A timely reminder that having a capsule really practical accessories absolutely makes an outfit. Like you I’m a scarfaholic Maria. I really need to focus a bit more on having a pop of colour in my shoes and handbags.❤
Fellow scarf addict here. I inherited some from Granny, Grandma and Mum, and then developed a habit all of my own! It's a great way for me to liven up petite basics on a limited budget.
I love coloured shoes and bags Elaine but it’s about your personal style too so maybe that’s why you tend to go for more neutrals 👍

Such great timing for me! I’m retiring at the end of May. I know I will miss putting outfits together for work, but looking forward to a more casual lifestyle.

Though not on topic, I just HAVE to ask: several times now, I have seen this candlestick in the background, and it looks just like some glasses I bought many years (as in: 25 or so) in the Bavarian Forest. Did you travel there too? As a German (living in the US), I am just curious.

Thank you 😊 the candlestick was a gift from my mum which she bought locally but that doesn’t mean it was made in the UK. Having said that though I have driven through Germany many times because my father was Polish and we used to go every year on holiday. I have lots of Polish crystal that was collected over the years 😊
