You gotta get the Ohlins steering damper for that bike - they are unstable in heavy winds or passing big trucks without it. It transformed my Monster and now its quite safe to ride fast.
The closer you got to home, the more you could hear the joy. From a new, desired motorcycle. You have been waiting for her for a long time. Congratulations once again. It's good that you did. Everyone later regrets a lot what - they didn't do. And i'm happy too. And please keep the intro of vlogs. Is super! Good luck ! 😄#ducatinyc
Yea, the joy is real. The joy is mixed. So much joy and so much....... other stuff. All mixed up. I do this often, wait wait wait and push things off to the very edge until I either do something or something is done for me. Got lucky in this case. Regrets.... I got alot. A funny thing for someone who has a One Life No Regrets tattoo. Thank you so much for being here for me. I appreciate it.
Oh man, that Monster is sick! I will be honest, when it first came out, I was rather skeptical because of the radical design change. Well... putting that aside and realize change will happen for certain reasons and looking at the new design as sort of a new iteration of the Monster, I started to enjoy it more. Lately I've been watching a bunch of new Monster videos and hearing what others have to say about it, it makes the bike more appealing to me because they only have nice things to say about it. Now, after seeing your first impressions on it and seeing others have fun with the bike, I now want one as well. Just a couple of things I'll have to change out for myself if I do pick up one. Thank you for always responding to IG messages and giving me your thoughts on the bike thus far. Keep up the great work!
Same here. Super initial impressions I was not so sure, then I overlooked the looks because of performance gains. Then I saw the reviews and that every person loves it, with VERY few complaints And now I have ridden it and I can full say that the bike is a Monster through and through and I can not wait to adventure with it. If you're thinking about it - DO IT. I assure you you will not be dissapointed.
I recently started splitting where I live. Thinking about moving to a more urban location and I enjoy seeing your crispy splits. Poetry in motion. I had a Ducati Supersport for about 2 years and I loved the rear brake on it coupled with the torque. Made low speed stuff much easier to manage.
Supersport is a solid bike, I hope to ride one for a video one of these days. And I always say, I ride my moto like I ride my bicycle - thats why a nimble little bike is crucial for me
Spicy ride. Still so happy for you. Def ditch those ugly mirriors. I'm doing a mirror update on my bike soon as well. Will be posting the video in a couple weeks. Before careful with that low gear high rpm during the breakin period as doing that too often can't cause some issues. Speaking from my own experince.
@@ducatinyc Yeah as a Brooklyn guy I binged your vids for years before pulling the trigger myself a few years ago. Looking to upgrade my Duke to a super Duke or possibly an MT-09/Mt-10
Excellent, congrats again, it's gonna be sweet! #ducatinyc You've probably changed mirrors by now, but if not try adjustiing them to X view (move them forward and focus towards the opposite side).
Good on you brother for the new Duc. You have been talking of doing this for some time now. A question for you, what exhaust slipons will you fit to the bike to bring out its sound. The Mivvs you have on good old Princess are awesome afterall.
THANK YOU! I already got a Mivv de-cat ready to be installed, but not sure of the pipe. I like the looks of Arrow but not sure of the sound. Same with Zards. Mivv is nice too but its not a double barrel. Not sure yet. Gona have to wait and think :)
@@ducatinyc That sounds all good. It will be interesting to see/hear how this all works out. It will also be interesting to see how the new bike handles the Catskills TT 😁👍.
Gotta get the bike right first and figure out who to do it with. I'm not smart enough to make a intro that nice :) And stock pipe is not sticking around for too long.
I think only the followers invested in the show guessed it was your new bike plus we kind of knew how you Operated and if one of your friends had this bike you would have mentioned that before 🤣😁 just call me Shaft 🤙
Hi man! are u gonna keep the stock exaust or change it? i hade a exactly same bike as u but with a Termignoni system. That sound was amazing. nice vids btw
Enjoy the new bike man she's definitely a beauty, also question ik u said you'll get more bikes in the future would u go with any other brand besides Ducati (bmw, aprilia, etc.) as another bike just curious ;) anyway safe travels boss hope to u soon in these crazy nyc streets.
the mirrors lol are a well known issue on those- they vibrate like biotches thats all, its a twin cant help it. I love it, but Id never have a V twin. a cylinder in my nuts, a pipe on my leg, an the vibration. no. Im an i4 ujm man all the way but I love watching u there, on that, its pretty an sounds good.
Hehe I'm the opposite - sometimes I ride a bike that is too smooth and I feel like Im missing out on the vibrations and rattles and the theater but - variety is the spice of life. Mirrors were first to go.
How is the gopro 11 working for you? I have thought about getting one for just riding around and getting some clips but I'm concerned it will stop working due to glitches, overheating or sd card corruption. Have you had any of these issues during these past months?
I upgraded from my 7 and its night and day. I have not had any of those issues. It did overheat when I was shooting a howto vid but never during riding. Well worth the money.
Glad you being safe and upgrading been watching you since day one keep up the smooth content
If I was being safe I would have upgraded 4 years ago :)

For sure, that is on the list of mods for sure. A bit frustrating because thats where my wireless charging quadlock is supposed to go....

Nice! I'm glad I'm not the only one riding the nut roaster around NYC.
This baby is not even that hot, or at least not yet. But I guess it has been brick out.
Congratulations on the new Ducati.
Thank you Mega much
About time 😂 Enjoy!
She’s a beauty 👍
Thank you thank you. I'm in love so far.
Congrats on the new bike! Looking forward to your 'essential' add-ons and mods :)
Thank you! Will be doing a few vids about this :)
Bar end mirriors and you are golden, my friend!
Already done - you know me too well.
And there you are! This will be a fun journey with the new bike. Nice to see the real beginning.
Thank you for being here to see me FINALLY come around to doing what I said I will do years ago

Congrats on the bike🔥 one question tho, I know very little about motorcycles but is it normal to ride on such high rpm on low gears all the time?

It just pulls harder at higher RPMs

Yea, was a bit too excited for no reason. Not the best way to break it in.
these bus lanes are stupid..and if your car goes on them, expect a ticket from the cameras
As long as there is a bus behind you - the lanes themselves do not have cameras.
