Never saw a KFC that huge...here in my area of Pennsylvania, all I ever saw was the small buildings with the drive thru or walk in to order..never any seating...that one was awesome...also...thanks for not sharing the bathrooms too!!
Great video as always, Noah! It blows me away that there are thousands of dollars in restaurant equipment sitting in the middle of a city, in an unlocked building, and no one has messed with or stolen any of it! Amazing. 😳😳 Thx 4 the great vid! Now I want some KFC😀😀. Steve.
Well I'm a *90's kid* and I can honestly say I remember restaurants looking like this. I don't remember that commercial but I'm pretty positive I probably have seen it in the past.
Awesome use of a vintage 90s KFC Commercial. I also loved the music you used for the intro. I remember KFCs looking like this when i was a kid. Memories. Another great explore Noah
I worked at one just like this from 05-08 while i was in highschool. If you cook that chicken properly following the guidelines its next to none. KFC gets a bad rap but its all due to poor management not following up on procedures.
Such a cool building. Love it. If they are going to demolish the building. Can you see about contacting someone to get the electric power meter once the power is cut off? Id love to have the meter. Love those old white fiberglas booths with the padded backs. Look identical to the ones in an abandoned burger king that i got a meter from back in 2006. That bk was built in 1984 so i bet this kfc was as well. That Amana commercial microwave is worth about $500 if it still works. I also repair thosse microwaves. Brand new they are about $1000 to 1200. The bathrooms have the same identical tile as the bk, but the brown tiles are up towards the ceiling, anf there are about 3 roles of brown tile across. Love thst ice cream machine. I think its a soft serve yogart machine. Great video. See if you can get me the Hydro meter. I say hydro just incase you are in Canada.
I see the compressor for the walk in fridge in the back storage room. That timer you heard running is the defrost timer. The compressor is a Copelamatic semi hermatic water cooleed compressor worth big bucks. I do commercial refrigeraton and hvac.
That piece of equipment you see at the 20 minute mark that you called a fryer. Its a Broaster. A broaster is a high pressure vessel that is used to cook the chicken. Broasted chicken is tge best i think. So moist and juicy.
@@UncappedFilms nope! I don’t know if I saw any actual fryers in there but definitely a small steam kettle in the back area. Poor place. Sad to see it go.
Great video Noah! Can’t believe so much equipment was left behind when it could have been repurposed. It was good to look behind the scenes with you,and thank you for not showing us the gross toilet,I had never heard of the phrase “double decker” so being nosy I googled it-omg people can be so gross 🤮🤮but thanks for the laugh🤣🤣looking forward to your next explore 😊👍🏻
Colonel Sanders is not very impressed with this one Noah, he may come to visit you in tonight's nightmare, chasing you down with a big ole giant drumstick. 😲 I sure am impressed though! 🤠👍
Very cool. Great to see one that hasn’t been updated. You’re so right. Things now are just blah. No creativity or design. Just ugly. You hardly know what restaurant you’re in! This one is so 80’s. Great memories.
So retro! 🫨 I love it, ❤️ I reckon it will all come back in fashion people will want to go back to this style in the future so it is worth keeping these places as an attraction 🧲 so tourists can view them in different places all over the world and have their photograph taken when they're on holiday 😁
Funny enough until somewhat recently there was a kfc that looked almost exactly like this in Belleville it got renovated though and it's not nearly as cool now
Anyone drinking beer and partying would not drink it in the bathroom, which I bet means the final last shift did. Also, what's an "upper deck"? Puke? A blowout before seated?
He said that this particular one was shut down because the owner of the building didn't want it leased to KFC anymore. KFC chain itself is still very much in business.
I know where this is or maybe was if its still there. Yuck, dont like it. I ate here once, never again. What was so gross about the toilet? Im curious. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yep, the bigger ones always had that seating in the 90s. The chairs would be stuck and you had to swivel to get out of them.
Great video as always, Noah!

Lived my life not knowing what an upper decker was...til this video. Had to look it up 😂. Seriously though. Thanks for another good explore.
Hi Noah from West Virginia USA 🇺🇲👋 I like watching your videos 👍😎 wow , an abandoned KFC . I like the colors and designs.
OMG, that brings back memories of the 90's! Cool find Noah!
I remember those swivel chairs.

Love love love old restaurants! Great explore Noah!! 😊😊😊
Check the fridge! See if there’s any leftovers in there!
Lol. You don't want what was left behind here lol

That mint green interior is so 90's 😍
The pink and gold trim too. I remember Burger King and McDonalds also had the teal and salmon colored theme, along with the wallpaper.
day we are going into this abandoned kfc. & see if we can find what Relly happened to foghorn leghorn.
Another great video, good job
One there phones like zombies lol so true! Cool find Noah! Keep Orange Crushing It!
Turquoise and pink was such a 90s color scheme. I remember it well.
I used to love going there thanks for the video I enjoyed watching

Haha
Running is futile - he's already deep inside our hearts (and coronary arteries). 😂❤
Happy New Years Noah! ❤
i live in the area... my mom used to work at the t-bones across the road... been in there a few times exactly as i remembered

That's a big KFC. Thanks for showing us 🫶
THANK YOU
The glass display case was for salads.
We are watching from Australia 🇦🇺. Really neat find , enjoyed it ❤
The taco bell/kfc in Newmarket is pretty retro and still operating.
I wanna go back to retro fasfood places. Those were the times
Wouldn't touch KFC with a barge pole. You can cook your own KFC chooks at home via YT recipes.
Funny enough until somewhat recently there was a kfc that looked almost exactly like this in Belleville it got renovated though and it's not nearly as cool now
Been here a few times and the place accross the street was busy after a night of drinking
Well I hope and pray that you can grow the hell up and stop your nights of drinking. That s*** is overrated and childish.
I love KFC!!!!
I remember something about having to change the name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC as the chicken is no longer real chicken? Altered some how?
just drove past this yesterday
Looks like it could have been a Mcdonalds that was remodeled into a KFC at one time.
Now im curious what a upper decker is on a toliet 🤔
Where I grew up in Ohio, the nearby city had one just like that.
How in the hell do these abandoned restaurants or homes have electricity but if I don't pay I get none? 😭
This looks a lot like my local Subway--seating and all 😆
It seems to be a standard for fast food restaurants in the 90s. McDonalds and Burger King also had similar colors I remember.
The music you chose at the beginning was PERFECT 👌
How do you come across all these abandoned treasures
Anyone drinking beer and partying would not drink it in the bathroom, which I bet means the final last shift did.
Also, what's an "upper deck"? Puke? A blowout before seated?
All I'll say is google an upper decker if you wanna know but be warned, it's gross
@@NoahNowhere I didn't think of that, I'm gettin slow I guess.
Thanks Noah!

63 years old and I'm still learning new stuff every day, today's lesson was one of the harder ones.
The glass case was for salads.
@@JohnShinn1960 😅😅😅
I wish everything inside were to be auctioned off.
😊
Any idea why they went out of business?
He said that this particular one was shut down because the owner of the building didn't want it leased to KFC anymore. KFC chain itself is still very much in business.
This kinda has a taco bell vibe to it makes me wonder if that's what it was before kfc took over
Upper Decker! Lol.
Really cool. Obviously no money was put into that building - talk about retro....
@@billstill1794 The owner of the building didn't want it leased to KFC anymore. KFC still wanted to do business there but the owner put an end to it.

you must have been to the place acroos the street then
