I think all Toyotas use the same crush washer and 14mm drain bolt. The drain bolt or pan will not strip out if you use a crush washer, one arm, a short wrench, and go easy. The plug needs to be tight or it will leak. Once the crush washer starts yielding don’t try to tighten further.

Yeah you’ll be fine with any major brand out there. I even use supertech if I had to. Toyota doesn’t complain lol

Technically Kirkland oil is mostly Group 3 and not 100% Synthetic so it should be good for the 4R.

It's still a better price than super tech from Wal-Mart. From what the internet says, most of these oils are the exact same thing

Please dont use the old oil to lube the gasket. Old oil has all sorts of contaminants it it. You're changing it for a reason. Just use the new oil and have peice of mind.

If you bought that filter on eBay/Amazon it’s likely fake. There’s a half billion dollar industry selling little fake car parts like that. So if I were you I’d buy a filter at the auto parts store or Walmart. I wouldn’t trust fake crap on my engine.

@@subtegral I'm just trying to warn him. I'd rather have either of the genuine filters you listed over a fake off eBay.

I got mine from mcgeorge Toyota. Amazon is full of fakes these days but if you order from Toyota directly or amazon directly, should be good bet it’ll be authentic.
