Did this and I gave Lydia a weapon which did 20,000 damage, crafted some heavy armor that was enchanted with a health Enchant which gave me 900,000 health, provoked her to attack me, one hit and my 25 in heavy armor went to 100, blocked with my shield and my 30 in blocking went up to 100, rinse, repeat.
I consider using this glitch as part of my characters canon, where his studies lead him to unraveling the mysteries of Aetherius and ascending to godhood 😂.

Well, I mean I never thought about the unraveling all the mysteries of Aetherius aspect, but he/she is Shor, reincarnated, so it’s not really that outlandish. I think that may actually be the reason it’s in the game. I don’t think Bethesda forgot or was simply too lazy to patch it. I think they put it in the game intentionally.

I got around it by enchanting a ring with 360000% fortify smithing.... it was fun but kinda sucked when I kept legendarying my smithing and went from level 69 to 82 really damn quickly.... it took upgrading 2 iron maces to do ridiculous damage to go from lvl 15 to 100... then the ebony warrior challenged me and I killed him in one hit.... life seemed pointless... a complete waste of 3 years... so I loaded an old save and now I'm back to being a lvl 69 assassin legitimately

My game constantly crashes when I enchant and I have it at 5,500% which gives the weapon 18k attack. How can I ever get this high!? lol Is it because I’m on PS4 and that has a lower number count or something?

My opinion on alchemy is that it is quite weak if you aren't exploiting the game but when you do abuse it, the perk tree becomes the strongest as it powers both smithing and enchanting as well as doing its own damage and effects.
This guide is useful if you like the asthetic of certain weapons for armor that are generally considered low quality in the game. Instead of getting the generic daedric armor, you can use this exploit to create a custom set of any armor or weaponry that is just as good if not better. So as long as you put some limitation on the strength of your gear to keep it from being overpowered, this can actually be really good for role-playing.
SidV101 I know about the armor cap, I mostly meant enchantments and weapon damage. An unbalanced sword would do 10 million damage, but a "balanced" sword would do 150-250 damage. Also, instead of increase health by 2 million, how about increase health by 100 instead?

Most of my swords do 130-350 damage (130 ish on items that dont benefit from smithing perks) and that's not even with 100 in the skill or all 5 perks in the beginning skill. 100 alchemy, 100 enchanting, make alchemy gear that does 29% improvement on 4 pieces (5 if use a falmer helmet and circlet) and that it. Make fortify smithing and enchanting potions, upgade your weapon and make some fortify one/two handed or archery gear and you're set. Even then it's too strong for me, you still kill most enemies in 1-2 hits(bow sneak attacks pretty much kill everything in one hit on legendary) and tougher ones might take 5-8. I went to using the ghostblade and carefully upgraded blades sword that does 150 damage just so fights last longer.
Don’t know if anyone has said this, but if you don’t want to spend the gold on the grand soul gems than just use the chest in dawnstar. They usually have a filled grand soul gem or two in the chest. Preferably use it when the khajiit merchants are camped out in dawnstar so you can use the merchant restock glitch.
I've never had any problems going to the secret chest in Dawnstar,no merchant camping outside, after I empty the chest I go back to Whiterun and sleep for 2 weeks then go back,no merchant but the chest is full lol.
All you need are the pugilist gloves from the Fist guy in the Ratway. Gives you bonus on unarmed attacks. Being Kahjiit helps too, as they have a bonus 15 damage with their claw perk.

In case anyone had trouble like me, this thing still works. The reason it wasn't working was because my alchemy level was too low, so every potion only increased the effects by 1 percent or so. If you've upgraded your alchemy to increase the potency of your potion, it still works like a charm.
@@tylerbeagle7327 mine lasts about the same for weapons. I posted the comment after reviewing only the armour enchantments (which don't have charges), so I'm sorry if I caused confusion. My best advice would be to enchant armour with fortify smithing then upgrade your weapon. Hope this helps!
Just tried this and it does work guys. It’s 06/27/21 and this works if you don’t have any mods installed. You really have to keep making the Fortify Restoration Potions one at a time then drink the potion right after one at a time. Once you do that and go to your Apparel and un-equip and then re-equip the enchanted items (Helmet, Gauntlets, Necklace and Ring) and you will see the stats start to stack up. Keep making the Fortify Restoration potion and drink them one at a time to see the glitch work. Follow his instructions CAREFULLY and you will be successful. Good luck

fun fact, you can get an extra boost by using the falmer light helm and a circlet. For whatever reason, Skyrim lets you wear both these two items at the same time and both can be enchanted for extra smithing and alchemy.
I have the elder scrolls v special edition with dlc and there's a glitch that allows me to wear the worn shrouded cowl, the ancient shrouded cowl, the penitus oculodus helmet-light armor, and wear my daedric helmet. I can use enchantments on the worn shrouded cowl, the penitus oculotus helmet, and the daedric helmet. the ancient shrouded cowl unfortunately already has the 35% bow damage.

You don't need to kill the shop keeper. Just punch her, once she is in combat it resets her inventory, just reload once she is hostile. You'll also get a ton of salt from the barrels in Riften so go there first before visiting the alchemy store. Also looting the barrels will not count as stealing so you do not need to be stealthed.
good advice, except i think the fish barrels do count as stealing, so give the potion to that one dock working argonian, and you can steal with impunity.
I used this with the Hearthfire DLC to make an OP dagger for my adopted son so he was immortal. The only thing is he's a coward and runs from everything.
It occurs to me that this method could be used to create Fortify Magicka and Magicka Regen gear. This would basically give you unlimited power (cue Darth Sidious laughing), but it wouldn't necessarily break the game like this one-hit kill weapon does (see Return of The Jedi climax for reference).

Mario Landeros vXSharinneganXv I absolutely agree. It is an AMAZING game and playing it is actually pretty easy compared to a lot of games. And it is HUGE! I just love that aspect. I can ride around on my horse and kill monsters to build up and I haven't found any place that is at the limits of the game. I've climbed mountains and swam deep into the lakes and rivers. (With the aid of my Necklace of Waterbreathing, I can't drown!) I find it amazing just how big the game is! Ya, I'm building my 2 handed weapon and health and stamina for now. I'm only level 12 1/2, so I'm learning!! 😊 Watching the videos from ESO has been a MASSIVE help also.

Personally I love duel wielding swords so I upgrade one handed but if two handed is your thing, upgrade it, if it's archery and sneak, upgrade that. Well, if you are a vampire, just turn into a vampire lord and kill them. Then, if you need the yellow mountain flower again, you can take your newly enchanted daggers and kill them off.
Actually, I just thought of a cool role play scenario. My character finds an old piece of paper explaining what to do and how to create it, but some of it is torn and the remains of the writer are on the ground. So my character does exactly what the paper does and then he uses the weapon some people and powerful beasts and him being who he is, hide the weapon away, deeming it too powerful for a mere man to wield. On second thought, it sounds cooler in my head.
I just did this for myself in anniversary edition. I found that the fortify restoration requires quite the side quest. However, upon doing it I noticed it permanently bumped my "orcish armor of eminent stamina, though it's actually boots" up to adding 200k stamina... fun. But I'm going to make a bow that only does 300 damage or less.

All the barrels in Riften have like 3 salt piles each. Near the docks and barrels in merchant stores. I have like 60 salt piles now just from like 10 mins
I've gone through the main quest line and not come across a skeleton key. I'm guessing it's perhaps part of the thieves guild quest line? I haven't done that one, so the lock picking ring is amazing for me. 😊
Still works but MAKE SURE you have Alchemist 3/5.I also recommend saving alot and dont go crazy on the percentage otherwise it glitches when you make the fortify enchanting potion and makes it only 1% more effective instead of the huge number your fortify alchemy gear has, also make the fortify alchemy ring quickly after your finished making your first set of gear because the percentage on your first lot of gear dissappears quite quickly.
while getting the yellow mountain flowers, after you grab the initial 26 around the statue. Follow the stone stair path to the southwest from the statue in the center 6:57 to find an additional 20~25 more yellow flowers (you have to look around a lot but I found about 54 in total) among other herbs for alchemy i.e. dragon's tongue, lavender, red, blue, and purple mountain flowers.
@@MayoAddict475 or better yet, Merchant chests. If you know where they are you can just fast travel between them and just take the Grand soul gems. You can also save a lot of time by just grabbing salt piles and fish and using your follower to pull a Jesus.

there is a duplication glitch that you can use if anyone wants to. what I do is I go to a place called Bleak Falls Barrow. first grab a follower it does not matter who then go to Bleak Falls Barrow and kill all of the enemies outside of it then enter and kill the first two enemies that you see inside. You do not have to clear the entire Barrow just the first two that you see upon entering. now Whatever item that you want to duplicate you must drop on the ground outside of Bleak Falls Barrow then have your follower pick the item up. it is best for you to drop her items you have individually and not as a stack and it's good to have multiple of Whatever item it is as it increases the chance of it being duplicated. now that your follower has picked up the items you must go into Bleak Falls Barrow and then immediately exit, you should now see that some of the items if not all have been duplicated on the ground. Pick up these items then go into your followers inventory selecting their items and dropped on the ground again. repeat this process as many times as you wish to get as many of an item as you need. this works on most items armor ingredients excetera. it does not seem to work on Quest related items as you cannot remove Quest related items from your inventory. it also does not seem to work with albino spider pods of certain types. I found this to be very helpful in saving money and in making money. hope this helps PS sorry I'm using auto text on my phone because my screen is pretty messed up. So I'm unable to capitalize the beginning of my sentences.
Faranox i use Whiterun its easy since your house is at the main gate and 1 full Wuld Nah Kest (Whirlwind Sprint) can get you to your house when over encumbered
Make sure through the process if buying salt piles you buy any of the other ingredients you need that she happens to be selling so when in shops keep an eye out for Salt pile abacean longfin Ciredelic spadetail Lunar moth Yellow mountain flowers Ancestor moth Snow berries Blue butterfly Soul gems (Grand) Fortify alchemy enchantment There are tons of locations to get all of these things but shopkeepers tend to collect all kinds of bs and if you're lucky enough to find them I'd pick them up it speeds up this process exponentially

just as a tip for anyone coming to watch this video in 2020 there is a glitch where your weapon enchantment won't work when attacking. however, there is a fix. because your weapon enchantment is too much for your normal character you must use the method in the video and craft a piece of armor with the enchantment fortify destruction this will fix it. however if it doesn't while wearing the armor immediately after enchanting your weapon using the method in the video quick save, close your game, and reload this will fix the problem. also for anyone wondering every single exploit and glitch in the original game is in the Nintendo Switch port of the game so this exploit that ESO does will work on Switch. cheers to anyone who reads this comment
Don't know for certain why it crashes but make sure the Fortify Restoration potion has worn off before you drink the Fortify Enchanting potion and make an Enchantment. It may help.
Bacon Da Turtle there's an easier way to do it you just have to get the ring of God mode mod it makes all of your potions 99999% more powerful so you can just make an enchanting potion and then enchant items
Idk about Special Edition, but in regular Skyrim you can just press F5 to do quick save, immediately hit the merchant (merchant doesn't have to die) and hit F9 to load from your quicksave. Much easier way and faster way for keyboard and mouse players to reset merchant's wares.
If you scour the entire ancestral glaive you get way more than simply 17 Yellow mountain flowers. I found 40+ yellow mountain flowers, 20ish red mountain flowers, 19 purple mountain flowers, and 10 blues

I've mentioned this before, but for those who don't know you can find the Fortify Health Enchantment over in Saarthal in one of the first quest in the College of Winterhold storyline. When you have to find 3 Enchanted Rings, they all have Fortify Health on them. Just be sure to disenchant one of them.

I find if you play with the level of restopop, enchantment, and soul gems, you can make single pieces of equipment that will be about max level for the 4 it usually takes for alchemy and smithing- just for convenience. I usually make one for normal and one for extreme. you can get some Very interesting effects out of various "fortify magic" potions, like more or less permanent mage armor, or paralyzing somebody Forever. I generally use these cheats to give myself either unlimited or super fast regen on mana and stamina, make lockpicks just Work, and make a super sneak ring, just so I've got a ring of invisibility if I need it. Doesn't Break the game, but it cuts out some things that annoy me. just something to play with.
If the enchantment costs more per cast than the soul gem used to make the enchant has, it will not do extra damage. If it costs all of the charge each cast, you'll need to recharge the weapon after each use. You can bypass the need to ever recharge an enchanted weapon by enchanting gear to reduce magicka cost. 100% reduced Destruction magicka cost enchant means Fire etc. damage enchants don't cost any charge.

My opinion on alchemy is that it is quite weak if you aren't exploiting the game but when you do abuse it, the perk tree becomes the strongest as it powers both smithing and enchanting as well as doing its own damage and effects.

This guide is useful if you like the asthetic of certain weapons for armor that are generally considered low quality in the game. Instead of getting the generic daedric armor, you can use this exploit to create a custom set of any armor or weaponry that is just as good if not better. So as long as you put some limitation on the strength of your gear to keep it from being overpowered, this can actually be really good for role-playing.

SidV101 I know about the armor cap, I mostly meant enchantments and weapon damage. An unbalanced sword would do 10 million damage, but a "balanced" sword would do 150-250 damage. Also, instead of increase health by 2 million, how about increase health by 100 instead?

Most of my swords do 130-350 damage (130 ish on items that dont benefit from smithing perks) and that's not even with 100 in the skill or all 5 perks in the beginning skill. 100 alchemy, 100 enchanting, make alchemy gear that does 29% improvement on 4 pieces (5 if use a falmer helmet and circlet) and that it. Make fortify smithing and enchanting potions, upgade your weapon and make some fortify one/two handed or archery gear and you're set. Even then it's too strong for me, you still kill most enemies in 1-2 hits(bow sneak attacks pretty much kill everything in one hit on legendary) and tougher ones might take 5-8. I went to using the ghostblade and carefully upgraded blades sword that does 150 damage just so fights last longer.

Don’t know if anyone has said this, but if you don’t want to spend the gold on the grand soul gems than just use the chest in dawnstar. They usually have a filled grand soul gem or two in the chest. Preferably use it when the khajiit merchants are camped out in dawnstar so you can use the merchant restock glitch.
I've never had any problems going to the secret chest in Dawnstar,no merchant camping outside, after I empty the chest I go back to Whiterun and sleep for 2 weeks then go back,no merchant but the chest is full lol.

All you need are the pugilist gloves from the Fist guy in the Ratway. Gives you bonus on unarmed attacks. Being Kahjiit helps too, as they have a bonus 15 damage with their claw perk.

In case anyone had trouble like me, this thing still works. The reason it wasn't working was because my alchemy level was too low, so every potion only increased the effects by 1 percent or so. If you've upgraded your alchemy to increase the potency of your potion, it still works like a charm.
Just did this but my weapons lose charge after a couple kills. How long does yours last?
@@tylerbeagle7327 mine lasts about the same for weapons. I posted the comment after reviewing only the armour enchantments (which don't have charges), so I'm sorry if I caused confusion. My best advice would be to enchant armour with fortify smithing then upgrade your weapon. Hope this helps!

Just tried this and it does work guys. It’s 06/27/21 and this works if you don’t have any mods installed. You really have to keep making the Fortify Restoration Potions one at a time then drink the potion right after one at a time. Once you do that and go to your Apparel and un-equip and then re-equip the enchanted items (Helmet, Gauntlets, Necklace and Ring) and you will see the stats start to stack up. Keep making the Fortify Restoration potion and drink them one at a time to see the glitch work. Follow his instructions CAREFULLY and you will be successful. Good luck

fun fact, you can get an extra boost by using the falmer light helm and a circlet. For whatever reason, Skyrim lets you wear both these two items at the same time and both can be enchanted for extra smithing and alchemy.

I have the elder scrolls v special edition with dlc and there's a glitch that allows me to wear the worn shrouded cowl, the ancient shrouded cowl, the penitus oculodus helmet-light armor, and wear my daedric helmet. I can use enchantments on the worn shrouded cowl, the penitus oculotus helmet, and the daedric helmet. the ancient shrouded cowl unfortunately already has the 35% bow damage.
i can where the Ancient shrouded cowl + 35% bow damage and shrouded hood + 25% sneak together

You don't need to kill the shop keeper. Just punch her, once she is in combat it resets her inventory, just reload once she is hostile. You'll also get a ton of salt from the barrels in Riften so go there first before visiting the alchemy store. Also looting the barrels will not count as stealing so you do not need to be stealthed.
good advice, except i think the fish barrels do count as stealing, so give the potion to that one dock working argonian, and you can steal with impunity.

It occurs to me that this method could be used to create Fortify Magicka and Magicka Regen gear. This would basically give you unlimited power (cue Darth Sidious laughing), but it wouldn't necessarily break the game like this one-hit kill weapon does (see Return of The Jedi climax for reference).

I can ride around on my horse and kill monsters to build up and I haven't found any place that is at the limits of the game. I've climbed mountains and swam deep into the lakes and rivers. (With the aid of my Necklace of Waterbreathing, I can't drown!) I find it amazing just how big the game is!

Personally I love duel wielding swords so I upgrade one handed but if two handed is your thing, upgrade it, if it's archery and sneak, upgrade that. Actually, I just thought of a cool role play scenario. My character finds an old piece of paper explaining what to do and how to create it, but some of it is torn and the remains of the writer are on the ground. So my character does exactly what the paper does and then he uses the weapon some people and powerful beasts and him being who he is, hide the weapon away, deeming it too powerful for a mere man to wield. On second thought, it sounds cooler in my head.

I just did this for myself in anniversary edition. I found that the fortify restoration requires quite the side quest.
However, upon doing it I noticed it permanently bumped my "orcish armor of eminent stamina, though it's actually boots" up to adding 200k stamina... fun. But I'm going to make a bow that only does 300 damage or less.

Still works but MAKE SURE you have Alchemist 3/5.I also recommend saving alot and dont go crazy on the percentage otherwise it glitches when you make the fortify enchanting potion and makes it only 1% more effective instead of the huge number your fortify alchemy gear has, also make the fortify alchemy ring quickly after your finished making your first set of gear because the percentage on your first lot of gear dissappears quite quickly.

i tried to get the flowers but they went there inside the cave why??????
I did that
while getting the yellow mountain flowers, after you grab the initial 26 around the statue. Follow the stone stair path to the southwest from the statue in the center 6:57 to find an additional 20~25 more yellow flowers (you have to look around a lot but I found about 54 in total) among other herbs for alchemy i.e. dragon's tongue, lavender, red, blue, and purple mountain flowers.

You can also save a lot of time by just grabbing salt piles and fish and using your follower to pull a Jesus.

there is a duplication glitch that you can use if anyone wants to. what I do is I go to a place called Bleak Falls Barrow. first grab a follower it does not matter who then go to Bleak Falls Barrow and kill all of the enemies outside of it then enter and kill the first two enemies that you see inside. You do not have to clear the entire Barrow just the first two that you see upon entering. now Whatever item that you want to duplicate you must drop on the ground outside of Bleak Falls Barrow then have your follower pick the item up. it is best for you to drop her items you have individually and not as a stack and it's good to have multiple of Whatever item it is as it increases the chance of it being duplicated. now that your follower has picked up the items you must go into Bleak Falls Barrow and then immediately exit, you should now see that some of the items if not all have been duplicated on the ground. Pick up these items then go into your followers inventory selecting their items and dropped on the ground again. repeat this process as many times as you wish to get as many of an item as you need. this works on most items armor ingredients excetera. it does not seem to work on Quest related items as you cannot remove Quest related items from your inventory. it also does not seem to work with albino spider pods of certain types. I found this to be very helpful in saving money and in making money. hope this helps PS sorry I'm using auto text on my phone because my screen is pretty messed up. So I'm unable to capitalize the beginning of my sentences.

It doesn't work for me for some reason, the loop stops at 19% fortify enchantment.
Turns out that for this to work.. you have to have at least level 30 of Alchemy If I'm not mistaken and some perks to make the potions stronger.

Harley Burgett Fortify Restoration. It's just an easy to find location with a lot of those flowers.

just as a tip for anyone coming to watch this video in 2020 there is a glitch where your weapon enchantment won't work when attacking. however, there is a fix. because your weapon enchantment is too much for your normal character you must use the method in the video and craft a piece of armor with the enchantment fortify destruction this will fix it. however if it doesn't while wearing the armor immediately after enchanting your weapon using the method in the video quick save, close your game, and reload this will fix the problem. also for anyone wondering every single exploit and glitch in the original game is in the Nintendo Switch port of the game so this exploit that ESO does will work on Switch. cheers to anyone who reads this comment

Don't know for certain why it crashes but make sure the Fortify Restoration potion has worn off before you drink the Fortify Enchanting potion and make an Enchantment. It may help.
ok it started working a while ago only thing is if the enchanting potion is above 100000k the game chrashes has to be 99999k or less
Bacon Da Turtle there's an easier way to do it you just have to get the ring of God mode mod it makes all of your potions 99999% more powerful so you can just make an enchanting potion and then enchant items

Idk about Special Edition, but in regular Skyrim you can just press F5 to do quick save, immediately hit the merchant (merchant doesn't have to die) and hit F9 to load from your quicksave. Much easier way and faster way for keyboard and mouse players to reset merchant's wares.

If you scour the entire ancestral glaive you get way more than simply 17 Yellow mountain flowers. I found 40+ yellow mountain flowers, 20ish red mountain flowers, 19 purple mountain flowers, and 10 blues

and if he does, have some sort of enchantment that damages people nearby

I've mentioned this before, but for those who don't know you can find the Fortify Health Enchantment over in Saarthal in one of the first quest in the College of Winterhold storyline. When you have to find 3 Enchanted Rings, they all have Fortify Health on them. Just be sure to disenchant one of them.
Good point, the College has some easy-to-miss items and rewards if you're not careful such as the spell Equilibrium

I loved the iron armor but hated how low the armor rating was. Just didn't go overboard and now it's about the same as daedric armor

I find if you play with the level of restopop, enchantment, and soul gems, you can make single pieces of equipment that will be about max level for the 4 it usually takes for alchemy and smithing- just for convenience. I usually make one for normal and one for extreme.
you can get some Very interesting effects out of various "fortify magic" potions, like more or less permanent mage armor, or paralyzing somebody Forever.
I generally use these cheats to give myself either unlimited or super fast regen on mana and stamina, make lockpicks just Work, and make a super sneak ring, just so I've got a ring of invisibility if I need it. Doesn't Break the game, but it cuts out some things that annoy me.

If the enchantment costs more per cast than the soul gem used to make the enchant has, it will not do extra damage. If it costs all of the charge each cast, you'll need to recharge the weapon after each use. You can bypass the need to ever recharge an enchanted weapon by enchanting gear to reduce magicka cost. 100% reduced Destruction magicka cost enchant means Fire etc. damage enchants don't cost any charge.
Maybe grow a pair and play the game the way it's meant to be played.
but,, the game is like 5 years old, i know people (like myself) still play the game like it is meant to be played, but we wanna have fun and do some other shit for once.
