Sorry to inform you, but ALL these eyelash serums & eyebrow serums are Causing Fat Pad Loss in that region. Dr. Rajani, (who also had a YouYube channel) has spoken in this topic. You should go watch his video on it! DITCH those expensive & youth Deteriorating serums, & go for a natural one without those side effects. Or opt for fake lashes. Your eye's will thank you for it!
@@CherylBerryl thank you so much for your reply and suggestions. I have seen Dr R’s video on prostaglandin serums & acknowledge his concerns. For me these serums are not causing any detrimental issues. I am very aware that some have experienced negative side effects and i appreciate your kind concern. My orbital fat loss began well before using prostaglandin containing serums. I have tried fake lashes however can’t tolerate the glue (lid dermatitis reaction) I have also tried some natural serums including caster oil. However for me there were no results. Again, I appreciate the conversation because I feel open honest dialogue is very important. Everyone has a different response to these serums. For me personally Bimatoprost/Revitalash is a wonderful solution but it’s definitely not everyone’s best choice💜
Just found you! Love ❤️ your video & the approach you took in your facial rejuvenation journey. Great information & thank you for sharing! Wishing you lots of happy, healthy, & youthful appearance for many, many, years to come!

@@beyond50skin Hi Cindy. ☺️ Just discovered your channel via the lovely @PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE. Catching up on your videos & already loving your channel!!! I turned 51 years old last month & I’m considering Botox for the first time. Really appreciate you sharing your journey for facial rejuvenation. 🥰
Thank you for this blog. You look great! So tired of reading and hearing women say that we should all be aging gracefully period. If a woman chooses to age without any type of anti-aging intervention then I think that's great. I could never have been one of them. The women in my family do not age well and therefore I have personally taken advantage of some of the wonderful cosmetic procedures that help me prolong the inevitable for as long as I can. If anyone has a problem with that, its their problem and not mine.
I'm 20 but I do read those comments and I find them pretty crazy because excess of skin on the body can actually decrease your life quality. Just like too much excees of skin on your eyelids can obstruct your vision. It's more than just aesthetic and I think taking care of your skin is the actual "aging gracefully". I think it's fine if those people don't worry about the aesthetic part at all, that's on them, but sometimes that just sounds like an excuse to justify the constant negligence on themselves
OMG I am also so tired of people using the slogan of "aging gracefully" and meaning don't do anything about it. I don't want to! It's my body, and I think it's my business and what I do about aging. Thank you for writing this comment.
I started my journey in my early 50s with Botox. I have done laser resurfacing, rf microneedling, Ipl, and filler. I am now 72.5 and people say I look in my late 50s. It has been very costly but well worth it. You look great btw.
Hi Sherry, Thank you. It sounds like our facial rejuvenation stories are very similar! I appreciate you sharing your treatments. Do you feel as I do that your laser resurfacing made the most improvement? Did you have CO2 or Fraxel? You are so right, these treatments sure do cost. But I agree, are well worth it .💜
Your skin looks spectacular and your smile lights up the room. We are living longer and feeling better why not do the best we can to look as good as we feel.❤👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I'm so glad I found this video. I'm 53 & i notice changes coming quick & it's seriously depressing looking in the mirror & know your losing your youthfulness. You give me inspiration & it's amazing what you've been able to accomplish with your skin.
I am so glad you feel inspired! This is what I was hoping🙌💜 people would take away. If you want to make some changes you can! If not, super cool too. But once you have the knowledge you can at least have some authority over changes you may want to make. Or peace with where you are💜. Thanks for sharing.
Oh damn….you saw Dr Idriss?? I adore her YT channel! You look great! I recently turned 57 myself. I’ve stayed out of the sun almost completely (hate direct sunlight) and my skin has thanked me. Never done any procedures except once I got laser to get rid of a broken capillary on my chin (rosacea) and remove some skin tags. I’m a skincare junkie now. My strong jawline has kept the jowls at bay and the fact I wear sunglasses more than anyone I know and have ALWAYS done this (mydriatic pupils and light colored eyes=light sensitivity) has kept the crows feet and under eye sags away as well because I’ve always protected my eyes. I grew up in LA so I’m self conscious as hell. I’ll probably wind up back at the derm’s office when the wrinkles set in lol.
@@pamelagileno5483 Dr Idriss is amazing. You’re so lucky to have been so diligent about avoiding sun exposure over the years. I bet your skin looks AMAZING. I wish we’d been BFFs growing up & your good habits had rubbed off on me!🤣😂💜
I love your language about pro aging. Its so important! I'm 25 so still considerably young and I am so glad us women are changing the way we view aging. As a society we created this negative outlook on anti-aging and I think we can absolutely un-do it . Aging is a gift and beauty exists at all ages!!!
I’m so glad at your age you have this amazing perspective! I too am so appreciative of the times we live in. Having the power & knowledge to forge our future as strong women is such a gift.💜
I appreciate that you are doing procedures that are not ghastly over the top! Your skin looks wonderful ! You are doing what makes you and your skin comfortable, healthy and not freakishly stretched ! You obviously have chosen the right skin care specialists .
Hi Mary & thank you. It actually surprised me once I put the video together how I was looking so much more like myself. I should have put a picture at the end of me when I was 45. Truly feeling a lot more like me again!
Thank you for sharing, Cindy. I am almost 20 years older than you, so anything takes a lot longer, and it is more about not getting worse than rejuvenating. I started my journey in 2019, when I was sick and for the first time ever watched a lot of TH-cam derms and skin care folks who really opened my eyes. I was a soap and water gal, and while I used sunscreen, the recommendations for most of my life were SPF 15, and once a day. I started with basic skincare, tretinoin, high SPF sunscreen, and then went way down the rabbit hole with serums and stuff, and now am trying to get back to basics. ANYWAY, you should actually include your adorable haircut in your rejuvenation!!
Hi Katherine, Can you believe they told us spf 15 was all we needed! It can be so easy to get carried away with all the skincare that’s available these days🙋🏼♀️. I completely agree with you - stick to a routine once you have it down. I try to keep AM & PM to 3-4 steps each (not including the new devices I’m trying 🫣). Thank you so much for the short hair compliment. I am so glad I chopped off the blonde! It was worn out! 🙏 for watching and sharing your journey 🙌💜🙌💜
I just turned 29 and started my skincare journey 2 years ago!! I religiously watch Dr. Idriss here on YT when I saw the clip of her on this video I gasped!!! you're in such great care :')!!! you look amazing
Thank you for your honesty! I am now 70 and starting on this skin care journey, wish I'd started sooner! Luckily it wasn't until about 67-68 that I really started to wrinkle and sag. Age 65 to age 70 was a HUGE difference in my face. I'm using really great skincare now after researching and told my husband about an at home machine that I want for Christmas. I am doing red light for 30 minutes nightly but i only started all this about 2 months ago.I may eventually have a fraxel co2 laser and the smooth and glow sounds really interesting. Many thanks.
Hi, You’re so welcome & thank you for watching & sharing your journey:). Isn’t it interesting how we all experience skin changes at different times? I am so excited for your skincare journey. Keep us posted on how you like your c-mAs gift 🥰 and your in-office treatments if that’s in your plans… I will do a review of Red Light Therapy later this Fall. How are you liking your red light so far? What device did you choose? Thanks again for sharing!💜
@@georgel279 Thank you for watching. I actually haven't had any plastic surgery. Likely what you are noticing in the appearance of "my pulled eyes" is the combination of my genetic eye shape (prominent brow w/ deep set eyes) the use of microcurrent (a very temporary lift to the brow area). botox in my brow area (3 mos ago) and some concealer. To clarify I am not opposed to plastic surgery. I just haven't felt I needed it. Perhaps in the future, tbd.
Thank you for sharing your journey! The results is amazing. I follow a few mature TH-camrs & one seems to avoid cosmetic procedures like a plague. She looks nice with makeup on, but looks 30 years older with no makeup. You skin looks gorgeous without makeup & that is the goal.
True. I’ve also seen one that looks way older with makeup. I’ve always done only concealer and eyeliner so I don’t even know how to give constructive criticism. In my 50’s now so here to learn about makeup and start skin care routine.
@@azulposeido Hi Mimi, definitely start with skincare. It’s such a fun journey. I’m glad you’ve joined the B50S community. There are so many lovely helpful people here 💜
Hi Cindy! You know I’m new to your channel and I was amazed seeing your before picture at 50!! I also loved hearing about all the treatments you’ve had done and your honesty about what you liked and the fact that it will cost money. I embrace your philosophy of “pro aging” the way you want to do it. Absolutely great video!
Hi TIna, Welcome! I was amazed when I looked back too. I feel like me again. I am so glad you enjoyed hearing about my journey. There is so much mystery around getting these treatments. It's time to pull back the curtain! Thank you for watching and for your amazing positivity and support!
I’m 46- been using Botox since I was 32. Because of this, I have virtually no wrinkles on my face. Had my nasal labials done once about 5 years ago with filler.. I believe this has saved me. People think I’m under 30! Sadly my neck is not as great as my face. Guess I’ll have to save up for a lower face lift :/ ahhhh getting old os so damn fun
@@Somebodysomewheresometime I definitely didn’t realize the importance of addressing the neck, décolletage and hands when i started my skincare rejuvenation journey at 50 I’m fascinated by your experience, along with others, who are reporting Botox in their 30’s prevented /softened the appearance & formation of static lines as they approach their 🎉50’s.
Thank you for sharing your journey! You look absolutely amazing! Not only your face, neck and décolleté, but also your hands look young! Most people who had some work done on their face, forget that their hands have also aged. You have young hands, I couldn’t even see any hyperpigmentation spots 😄
Hi Liz, Thank you for watching and for your lovely comments. I've been using the HQ pads (w/ Kojic, Arbutin & Emblica) I'm using on my decollete on my hands and forearms as well to see if I can decrease the pigmentation. I've also recently been masking my hands & feet with the DRMTLGY Lactic Body lotion once or twice a week. I am also now religious about applying SPF to my hands when driving. I think it's all helping a lot. Thank you again and so glad to have you as part of the B50S community.
Aww how sweet of you to say. Jamie Lee is an iconic beauty. I actually did a makeup look-a-like video of her Golden Globe look. Thanks for watching and wishing you a wonderful weekend 💕💜
I agree with you in some respects. You are completely right. Bone-loss will continue and we can’t stop aging with topicals or treatment interventions, for that matter. Aging will progress. I think skincare is very helpful in preserving the vitality of skin and preventing photo-damage. It’s also important to attend to possible pre-cancerous lesions. Of course treatments are a nice bonus along the way but it can’t replace basic skincare & sun protection. As you wisely point out aging will continue regardless. We have to embrace & enjoy the process of well-aging and live life to the fullest in our best skin everyday. Thank you so much for commenting and watching and wishing you a lovely day.💜💕
Hi. I am 54, and just starting my facial rejuvenation journey. I am researching everything to develop a plan at this point. I used to like my reflection in the mirror. Now, I don't even recognize "me". Out of all the content creators I've watched, you seem to be the most relatable. I don't understand these woman in their 20's who create this type of content. I only wish I had been as diligent at that age though.Anyway, I am so happy I found you, and look forward to following you on my journey.Your transformation is impressive, I must say! I only hope I see as much change as what you have achieved. Great job!
Happy you found me and the beyond50skin community too! Your story is my exact story. I completely didn’t recognize myself! I’m so glad to hear that you’ve started your planning and your journey. It’s an exciting one. Keep us posted on your progress. I can’t wait to hear how things go.😊💜
I’m 44 I am still getting mistaken for being in my late 20s but here I am researching as much as I can because, just like you said, in the video, you need to have a plan and financially things are expensive and you might have to save for them. I must say, I do like that your dermatologist informed you to first develop a good skin care routine as the first step… And now that’s making me realize I’m not even doing the basics yet of washing my face every single day. LOL😁 I will admit when I do the double cleansing in the evening and I wake up with really good skin and I’m just staying at home working from home. I feel like my skin is still clean at the end of the day . but I will tell you, every time I double cleanse something bubbles to the surface like a blemish, and I know that double cleansing really would work even more if I did it every single evening.
Hi thanks for watching and joining the conversation. It's so interesting everyone's skin ages differently. You must be doing something right!! LOL..low stress, lots of sleep, eating well, lots of SPF/sun avoidance? Do tell 😃. Glad to hear you are considering sticking with good skincare, wish I'd started earlier!
Hello, happy to meet you. Penn is one lovely lady to have reached out and recommended so many lovely channels. I can not believe she included me! What a kind gesture. I am so happy you decided to pop on over. I hope you enjoy our little community and look forward to having you as a subscriber. 💜
I have a plan too which I follow but the holy grail for me is spf 50 ++++ prefer the Japanese brands no matter what the weather I use it Every Day, tretinoin at night good nutrition wholefood no processed food and micro needling I don't spend a lot of money on expensive skin care just basic cleanser and moisturiser
I’m so glad I found your channel! Years ago I considered and even met with a Dr regarding CO2 laser (sever acne scarring) and decided not to. I have done a lot of other treatments instead (microneedling, less abrasive peels, trenitoin) While I’m not regretting it, I just turned 51 and truly the other treatments were preventative from other damage, a one-a-done is what I’m looking for now for my scars which have improved.
hi I’m really glad you found my channel 2. It’s nice to have you as part of the group. Wishing you lots of luck finding a provider that you trust and who understands your goals. Keep the group updated on your progress. We’d love to know what you decide and how it goes. 💜
Hello I don’t know if you will this comment since it’s 8 months since you posted this video, I have just found your channel and I appreciate your openness and willingness to share your experiences with us. I am soon to be 56 and am only just starting to get serious about my skincare routine, I have dabbled on and off over the years but I had super oily skin and I could not stand putting anything on my face, it seemed back then that everything I tried just made everything worse and oilier. No the gift that never stops giving aka menopause has changed everything!! I now have combination skin and sensitive skin, borderline rosacea. Products can behave beautifully for days then all of sudden I have a bright red nose or red chest and neck or all three! I have begun to plan / work towards Botox then fillers to start with. (I have set myself a rule that I can’t get any of these procedures done until I have proven that I can maintain my skincare routine) anyway all of this is to say that as I was doing my morning routine this morning I was lamenting at how thin my earlobes were becoming and certain earrings weren’t sitting so well, wondering if lip plumping products would have any effect on my earlobes? And now I’ve found you and this video. I have never heard anyone else say anything about filler for the earlobes and you have given me hope!! That probably sounds silly to most people worrying about earlobes but you truly have made my day!!! Thank you!
Hi Natlie, i am so glad that you found my channel too!! Yes, my ear lobe filler is absolutely one of my most favorite tweakments. it worked absolutely beautifully to plump up my earlobes and help my earrings sit snuggly.. I love that you’re planning a little skincare rejuvenation / selfcare journey for yourself 💕. That’s so exciting.. if you’re comfortable keep the group informed of your journey and how you’re liking your treatments. All the best to you and thanks so much for watching and sharing. PS menopause does change absolutely everything 1000% agreed 😮🫶💕

Good morning! Thanks for watching and for you lovely comment. I am glad you felt this was helpful. Keep the group posted on your skincare rejuvenation journey and how it goes if you decide to go that route💜
I really enjoyed this video. Super and very informative. You look incredible. Worth every penny in my opinion. It’s not just about the superficiality of looks either. If someone gets great results like you it’s a huge confidence booster and that helps all aspects of life. Can’t put a price on that. When I got my teeth fixed I actually smiled a lot more and that helped me connect better with people which has its own merits. Thanks for sharing. Very helpful to anyone on the same anti aging journey.
Hi Amanda, I appreciate you for pointing out that cosmetic aesthetics affects you from the outside in! It’s definitely not just a vanity move. It’s a boost in overall well-being. Thank you so much for sharing, watching and for your kind comments. I know this is going to help someone who is questioning how they want to pro-aged their own way!!💜
Great video. I have had several episodes of periorbital dermatitis. I use tretinoin. I use SPF daily with reapplication. I love how you paced yourself. I am currently getting ready for braces. I just don’t know if I can go the Botox or filler route. But you do look great. I just think that if I ever get really unhappy I’ll get a face lift. But for now I plan to embrace life, aging and things that I can do with skincare and at home devices and focus more on the inside of me. I am not willing to invest the time of multiple visits. I have a hard time taking off of work for annual exams and bi annual teeth cleaning lol. Thank you!
Oh super excited for your braces. My husband just invested in Invisalign. They are however taking forever to arrive!! It’s been over a month. Are you doing full braces or Invisalign? I completely respect you waiting to see if you eventually might like a facelift. If I had known about several surgeon’s work / outcomes when I started my journey I would have opted for a one & surgery vs my seven year journey. Happy Valentines Day 💕
You look beautiful! 🥰 I appreciate your transparency because I think it’s important to understand skincare can make changes but can also only take us so far. I am “mature” by definition at 49 but my youngest is 7 and right now my budget doesn’t allow for much outside of skincare and home devices since I’m a stay at home mom. Admittedly I feel behind other women my age because I can’t get procedures but I’m trying to do what I can at home. I’m definitely curious to hear which devices you’ve chosen because I believe they do work with diligence. Happy Sunday! 💕
Hey Ally, 😘🙏 I remember those days with my little ones. I was lucky if I remembered to wash my face 🤪. Your formulation endeavors are amazing!! You should start a little business like they did in the movie Practical Magic 🪄🧝♀️!!! That would be SO awesome! First dibs on COPT (chief of product testing!😂🤣😂)! I’m completely new to at home devises so will be all ears to hear your thoughts as well. Happy Sunday💜 and if you’re busy cooking up some magical facial wonderfulness I’m jealous 🙌💕
@@beyond50skin I have a few devices, and they are very lonely! I have the Tria anti-aging laser (1440nm, non-ablative). It works-my cheeks and forehead looked airbrushed a bit! But…it’s a 12-week protocol (in the US) and it hurts once you get to the highest level. In Europe it’s an 8-week protocol so I channeled my inner-Irish girl and did that lol. I noticed a difference in about 60 days. I also have a Tripollar RF device, the Nira, and a NuFace, all of which I fail to use consistently. Hopefully your videos on devices will inspire me! 😆
@@merlie3880 I’m interested in at-home devices but am on a very limited budget, so I need to choose wisely:) will you please share before and after photos + share details of your results? Thank you!!🙂
@@Sentimentalist0923 Unfortunately I don’t take before and after pictures (with the exception of tretinoin) and I can definitely share those! Before I stopped working I purchased a radio frequency tool, a NuFace, a Tria laser, a Nira laser, along with a derma roller every month. The radio frequency I have only used a few times so saw no results. The Tria laser improved the surface appearance of my skin-the surface looked smoother after 12 weeks. The Nira laser did absolutely nothing for me! The NuFace seems to give a VERY slight lift in the cheeks but this subsides with discontinued use. The dermaroller helps with fine lines and also helped with a bit of tightening/firming at the surface. The latter is the most effective for me but it’s also not for everyone. Hope that helps! ♥️
Thank you for your lovely comment. It’s been a long journey and I’m so glad to be able to share my story so that others have an idea of the various treatments available, their benefits, risks & limitations. There are plenty of dermatologists talking about all these treatments; but I think it’s really important to show the reality from the patient’s perspective. Thanks much for watching and wishing you a lovely day.💕💜💕

I'm 64. I did botox once a few years ago. I told no one, including my husband. I loved the changes but guess how many people noticed? Absolutely no one. Including my mother, husband and best friend. I would definitely do it again though and possibly an eye lift as I have always had droopy lids. And maybe some filler. Time to start a budget I guess.
Ironically, my best friends never said ONE WORD about my laser experience! And you’ve seen the before, and afters I wonder if people are a shy about commenting on appearance? Of course, my husband and my son knew because I was going through the healing process at home. Or maybe they just didn’t like the way it worked 😂😂😂 In the end, I I’ve done all the treatments I’ve done just for me, my self & I …. My dad actually commented that he thought I had a lip filler… which I’ve never done, only the laser over the top… at least you notice something lol … so funny what people’s impressions are. I say do what ever you want to do! Just for you!!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. This is such an interesting topic. Keep us posted if you have a treatment done and you love or don’t love it. Wishing you an amazing day.💕💜💕

Another great video! Quiet day at work today 😊 I seem to be in a research phase, but think I will stick to tweakments (didn’t know there was a book! I have it on order) until Ellacor becomes much more perfected 😊 you do look amazing - enjoy being on maintenance and holding 😀
Thank you for sharing your experience. You look amazing ! You had a budget, that does not sound radical to me. You are very insightful and l look forward with the end result.
Thank you so much! Definately décolletage added to any facial rejuvenation 👍🏼 And a teeny bit more filler in the temples…? Such a beautiful jawline and cheeks… a bit more temple filler and there’ll be more balance. ..? I’ve added to my temples and love the results. Thank you, I am so glad you enjoyed hearing about my journey. I appreciate your opinion. Can’t wait to see how my décolleté improves🙌. I always feel the temple filler doesn’t make much of a difference. I haven’t had it in years. If I decide to do it you’re in charge of eye spy🤣😂🤣! 💜
Im going the cheap route: Hydrocodone 4% (the most expensive); gua shaw; microcurrent at home followed by Neogenesis recovery just for the post microneedling on upper lip only; face taping. Teeth whitening strips and no more than ten minutes of facial yoga... I'll let you know by December 31 2023! : )
I love your fantastic & holistic self care routine 🙌. I found Hydroquinone to be a game changer. I’m considering starting gua sha myself. TBH I’ve been a bit of a skeptic, but I’ve change my mind on so many things!! I think I’m gonna give it a go. Now that my face is calmed down. I’m also going to go back to cosmetic microneedling. Thank you for watching and commenting. Happy Monday 💜💕
Wow! That is a journey, and I can’t even imagine what it cost. I would love to do some of what you mentioned but it is not in this chick’s budget. You look beautiful!

Great advise! I appreciate your honesty and also choices of not overdoing it! I recently decided not to do pdo threads and just sticking with botox and minimal fillers plus good skin care, so far. I'm nearly 61 and want to look like my best self, not like somebody else!
Hi Margie, I 100% agree. Just a few tweaks here and there make all the difference. Thank you for sharing the treatments you're enjoying and keep the group posted on your pro-aging journey 🙌
Hello and welcome💜… so glad to have you as a new subscriber. I am so glad you found this video helpful. I’ve been wanting to share my journey since beginning my channel :). Dr Idriss is a dream. I feel extremely privileged and excited to have her as my new dermatologist & to be part of the PTD launch. Happy holidays and thanks again for subscribing and being part of the beyond50skin family 💜
Thank you for sharing. I am 50 and have many of these issues too. I want a one and done - facial rejuvenation surgery - hollows, saging and age spots. Not to mention deep set hooded eyes. I have checked out several surgeons for information but they all recommend something different. So frustrating 😢I’m n Texas and you who’s think it would be simpler. But yes treating the whole face, neck and chest are important. You look great! Ty!
Hi Michele, I hear you! It’s hard to find a reputable surgeon who also will address skin rejuvenation at the same time. I hear very good things about Dr Karam’s work in San Diego. Wishing you lots of luck in your search. Keep the group updated if you find “the one” 😊💜. Thanks you for sharing and for your lovely compliment.
OMG u r beautiful i have just started the dr idriss 'major fade' regime since she included🇨🇦 on her "ship to" list i feel like the focused effort is a great plan hyperpig and redness and lines etc😢 (i m turning 70 this yr) i have an open mind and may undertake some of the min invasive things in the future glad i stumbled onto this vid and i was so excited 2 see dr idriss ‼️ i feel i know her having zeroed in on her as my fav utube dermatologist 😊 your description of her approach is awesome just what i hoped 2 hear from a patient ❤ i m gonna watch more of ur videos (u inspire me so 😎)
So excited to have you as part of the beyond50skin NERD 🤓 COMMUNITY💜. Dr idriss is one special dermatologist ! She has such a beautiful natural aesthetic eye for how faces should look and stay looking 100% YOU but BETTER. Again, thank you for your sweet comment and wishing you a fantastic Sunday 💜
Great video of your great results and research ❣️. I’m almost 67 and I shudder when I see post menopausal women with those numerous deep wrinkles so with my frugal budget, I’m keeping my face moisturized and use retinol. Maybe someday I can see a dermatologist for tretinoin. I can’t worry about the folds though.
It's amazing what a great skincare did to improve my overall skin appearance before I decided on in-office treatments.. When you deicide to try Retin-A you might consider an online derm service like AGENCY. Wishing you a skintastic day. 💕💜
Sooo interesting, Cindy! Really helpful video and reinforcing the importance of finding a dermatologist who really understands what you want to achieve. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. Have a great Sunday!
Thanks for all your support. I really appreciate the TN tips and & you watching today. it was quite the journey! Your video about your nose surgery inspired me as well. Thank you for all your wonderful content and sharing your pro-aging journey.
Just stumbled across this video and I love it!! You look so good - your hair & skin are fabulous. I also love your website and how easy it is to navigate. Look forward to sharing the rest of your journey 🙂
Yes! I love Sculptra since your own body makes the collagen. There is some research pending about taking oral silica (precursor to Collagen production) when you have the Sculptra. It really gave me some nice volume-I may go for one more round. Best part is that it is lasts-doesn’t need yo be re-done like filler.❤❤
Hello, and thank you for your cautionary message.💜 Under eye / tear trough filler (and filler in general) is being hotly debated by Cosmetic Dermatologists who for years were proponents for filler and now are reversing their opinions. They (especially plastic surgeons) are seeing increasing cases where over-use of filler is causing detrimental effects. I am planning an update to this video to address this topic. I am very appreciative that my provider (s) have only placed a very small amounts in strategic areas. This is where you need to trust your provider! I am very appreciative when doing my under eye rejuvenation my provider combined the treatment with PRF (platelet rich fibrin) and a few dissolvable smooth threads as opposed to over filling the area.
I appreciate you watching this video. I know not everyone is into, or has the opportunity to take the in-office treatment route. I felt it was the right decision for me & I’m loving the results. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Wishing you a wonderful day💕.
Have you tried it? If so I’d love to hear your thoughts, experiences. From what I’ve read it provides a soft, long term result, but isn’t dissolvable & works more like dissolvable sutures. Interestingly my dermatologists haven’t suggested it for my skincare concerns. Perhaps in needs more “heavy lifting” 😂. Thanks for commenting and for being part of the B50S community💜
@@beyond50skinSculptra has been out for about 20 years, so it has quite a bit of historical success. It is in my treatment plan next. Check out Dominique Sasche’s results with it for a good example. It’s so natural because it’s not really filler at all. It’s quite remarkable.
Hi Maria, thank you for your question. First the CO2 laser treatment definitely helped. (See my B/A in that video). Also good hydrating skincare is a must. But I think all the small amounts of filler strategically placed in other areas of the face softened my whole look. The SmoothGlo treatments are also making a subtle change. The problem with nasal labial fold filler is it makes nasal label folds protrude (looking odd as most faces at any age typically have folds there) when they are filled they catch light & you see the bumps. It wasn’t subtle. Lol!
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing your journey. I started tretinoin and hyperpigmentation skincare treatments about 3 months ago using the Agency at-home program. Agency has you upload a series of facial pictures, and a cosmetic physician prescribes treatment protocols for you. It’s very personalized, and I’ve been slowly ramping up the strength of my retin-A and hydroquinone. I’ve had no problems whatsoever. I’m 64, and I seriously need a facelift due to sagging and volume loss, but my budget won’t allow. Thank you for sharing alternative treatments and modalities! Hopefully I can take baby steps and address some concerns now, before I can save for a facelift. Cheers, Patti
Hi Patti, Thank you so much for sharing your skin care journey! I love Agency. I currently use their sister Co. Curology for my Vit C formula. I’m considering switching to Agency when my compounded prescription formulas from my Dermatologist are finished. I need to compare prices and ingredients. The accessibility of the online format makes great Rx skincare available so much more easily. Keep the group posted on your skin care rejuvenation journey. I’m so excited that you’ve joined the beyond50skin community 🙌💜
Such a fantastic presentation!I learned so much thank you !I love Botox and Gua sha .I started retinol on my neck with the gua sha and I was shocked how much it helps if consistent.I started The Ordinary skin care and omg so reasonable. My routine so economical.Thank you for your honesty, you answered so many questions I had.Try the retinol on you neck and chest!
Hi Monique, thank you for sharing your tips for gorgeous skin. I too have started slowly introducing retinol in the neck area along with the in office IPL and Fraxel treatments. I will see if my chest area can tolerate it next!! I am using HQ at present and I know they work well together if one can tolerate. I appreciate you kind and helpful comments. Wishing you a very lovely day. 💜
I just stumbled upon ur channel. Ur video is so pleasantly informative. If it wasn’t the wee hrs of the morn, I’d binge watch :) I’d also like to view Claudia laser & Tamara’s Botox video since I’m researching Botox. Love this video!!!
Thanks! Glad you found me 💜. Claudia and Tamara have made excellent videos on their cosmetic treatment journeys definitely watch them & say hello from me. They are wonderful classy ladies.
Thank you! I enjoyed this and it was so informative. I’ve just had my 2nd of 3 (package) Morpheus8 treatment. I will be having IPL and Botox when I heal up from my 3rd M8 treatment. I will want to do something for maintenance. They recommend a M8 yearly for maintenance. I am having mine done by an experienced aesthetician in my doctor’s office, ie good anesthesia by the Dr so no pain. Idk how people can do M8 with only pain gel for anesthesia!😳😳😳 I’ve had fillers 10-11 years ago (no more but the most judicious use of filler will I do any more) and did Botox/ Dysport and had the Pearl Fractional laser in my late 40’s and began using retin A/Tretinoin in my early to mid 40’s (I’m now 63). I kind of fell off of the Tretinoin train about 6-7 years ago because my post menopausal skin rebelled against it after all those years(!) of using it. I’ve tried it off and on since and my skin has become so sensitive and similar to yours have the redness which my Dermatologist calls rosacea (caused by sensitivity). She tells me to use the sandwich method and that hasn’t really helped. A few weeks before my first M8 (which is micro-needling w/ RF in case you didn’t know) one should discontinue “actives” for several weeks but about a week before I stopped the Tretinoin I did the sandwich method and I also mixed the Tretinoin with my Cereve nighttime moisturizer before applying and that seemed to not inflame my skin quite as much. I had the not so unexpected mild flaking rather than peeling like a snake. I however still was a bit red. When I’m through with M8 I think I’ll use less still and mix more moisturizer. I will have to ease back into it. Sorry this was so long ! Yikes! PS I’ve never heard about filler in the earlobes before! That is BRILLIANT! I’ve been distressed about my droopy and deflated earlobes for several years-seemed to have happened overnight!
Wow it sounds like you are on an amazing treatment journey 🙌. I am agreed with you on the filler best not to over do it to prevent a puffed or heavy look to the face. Thanks for all your info on the M8. So much talk these days about it diminishing facial fat but sounds like that isn't your experience at all. Thank you for sharing (long messages are welcome) because I know your experience will help others in the group with their inoffice procedure journey decisions. Keep the group upedate on your M8 once you're done with your series. Congratulations on your skincare journey!! 💜 Cindy
Happy Sunday! Just making coffee & headed to enjoy your video too. I’m just over the Scorpio date into Sagittarius but I’ll be your sister any day! 💜👯♀️
Thank you for your lovely compliment. I had Restylane Lyft filler along the jawline / not a permanent filler (my mistake) It's a thicker filler for more definition. My dermatologist described it as "more structural" I misunderstood that to mean it wouldn't break down as easily. However I spoke with her since then and now I understand that Restylane Lyft is not a permanent filler, just thicker. Again my apologies for mis-speaking. I wish TH-cam allowed a way to make corrections!! 😕 My jowls are not several years later starting to droop again. However I am glad I didnt do permanent filler. I dont plan to get more as I dont want to add too much and get a squared off lower jawline. I am considering a more permaent solution. Which I will be discussing later in the year. Cheers, Cindy
Hi Cindy, first I want to say you look phenomenal. I’m so sad because Ive always took great care of my skin. I’m 55. I’ve done Botox for the last 16 years and all of sudden last year it stopped working on me. I believe I’ve developed antibodies to it. I’m getting wrinkles now and not happy. I talked to a plastic surgeons office and they’re going to do a Co2 laser on me in another 4,weeks. She said that would help with some of the wrinkles I’m now getting in my 11’s. I was also using retin A but haven’t lately. By the way I’ve done tons of threads through out the years. and threw tons of money away through out the years. It’s a waste of time. lasts a few weeks after spending $2000 a pop! 😮
Hi Beth, that is so kind. Wow, that sounds incredibly frustrating about the Botox. I had longer benefits from the threads but won’t do them again. Agreed, not worth the money or discomfort. Good luck on your CO2. I know the group would love to hear how it goes….so keep up posted. And feel free to reach out if you need some support those first few days are rough :) 💜
Thank you! I will! I heard of this procedure called thermirase. It sounds a little invasive but I don’t care. It’s a current that temporarily destroys the nerves between the brows and in the forehead like Botox works. I’m going to see a dr that does it after the Co2 laser. The only problem is you can’t do it around your eyes or bunny lines.
Your video was great! I'm saddened that you mentioned that your threadlift hurt really bad. We do these in clinic all the time and you should not have any real discomfort to speak of. Threads cover a plethora of issues, and they actually should be incorporated into a skin rejuvenation journey. When placed strategically and with particular threads (double twisted), they can provide volume and tightening without giving one that "pillow face" that many patients get from demanding filler too often. You are correct in stating that fillers last much longer than what was use to be thought. Threads can also help with post acneic scarring or general scaring as well. We completely numb our patients with Lidocaine/epi injections, so no pain when doing barbed threadlifts. Fillers, when placed in the proper places, can provide a bit of lifting of the cheek thus this helps diminish the look of our nasolabial folds. A place where many folks forget to address is the temporal area. As we age, we get bone loss as well as fat depletion, so the temples must be treated. We use Sculptra, a bio stimulator, and this provides a lovely, natural look. You are correct in saying we must look at the entire face, neck, and decolletage. Another helpful tip in your skin rejuvenation journey, placing Botox near the DAO(Depressor Anguli Oris, can lift the muscles near the lower lip and actually help with the pulling downward of the lower face. Another tip, treatment of the platysmal bands are a must if one is past 40 yrs of age, the muscles in our neck, over time with contraction, start to actually pull down on our lower face. Hope this helps a bit!
Sorry for the delayed in replying. Thank you for watching and leaving such a wonderful detailed comment. I truly appreciate it. The fact that so few of your clients experience pain/discomfort with threads is very encouraging for those who want to try them. I guess it comes down to one's individual experience. One side was completely painless just felt "funny" ... I could sort of feel them for three weeks. The other side was achy for about the same time. I was definitely impressed with the volume though & NO pillowface lol. So cool to know threads help with acne and general scaring!! I have loved all my filler experiences except NLF. Agreed that small amounts in strategic locations gives a subtle lift. I didn't notice a big change with temple filler but I wonder if it just gave such a soft subtle affect that it was hard for me to tell 🤔. I may notice it more as it dissipates. Everyone keeps recommending Sculptra. I was hesitant when I read about it because I had so much volume loss I wasn't sure it would be a good enough bang for my buck. Perhaps as a maintenance treatment it would be just perfect? I have tried but not kept up platysmal botox. I may have to give that another go & will mention the anuli oris toxin placement next visit :) Thank you SOOOOOO much for all your tips. Your comments and suggestions are going to be amazingly helpful to the group. I appreciate you taking the time to give us your top tips!! 💜
@@beyond50skin Thank you for your reply. I wanted to add that your beautiful white hair and nice facial angles of your face....drew me to watch your video! I'm an advanced medical aesthetician and faces, to me, are like a canvases, and I love helping others reach their facial aesthetic goals and to guide them to a healthy and proper skincare journey. So many clients, initially, feel that skincare and treatments are a "one and done" scenario 😳. I have to basically reprogram their mindset regarding our journey with skincare and optimal health! Regarding Sculptra, we do this in clinic too! It's absolutely one of my favorite bio stimulators.. This and even Radiesse, are classified as bio Stimulators because like all the different threads(pdo, plla, pcl).....Radiesse and Sculptra work with your own body’s response. That being said, you may want to delve into the "bio stimulator route" because like you, I have a petite face and have a difficult time hanging onto fat. Yes, bio stimulators are a bit pricey but in the long run, you are actually saving because they do not get reabsorbed like Hyaluronic acid fillers. Yes, again, you should NOT be in pain with threads. I had a client that was mortified of them because of her past experience like you. Once I treated her, she then learned that the previous practitioner, did not provide proper lido/epi injections to assure a pleasant experience with threads. Again, you caught my attention , initially, aesthetically, because of your stunning features. If there is anything I can answer for you or your followers, I'd be delighted to answer. Finally, keep up the fantastic work!

IInter3esting journey! Thanks for sharing. I am considering having a co2 laser treatment and must admit the research is really 50/50 as to its effectiveness in wrinkle reduction. Anyways...what struck me was your admittance late in the video that you had scaring from this procedure - so much so that you needed to "repair" aspects of the treatment. Can you please explain this? I am in Australia and due to go to LA and then Mexico where I am contemplating having the laser treatment, so I find this all r3eally interesting. Thanks
Thanks for watching. I appreciate that you’re doing your homework on this procedure. I filmed a comprehensive video sharing my entire post ablative laser healing process. about 2:15 I see a before photo. would you say your skin (and your whole self) is more healthy now or just looks better? you look amazingly better. (i already watched the whole video and watching again). 😊 the updates to your neck are amazing. i hate for my vanity to take over but it might. if it makes everyday better than why not. if I was just busy working outside and exercising and fasting when not in full keto i hopefully wouldnt care about my face. My main goal is to keep my mobility and productivity until the day I die. I am determined to keep my muscles and flexibility. What kind of diet and exercise do you do? Your transformation is amazing. I guess I could do all of both!!!
Good morning ☕️ dear Claudia. Thank you for your sweet comment. There is so much magical thinking around these procedures or inflated fear mongering. I think it’s important to bring a realistic, balanced and honest perspective…. Of course why I love your channel too 💜
I’m disturbed about this super expensive never ending treadmill that more and more women of all ages are hopping on to keep from looking like they’re aging. I’m currently reading a book by Justine Bateman called “Face: One Square Foot of Skin”. I wish more women realized the pressure that our culture is forcing upon us not to look like we’re aging at all (even though we all are). I’m 72 and going to 50 year college reunions. I’m surprised at what I see. Very few women’s faces have any wrinkles at all, and hardly any gray hair. The men all looked age appropriate. Hmmmmm.
I completely respect your honesty and perspective. Thank you for sharing and commenting. I welcome a balanced and open discussion on this issue and appreciate you taking the time to comment 💜
I’ve seen Justine promoting her book and I’m just going to be honest: she is aging so horribly that she actually sent the opposite message to me than what she intended. Each individual should age however they want, but let’s not pretend that she doesn’t look a good 20 years older than she is. Not every woman is ok with that and shouldn’t be judged for it.
Thank you for sharing! I had picosure laser in 2012 to remove my abundance of facial freckles and it was the best thing I’d ever done for my skin. I’ve had it twice since then for spots that have arisen. I’ve also had some Botox and small amounts of filler over the past 2 years. I’d like to begin an anti aging facial regimen but it’s so expensive to maintain:( can you recommend the best bang for the buck with facials and regular skincare? Thanks!!
Hi, Thank you for sharing your picosure laser experience. I am so excited for you about your outcome! It's great to hear about other types of lasers because it's definitely not one size fits all. Sure I can recommend some budget skincare. It can get expensive fast. Are you looking for at home facial products or what to look for at an aestheticians for a facial treatment? If you want at home recommendations can I know a bit more about your skin type, concerns and what you're currently using? Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. 💜
@@beyond50skin thank you! For several years, I’ve used cerave products at the advice of a dermatologist: cerave night cream (small purple tub) on my face every night and also under my eyes each day. I use cerave moisturizer each morning on my face. I use cerave face wash every evening in the shower. Ive recently started micro needling at home once weekly and applying cerave vitamin C serum. I use aveeno face exfoliator once weekly in the shower, but I haven’t been impressed with this product, unfortunately. Last week, I began using neutrogena’s retinol serum 3 X weekly. My close friends get facials with an esthetician regularly, but that’s not in my budget:( I’ve been learning about the different acid facials but I’m not knowledgeable enough yet to go that route on my own. I have fair skin, which is somewhat sensitive- esp to fragrances and parabens. My 55th bday will be in just a few weeks and the fine lines and wrinkles are showing up much quicker now! I’d love to combat them!!! Thank you for your help!

Thank you for sharing what you have gone through. I also like a more natural look. You can see how far you've come with the before and after photos but it looks completely natural. What is the name of the new practice you mention at the beginning of your video that had a cosmetic dermatologist? Is this in NYC as well?
Hi Michelle, Thank you for your lovely comment. It was definitely fearful of looking "odd" when I started this journey...FOR SURE! In the right hands I was shocked to find these treatments can look so natural. I am currently with IDRISS DERMATOLOGY, NY. The original practice I spoke about was in SF (UCSF Dermatology / Dr Drew Saylor). Wishing you a wonder day.
Thank you so much for this Cindy 🌙🌾😊 Money indeed 😬! The RN at the office I went to talked me out of bbl & instead to try hydroquinone. I was kind of bummed but I get it. Who did you use in Bay Area for your treatments? You mentioned ucsf I think.
Hi Olina, how is the HQ going? Keep us posted on your journey. I went to UCSF Dermatologic Surgery and Laser Center as well as their offices in Oakland when I lived there. My primary dermatologist in Oakland was Dr Saylor & in SF Dr Grekin & Dr Neuhad. Thanks for watching and wishing you a wonderful day 💜

Sunscreen and sunglasses are 0.K. in a vehicles or a building with the windows up and the airconditioning on but by themselves no sunscreen or sunglasses block out all of the suns' rays.
🖐Ohhhh great question! I haven’t done any in office treatments but here’s my AM (non) routine lol … any facial serum I’m using goes on my hand and 50 spf daily/ also reapply before driving. PM - 1. rotating HQ (per my face / décolleté routine) 2. Tretinoin.05% (what ever is on my hand after applying to face) 3. DRMTLGY lactic body lotion has been a game changer! I also have Trader Joe’s hand and body at every sink and by everyone’s bed stand (humidity here is soooo low! Dry dry dry) hope this helps 💜💜💜. What are you doing to keep your hands youthful ? I’ve hear profillo is an option but not there yet 😉
Hi Rhonda, the change in NLF is a combination of: CO2 laser, small filler in the NLF (which protruded too much for months but dissipated thank goodness - my dermatologist who did this was not a cosmetic derm - it’s not typically recommended in the NLF) a touch of filler along the cheek & jaw lines (posterior triangle by the mandible gives very subtle appearance of lift) and yes the threads contributed to a softening of the NLF, not because they “lifted”, but because they gave my face a fuller appearance by slowing building collagen (I’m presuming). Sorry this was such a long winded answer 🤪 to your question but I don’t want to give the impression that one particular treatment was the solution. It was man small subtle changes that softened & filled out my mid face. Hope this helps. Wishing you a very happy day 💜
All I can say is that all those procedures have to be constantly maintained at a rate of every 2-3 months. Many offices will say that they will last a year, but I’m here to tell you that’s bull crap! Dishing out 800 dollars every 3 months is too much for me. Also, the fillers will only stretch your already non elastic skin further causing more wrinkles when the fillers wears off. I had Botox on my chin and I find my chin contracts like a Charlie horse when ever I wipe the area 😞. I believe if you want a permanent look, a face lift is the only way to go and in the long run most cost effective. The surgeon must specialize in face lifts and do them more than 7 x a week. This is my experience…
Thank you for your comment and contributing to this discussion. This is a nuanced decision and multi-factorial as aging includes emotional and physical health choices as well. Everyone's journey will be unique. Your point is very well taken. A face lift is possibly the more cost effective route in the long run and achieves a more permanent look. To be honest the abrupt a change in facial appearance from a surgical intervention would have been too much for me at one time. Also when I started my journey seven years ago I was recovering from a complicated/unrelated medically necessary surgery. I was not in a financial nor emotional place to undergo facial plastic surgery. I was just looking for a subtle change (a pick-me-up). Taking the much longer road to accomplish my goals was more financially and emotionally the right choice for me. I am sorry about your experience with botox. That sounds very uncomfortable. I will, as you point out, have to keep up in-office treatments over the years as they do "wear off" at varying times and certainly do not stop the aging process. I'm not completely ruling out plastic surgery, but I'm still definitely not ready. Per my research the cost for an excellent surgeon who specializes and performs surgeries daily is ~100K to 120K in the US. I've often found they want to include laser and other in-office treatments as well because surgery does not improve pigmentation, texture, nor fully address all volume loss which all contribute to facial aging. I wish each and every one happiness no matter their approach to their pro-aging journey.
People seem to have this assumption that a facelift is a replacement for nearly all non surgical rejuvenation treatments and that’s simply not true. A facelift does not even out the skin tone like ablative/non-ablative lasers do, it does not stimulate collagen like lasers, tretinoin, and Sculptra do (spf to protect the collagen you have) etc. It does not relax the wrinkles in the forehead or crows feet. It does not volumes the cheeks/temples unless fat grafting is included in the face lift. What it can replace is Ultherapy/thermage, threads because it addresses sagging. There are multiple components to an aging face: skin tone/texture, sag and volume loss. You don’t hit one boiler point and think it hits all 3. This is akin to people thinking they can spend all their money on Botox/fillers and they don’t quite look as young as those that use lasers/proper skincare as well. Botox doesn’t address sun spots etc.
I'm a 60 year old man with fair skin and lots of sun damage and brown spots, pre cancers and scars from acne and getting pre cancers frozen off at the veterans hospital. They don't care and won't treat you for cosmetics at the veterans hospital. I had two Fraxel Repair laser treatments at the VA but I realize that I need a ablative laser treatment "one and done" like you. How much did your ablative laser treatment cost when you had it done? Does the ablative laser help the acne scars? My doctor told me I look 70.
Hi Thanks for sharing your journey. Apologies for my delayed response. I'm not a dermatologist of course. However, ablative lasers are designed to resurface the skin... I can't see why you wouldn't get a nice improvement. Acne scars (esp box car scaring) seem to be the biggest challenge. I think the deeper box care scaring requires treatment in addition to laser, but as I say I'm no expert and don't have any experience with acne scars. I had multiple Fraxel treatments for surgical scar which have improved, but not eliminated it. As far as cost I went to UCSF Dermatology in CA and the cost was 4,500. But more importantly you need to find a highly experience provider. I did that and my healing was still arduous with complications. I did a video on my year long recovery experience. th-cam.com/video/Oly4enDeSIw/w-d-xo.html Happy to answer any additional questions I can. Good luck on your journey and if you feel comfortable sharing keep the group updated on how things go Best Wishes💜

Hi Tatiana, unfortunately I’m not qualified to answer if X-rays during orthodontic treatments effect collagen and elastin in the skin. It is an interesting question. If I see any reliable studies relating to this topic I will try to remember to mention it. All the best to you. 😊

*⚠ TWO corrections*
1. I mis-spoke. CO2 & ER Yag Ablative lasers are distinct. I had Ablative ER Yag Ablative laser, NOT CO2 Ablative laser.
2. I had Restylane Lyft filler along my jawline, not a "permanent" filler. RL is a thicker filler used to add definition. My dermatologist described it as "more structural". I misunderstood that to mean it was permanent. Actually RL can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase.

Hi Mindy, welcome to the beyond50skin community. I’m so excited you’re here joining us. Definitely let us know what you’re doing for your skin rejuvenation journey & some of your favorite skincare products. it’s always fun to share what people are using. 💜
Hi Kristi, I just LOVE your bold pro-aging attitude 🙌💃🏼.
@@mile_851 oh my gosh couldnt agree more!!
Do consider India for affordable treatments. I am not from India.
Thank you! I agree 100%
I appreciate your kind comment. I am on a journey to look like me just a bit more refreshed. Happy Monday 💜
This was wonderful. The change is dramatic. I can see why you're pleased.
Hi Katherine,
Can you believe they told us spf 15 was all we needed!
Aww, so glad you’re taking such great care of your skin 🙌. Dr Idriss is awesome! Thanks for watching & commenting. 💕💜💕
Yes I’m 38, been doing skin care since 30 and it’s great to do. Everyone always ask me and I’m like, do your research
So true. You have to do A LOT of research and learn about your skin. Everyone skin is unique. I’m so impressed you got your skincare game on at 30 👍💜
Thank you for your honesty!
She had a face lift. Her eyes are pulled.
Hi Phoenix, thank you for your lovely compliment. It definitely was my goal to look my best makeup free. Wishing you a happy Sunday 💜
True. I’ve also seen one that looks way older with makeup. I’ve always done only concealer and eyeliner so I don’t even know how to give constructive criticism. In my 50’s now so here to learn about makeup and start skin care routine.

@@Somebodysomewheresometime I definitely didn’t realize the importance of addressing the neck, décolletage and hands when i started my skincare rejuvenation journey at 50
I’m fascinated by your experience, along with others, who are reporting Botox in their 30’s prevented /softened the appearance & formation of static
lines as they approach their 🎉50’s.
You remind me of beautiful Jamie Lee Curtis and i love your honesty ❤ you look amazing
Aww how sweet of you to say. Jamie Lee is an iconic beauty. I actually did a makeup look-a-like video of her Golden Globe look. Thanks for watching and wishing you a wonderful weekend 💕💜
57 is still young. You have yet to hit the full bone loss journey. It doesn't matter what you use topically.
LOL😁
I will admit when I do the double cleansing in the evening and I wake up with really good skin and I’m just staying at home working from home.

Happy Valentines Day 💕
Hi dear ladies, azelaic acid helped me with PD, I got rid of it completely...
You’ve made such a huge improvement in your skin- really amazing and inspirational. Thank you for your honesty.
Thank you for your lovely comment. It’s been a long journey and I’m so glad to be able to share my story so that others have an idea of the various treatments available, their benefits, risks & limitations.
And you’ve seen the before, and afters
I wonder if people are a shy about commenting on appearance? Of course, my husband and my son knew because I was going through the healing process at home. Or maybe they just didn’t like the way it worked 😂😂😂
In the end, I I’ve done all the treatments I’ve done just for me, my self & I …. My dad actually commented that he thought I had a lip filler… which I’ve never done, only the laser over the top… at least you notice something lol … so funny what people’s impressions are. I really enjoy hearing your story I’m 50 soon to be 51 and next week Oct 17th I’ll be getting my co2 fully ablative laser done on my entire face!
Excited to hear how it goes! I wish I’d known to ask my provider to do my brow as well. Keep the B50S group updated on your progress:)

Definately décolletage added to any facial rejuvenation 👍🏼
And a teeny bit more filler in the temples…? Such a beautiful jawline and cheeks… a bit more temple filler and there’ll be more balance. ..?
I’ve added to my temples and love the results. Got rid of the ‘pear’ look that was starting
Your skin looks BEAUTIFUL!!!
So glowy and smooth.
Thank you SO MUCH for this clear

Ty!

This video was phenomenal and well executed. Thank you so much for documenting this

Thanks so much for sharing this Cindy. You look so fabulous! Really appreciate your honesty and helpful information. 🙏🏻💛
I’m so glad you found this helpful! That is my intention. Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment💜
Filler really isn’t recommended under the eye area bc of the complication associated.
In general you may want to look into Sculptra.
Gosh you look fabulous! Came here from the comment you left on that dermatologist channel. I subscribed!
Welcome! Thank you for your kind comment. So happy to have you as a member of the B50S community. 💕💜💕
You look fabulous! I was thinking about exploring threading so I’m glad you shared your experience.

Such an informative video. You look absolutely stunning! Thank you! ❤️🙏😘
I appreciate you watching this video. I know not everyone is into, or has the opportunity to take the in-office treatment route. I felt it was the right decision for me & I’m loving the results. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Wishing you a wonderful day💕.
Look into Sculptra. You can rejuvenate your own Collagen. It lasts much longer than hyaluronic acid fillers and is less expensive.
@@klinton9662 will check out Dominique’s results for sure. Thanks!
Since you didn’t like the filler for nasolabial folds, what are you doing to smooth them?
Hi Maria, thank you for your question. First the CO2 laser treatment definitely helped. (See my B/A in that video). Also good hydrating skincare is a must. But I think all the small amounts of filler strategically placed in other areas of the face softened my whole look. The SmoothGlo treatments are also making a subtle change. The problem with nasal labial fold filler is it makes nasal label folds protrude (looking odd as most faces at any age typically have folds there) when they are filled they catch light & you see the bumps. It wasn’t subtle. Lol!
So helpful hearing about your experience before I make my decisions, thank you!
Hi Kelly, I’m so glad you found this helpful. Hope you are having wonderful day 💜
Hi Patti,
Thank you so much for sharing your skin care journey!

I'd love to know what sort of difference you're seeing in your neck with the retinol and gua sha, Monique?
Idk how people can do M8 with only pain gel for anesthesia!😳😳😳
I’ve had fillers 10-11 years ago (no more but the most judicious use of filler will I do any more) and did Botox/ Dysport and had the Pearl Fractional laser in my late 40’s and began using retin A/Tretinoin in my early to mid 40’s (I’m now 63).
💜 Cindy
We share Birthday months my Scorpio Silver Sister! ❤️
And thank you for sharing your super interesting journey!
Happy Sunday! Just making coffee & headed to enjoy your video too. I’m just over the Scorpio date into Sagittarius but I’ll be your sister any day! 💜👯♀️
My jowls are the most bothersome to me. You mentioned a permanent filler in your jaw line and I’m wondering what it was? And you look amazing btw!
My jowls are not several years later starting to droop again.
@@bethgleicher2362 definitely keep us posted on the Thermirase. Sounds interesting!💜

You look awesome 👌 👏 👍🏾. Great content and video

Hi that is such a nice compliment. They’re due for a tint & trim 😂💜
@@beyond50skin thank you! For several years, I’ve used cerave products at the advice of a dermatologist: cerave night cream (small purple tub) on my face every night and also under my eyes each day. I use cerave moisturizer each morning on my face. I use cerave face wash every evening in the shower. Ive recently started micro needling at home once weekly and applying cerave vitamin C serum. I use aveeno face exfoliator once weekly in the shower, but I haven’t been impressed with this

No other work done,,? Hmm,,,? I think that you've had more than you are telling us! You do look better than you did before, that is for sure. Keep up the great work and keep enjoying what you do and smiling! Thanks!
Watching your videos,, yes, laser resurfacing Botox,, fillers,, yes I can see now you look much better!
If course, blood platelet injections- that makes a huge difference as well!
Oh my goodness PDO threads as well- of course that makes a huge difference,, that's like a facelift!!
@@jenniferRainwater Absolutely untrue. Everything I’ve done I include in this video, everything. I may in time have more work done but no surgery to date.
@@jenniferRainwater They were a mistake, very uncomfortable and didn’t last.
Your skin and teeth look great.
Thank you for you lovely comment.
Thanks for watching and wishing you a wonderful day 💜
YOU LOOK GREAT! I am 62 and just did WOW yesterday, ablative laser.....but called a WOW procedure....fingers crossed!
Thank you, So excited to hear how your WOW results turn out! If you don't mind keeping the group posted I know folks will be interested in your experience with this new Sciton laser 3 in 1 treatment 😊
You look amazing! Great job!
Thank you Tiffany. That is very kind.
Sunscreen and sunglasses are 0.K. in a vehicles or a building with the windows up and the airconditioning on but by themselves no sunscreen or sunglasses block out all of the suns' rays.
Thank you for sharing🎉. You look so beautiful ❤
Thank you for watching and for you sweet comment. That made my day 💕💜💕Wishing you a lovely day.

Yes me too. So much valuable info packed into a short space of time. No waffle. Just the facts. Loved it.

Any suggestions for hands?
If threads didn’t give you lift in your nasal folds, then what did? They definitely look better than before.
Wishing you a very happy day 💜
You went to Dr. Idriss?!!!! That is fantastic!!!! So fun!
Yes, she is amazing!! Definitely a wonderful opportunity. Thanks for watching 💕💜💕
I did a video on my year long recovery experience. th-cam.com/video/Oly4enDeSIw/w-d-xo.html
Happy to answer any additional questions I can.
Good luck on your journey and if you feel comfortable sharing keep the group updated on how things go Best Wishes💜
@@beyond50skin thank you for the reply. So 4 years ago $4.5k. I thought it would be so much more expensive. I might try Mount Sinai here in New York City. Play imagine they'll charge at least 10k. I was thinking about trying some smaller state where it might be cheaper. I thought you were in Florida.
Quiero hacer mis dientes, pero estoy un poco preocupado por la radiación de la ortopantografía y sus efectos en la piel. Por casualidad sabes si la radiación de los rayos X afecta al colágeno y la elastina de la piel??? Thanks!
Hi Tatiana, unfortunately I’m not qualified to answer if X-rays during orthodontic treatments effect collagen and elastin in the skin. It is an interesting question. If I see any reliable studies relating to this topic I will try to remember to mention it. All the best to you. 😊
@@beyond50skin thank you so much, you are very kind! ❤
