for a while, and tried various things but nothing will change now

Because I noticed to did for me and I am pretty sure my miss aren't doing this
Man, I just ground 100 enchant the hard way.. a day later I watch this!!
8:12 how did he drop them like that?
I enchanted some light armour and it said it would give me 8 light armour skill point but when I crafted it it only said 1 armour skill point is this a bug?
You gotta get a better soul gem or suffer lower charges.
Nice one brother bless you
Great video I really like all of these you explain things well and you show some good build you can make after and also show things make your life better or that are helpful to youn
I love your sense of humor lol
amazing content bro. Thank you
Pretty sure the hidden chest in dawnstar is not there if you have the unofficial skyrim patch enabled. Just disable it if you want the khajit girl's stuff.
Love these videos
been loving these guides but wouldn't it be easier to enchant rings? since u can make LOTS of them by forging
edit: never mind not alot of npc's buy enchanted rings
You can also use the lighthouse to get to blackreach
This video is awesome! Thank you so much!
These guide are the absolute BEST. Thank you!
Amazing im new supporter plz heart god bless..
Great information nicely done
The khejat aren’t at dawnstar for me
Don't the grand soul gems lose the souls when you drop them on the ground? Yours seem to keep them
That's what I was thinking, i can't believe you're the only one who commented this
Guide ht max out enchantment values on your gear without glitches or cheats (it's op, even on legendary - e.g. ftf. alchemy gear: 36%, ftf. enchanting potions: 46%, ftf. sneaking gear: 59%)
Get enchantment to lvl 100 + perks and alchemy to lvl 100 + the first 5 perks + "benefactor"
Get 4 pieces of Ahzidals armour and wear them while enchanting.
Greets J.
The gem pickup glitch does not work. Been trying for a week now.
very good tips and all but in my opinion for players to enjoy the game is to play and discover things on their own because seeing tips on how to do things will kill the fun, it's my opinion and how I like to play the games
My follower and old mage lady from Winddawn or windgard disapper hiw can i get them back?
This isn’t a guide, this is one guys enchanting play through
As with the gold ingots do you have to stay with the follower while they pick up the sole gem's of can you fast travel straight away then back
been wanting to make a heavy gear to make 2 hand weapons and light gear for 1 hand weapon. how can I raise my enchantments from 33% to 50%
Does leveling enchanting that high have any negative side effects, like enemies getting really strong because you leveled too much?
@@JH-gu4hj alright thanks. I guess I'll try keeping it around the same level as my main combat skills. I've already overleveld smithing anyways
Enchanting, alchemy, and smithing make the game easier hence fun
Love the elder scrolls series
Still a noob after all these years, do black and grand soul gems have the same effect on enchantments
Can someone plz explain to me how the black star thing work like I can only use that for one item or what ?
I disenchanted a ring that gave me 20+ stamina and now it doesn't let me disenchant boots that give me 50 stamina what do I do
What’s the best legit way to way to get soul gems filled with a pure orc mage no weapons used. And my followers are pure mages as well no weapons used. What’s the difference in getting the black star vs azuras. I’ve read that azuras is just as good so idk. Please help with getting soul gems filled with no weapons easiest way. Can’t seem to find any insight on this.
what mod are you using to make the map look like that?
Can you do an alchemy guide please?
I will be yes!
Gather as much Nordic Barnicle, Salmon Roe and Garlic as you can, equip as much alchemy boosting stuff as possible and starting making those high value potions.
Spending a little bit of time in the soul cairn is a very easy way to get filled soul gems
I have sneak at 100 skill and all the perks. Does wearing gear or using a spell to boost your sneak skills actually do anything?
on 8:14 how did u drop it so fast?
Time to load up a new save lmao
Wtf. I tried the cheat and now the blacksmith disappeared, the merchant inside whitehall disappeared, and a damn dragon has a hard on for me every minute I’m there. The cat people don’t even sell anything because the dragon is always there. Shitty glitch or what? I’ve reset, gone away for a while, and tried various things but nothing will change now
You need to ask her to trade to rest th chest if they don't spawn go to another city wait a week then go back and wait again
@@GameVibzMason ok, thanks. I ended up killing the dragon and now he only reappears every 4 days. Thanks for the guide! I finally got to enchantment 100
How do you get destruction and alteration have 26% less to cast(what perks do you need)
Is there a "Fortify Enchanting" enchantment, or would that cause a self-perpetuating eternal loop of OPness?
You can only Fortify Enchanting with Alchemy, the Suit I showed and 1 effect from a black book
There is no way to make enchanting level faster besides Atherial Crown + Lover Stone, Mage Stone and Lovers Comfort = +50% exp gained per enchantment.
