    Exactly what I was looking for. A digital training series manual.
    The instructor reminds me of my old boss from Michigan. A crotchety wise type of gent. Well spoken and to the point.

    I got my socom 16 a few months ago and finally got out to the range to shoot it. Love it. Your videos were a great help in taking it down, cleaning it, and reassembly. Once you've done it, the next time will be a snap. Thanks again

    Great video series. I run my M1As a bit "wetter" than what is shown here. It's just a personal preference.

    Brownells, Inc. - thanks for a great series of videos; they are very helpful. Concerning care and cleaning of the barrel, how often do you recommend additional steps for removing built-up copper fouling and deposition in the lands-and-grooves of the barrel, as opposed to simply cleaning to remove fouling from carbon, soot, and other combustion by-products? If a specific procedure is recommended, please outline the steps. Lastly, what product (s) do you recommend for removal of copper? I have the solution Hoppes makes for this purpose; do I need any others? Thanks again....

      @@brownells I came across to your video today and I enjoyed it very much it was very helpful. I am a new owner of M1A Scout Squad and I have come across couple of videos about glass bedding the M1A, is this necessary to all M1A's? how do I know if my rifle needs to be glass bedded?

    I wonder how hard this is with a scope mount and scope on or will I have to take it all off I also have the arcangle precision stock so it's a really tight fit

    Great videos. As long as the gun is kept for the most part clean, do you think lubrication is required after firing the gun a few times a year or would once a year work?

    • @brownells
      @brownells  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The best schedule is to grease and oil after every time you bring the gun back from shooting. :)

    It is rather interesting that the “… and M14” is included with this. Anyone who has an M14 M14 is likely to have a rather large investment in their knowledge of respective firearms they own.
    But that they are covering the bases by adding “Oh! And in case you own an M14, but don’t know how it works….”

      I agree. I can clean 20 AR15's in the amount of time it takes me to get the operating rod off my M1A. However that is one bad mother to shoot. I was hitting milk jugs at 230 yards with open sights right out of the box. I love my M1A.
